  1. Topic merged into here. Thank you Legoman for the link.
  2. I am sure you will want us to comment in public! But I can't resist it and to tell you that those minifigs comparison style is outstandingly funny!
  3. Just outstanding! I can't believe I had actually sat still and watched the entire movie!
  4. 1) I have played more than 10 mafia games in Eurobricks and everyone of it is a brand new experience for me. Full experience can be found here. 2) I should be around except for some odd-ball weekends and the upcoming Chinese New Year (in 3rd week of Jan for a few days). Other than that, I am definitely ready. 3) Like the Mystery Castle, where the word "grim" night is defined for being too trusty to Shadows by protecting him outside before I was killed and of course, I was busy watching him and Zepher having an affair in the room! One of the best defining classic moments for me! Many other games are equally memorable too.

  9. Thanks guys and I am glad you had truly enjoyed it. It was my pleasure to bring this contest for you guys to participate. I hope we will have more of these kind of contests in the future. Nope, and this is the surprise that I refer to earlier.
  10. Cute little Santa with his tricycle reindeer. Merry Xmas to you too, Schfio.
  11. Very nicely done review. I enjoyed reading it and viewing these images. I must admit that the new BA stuff (inclusive of the prototypes) are really very incredibly designed. Thank you for sharing with us.
  12. Own time own target. Finished the basic lessons in the pinned topics, that's the first step to take. I have granted you access. Welcome to Reviewers Academy.

  14. Opps, added that in, under the set information even though I am not sure what the price will be. I'll add just a few words that come to my mind regarding this series: Wow, this series MUST have really impressed you. You hardly wants all of them and I am glad you are looking forward to Series 6. Well, it will be the equivalent on our end too, with Euro 2.50 each... These minifigures are getting dearer and it's making me harder to collect more of them due to it's higher price-tag. Perhaps, the love of these minifigures had indeed clouded my mind. I am already looking forward to your traditional vigs. Yes yes! You raised a very good point. In fact, it slipped out of my mind. In fact, this is THE ONLY series that had so many female presumed minifigures including the Lady Liberty and Surgeon. Didn't expect that part of the construction was done in your area too. Bendable feel with solid ABS plastic. You wish so!
  15. Thanks guys for your commenting thoughts. Thank you Rick for the blogging! I jumped... thinking that I will get the old life-jackets... Instead, I got this crap. Ah ha... So, there are others who have gotten the old life-jackets in this polybag. I wonder what is the intention of this change. Sigh. If they can actually rectify it.. I couldn't mind using the new design but as of now, it's total crap to me. I will need to find the older versions for replacement.
  16. Post moved. No posting apart from updating your own post. Updates are to be done in here.
  17. I will see what I can do about it if I am able to provide a new image for this. Nope, there is no stud at the bottom of the pot.
  18. You can participate in any Eurobricks contest upon signing up as a member. Only voting rules will differ for newer members. Errr... Nope. This is not what I meant. What I meant was, something in the LEGO Licensed Forum that might just materialise in the future. No promises though.
  19. I did not note the distribution and arrangement of the minifigures. But I do notice on the 3rd row somewhere, there is 2 Celtic Warriors smacked right one after another. Not sure if it will helps, but it was very chaotic when I am doing this review. Thus, I didn't note the arrangements.
  20. Huh? Is there reports from others who have the old life-jacket? What about the new City Harbour sets? Do they come with the new or old life-jackets? Ah ha, same here for me as well. Thanks. You ought to get hold of it if you can. It's really great to acquire it since these minifigures are very generic looking unlike the usual police and fire minifigures.
  21. Hello everyone, I am back in the LEGO City scene to bring you a simple comprehensive polybag review which feature and complement the latest 2011 LEGO City Harbour theme. This City polybag is not widely available and can be found in certain countries like the United Kingdom promotion. It was not easy to acquire this, so I got to thanks Rufus for helping me out. Name: 30015 Jet Ski Theme: LEGO System / City Year: 2011 Pieces: 24 Minifigs: 2 minifigures Price: USD N.A, GBP N.A, SGD N.A Resources: Brickset, BrickLink An original polybag image of the 30015 Jet Ski Back view of the original polybag image of the 30015 Jet Ski Enjoying the sea breeze together I am always fond of picking up small LEGO polybags and this is no exception. In this City polybag, it offers a new mode of sea transportation which is related to the LEGO City Harbour theme. Although this polybag is made up of a much smaller scale, but it offers pretty good selection of generic City looking civilians that can be used in your City population. Instruction Manual The LEGO building content Not much LEGO bricks in here and the bricks count are exactly there for the building of the jet ski. Meet these lovely City minifigures These 2 lovely City minifigures are just fantastic. Both of them can be widely used for generic purposes and any amount of female minifigures are widely welcomed. In this case, the female torso is quite uncommon, while the male minifigure is part of the new releases of diver's design. Both minifigures also contain back-printing which certainly add much more details in the design. New LEGO life-jacket?? As you can see from the instruction manual, we ought to be using the original LEGO life-jacket design. However, in this case this is a complete new life-jacket design. While it adds more details on the strap and lines, but the entire design is totally hideous and ugly. After you placed the life-jackets onto the minifigures, there is an obvious gap between the neck and the torso which made it totally unfit with one another. I got no use for these new life-jackets and I really wished TLG can bring back the old ones instead. Do you like the new life-jacket design? Different views of the Jet Ski The jet ski design is easy to build. The design is simple and it can actually holds 2 minifigures in there. Not too bad at all. You are safe in my hands To conclude, this is a simplistic City polybags which actually offers 2 good minifigures which includes a female minifigure. I got nothing much to complain except that the new life-jacket is totally hideous. If you can find it with a decent pricing, you should definitely pick it up. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (Fun to play with.) Design: 8/10 (Jet ski's design is pretty good with the exception of the new ugly life-jacket element.) Price: 8/10 (Pretty affordable to acquire, even in the secondary market.) Overall: 8/10 (You should grab this polybag especially if you are a City collector.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? I hope every one of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Criticisms are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Flickr and My Brickshelf (When moderated)
  22. Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments. I didn't notice the side flaps of the helmet. You are right on the "cut-out". It didn't really bother me as I will think the overall design was very nicely done. I wonder if it was some sort of limitations on their end. Too bad, I don't own any Brickforge ones to make a comparison. Indeed it is. Thank you. I will be looking forward to the article. Thank you CopMike! Yea, I will give my thanks to her on your behalf. Thank you Boney for helping to tweak on the server's end. It's great to see many enthusiastic readers. Someone has helped me to fix it. Fixed! You ought to collect them while they are still readily available. It's truly impressive when you place the entire theme together. Ah ha, the new head mold definitely doesn't allows turning. But at the same time, it offers detail. I could say both heads including the one from BrickWarriors is meant to compliment with one another with different purposes. At least, it give us more choices to choose from.
  23. Please post them in here. Topic locked. WhiteFang
  24. Thanks guys! Time for me to get some rest since this review has been in the works for many sleepless nights. I like those retro guys. Now, I didn't thoughts that the Flamenco dancer is part of Wild West but I find it pretty fitting for it. It will be a great female addition. You made felt better now! Yea, I didn't thought of it before. The helmet was not a big issue for me since the overall appeal is much greater and I am glad TLG did make this Roman solder.
