Does anyone remember the email that got sent out to VIP Members back in July? Let me refresh your memory: "We know how much our LEGO® fans love their minifigures! That's why we're giving your little VIPs the chance to tell us their number one character from the LEGO Minifigure Series 1 - 3. Simply click on their preferred minifigure below to register your vote. We will then turn the most popular characters into an exclusive LEGO Minifigure set, only available to LEGO VIPs!* Choose wisely, you only get to vote once! Voting closes July 30." And in tiny text under the voting chart: "Voting closes on 30 July 2011 and is restricted to one vote per registered VIP Member. The top 5 minifigures will be announced in the November email newsletter and the set will be exclusively available to VIP Members to purchase in 2012, and at this time terms will be announced" I emailed Customer Service, and got two responses, hoping for answers. Again, I let my hopes get too high: "Dear Cody, Thanks for getting in touch with us regarding the LEGO Minifigure Series contest! I'm sorry that you have not heard the results yet. I know that this is disappointing for you, as well as frustrating. I can assure you that the winners will be announced shortly but you'll just have to sit on the edge of your seat and wait anxiously! I have passed along that you're curious to know what the winners are but, unfortunately, we won't be able to release that information until it becomes available to us! Hang tight, Cody! You'll find out soon enough!" and "Dear Cody, Cody, thanks for getting in touch with us about the top 5 Minifigures promotion. I do apologize that the results weren't featured in your November Newsletter. I will pass your comments along and see if we can release the results this month. We appreciate your patience and understanding. We never want to disappoint any our loyal LEGO fans." A lot of us have been anxiously waiting for a while, and it's nearly the end of the year. Where are the results? I know that it's Christmas, and that LEGO is busy, but I've kind of been wanting answers. What do you all think of this? -Sci

Just posted about the 5 mysterious glowing pieces, heh. I have to agree with you all the way. I REALLY, REALLY hope the skull horse ACTUALLY glows in the dark. Kids would love that. -Sci

If you look REEEEEALLL closely, it says "VAMPIRE AND HIS BRIDE!" (Thanks Haltiamieli ) EDIT: Anyone notice in 9462 how the woman has the Cave Woman's hair, and it has a spear (shiny one from 2000) in her hair? Creative! Also, in every set there's a glowy spearhead-shaped thing...maybe another Atlantis type thing? -Sci

That's what everyone on Brickipedia and I were wondering. If you looked a little closer, the mask has a little different design. The picture above is indeed custom. -Sci

You didn't find the image, give credit to the guy that actually posted in it on the Ultrabuild forum..just sayin'.. Egad, those look awful..to me. The only one I find interesting is the Captain America and Green Lantern. -Sci

Oh, lookie, another Advent Calender. How wondeful! That makes 3 calenders next year. Anyway, other than the Calender, every set looks wonderful! A blue bike, more Red Riding Hood baskets, this for sure is the best year for Lego.. -Sci

Clone, I'm the one who brought those to Brickipedia in the first place. Stop taking credit for everything. I found these in an old EB thread posted back in June '10...I'll find it in a bit. EDIT: Found thread. This is how I ended up posting them on Bricki..here.

I reported that on Brickipedia back in June/July...I made up a rumor of it coming from an unreleased "Monster" set. This can not be happening..this can not be happening..frakkin' Christmas MIRACLE!

This is absoluetly amazing! LOTR, then pics, and now this, it's a Christmas miracle! Speaking of Christmas, I'm shocked no one's commented on the Advent Calender...Darth Maul in a red and white hoodie! -Sci

Bricklink has some "hi-res" photos of each minifigure from the Dutchman set: Anyway to make the images smaller, or have them side to side? Oh well, not a big fan of Dutchman..the whole head/beard thing doesn't work for me. -Sci

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
CM4Sci replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
No luck here in MN.. Has anyone created one of those Google Maps Minifigure Maps? It'd be splendid to have one right about now. -Sci -
Hi! I'm Cody, or you can, just call me Sci. I played with LEGO back when I was about 4 (Space Police I was released), and recently got interested again about 6 years ago. My roommate showed me this website a year ago, so I finally decided to join. So..see you 'round the fourms! -Sci/Cody
