  1. Okay, thanks for the info, guess I won't have to worry then. The article also states that the board games line will be phased out in a controlled way, whatever that's supposed to mean.
  2. Official confirmation of the end of board games by Soren Lund from the Spielwarenmesse (in German): http://www.spielware...cht/news/10524/ But will we still be able to buy the Batman and Lotr game, I wonder.
  3. New polybag 30224 Lawn Mower Instructions here http://cache.lego.co...ons/6047193.pdf
  4. Hey, thanks for that article, a lot of things in there I did not know. Yeah, I can see some use for Lego enthousiasts in 3d printing, printing one rare, expensive part or simply a part that does not exist. I don't really understand the copyright problem other people mentioned, the lego brick isn't copyrighted anymore, and if people want to share complete 3d-printable sets on the Piratebay I don't expect the Lego company will be able to stop that. But the quality of these homemade sets will be rubbish, of course.
  5. Don't know if a lego forum is the right part of the internet to ask, but do you run a virus scanner? Might be trojans or spyware if you suddenly see files that are not supposed to be there.
  6. For some reason, the instructions were taken down, so I was afraid I was too late to download them, but luckily they are still availabe at the dailybrick. http://www.thedailybrick.co.uk/lego_instructions/viewer?i=lego_inside_tour_2013_4000008_instructions
  7. Keep in mind, TLG has not said anything about cancellation of the board games line. It was just a rumour on some blog on the internet.
  8. Yeah, apart from the fact that the hands cannot rotate, they are badly aligned as well. And the minidolls can't sit and their feet stick out, I guess they didn't have the time to come up with a good alternative for the regular minifig, or they just did not care.
  9. This Brickshelf folder might help a bit http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=455937
  10. Anynone else notice the ridiculous size of the boxes? Especially the mine, you could fit a modular buidling in that massive box. Couple of years ago Lego promised they would care about the environment and all. Guess not.
  11. Another Lego spoof in Robot Chicken, this time a parody of the 2006 movie Children of Men. They used a custom baby of citizenbrick, wich goes to show that the creators of Robot Chicken are massive geeks. "Wow, the stakes here really aren't as high as they first appear."
  12. More than a month old, but new to me, amazing stopmotion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHbD1N9AuE4
  13. Someone at Brickset mentioned that Danish television talked about CuuSoo, they showed all four models. (models are shown 1m30s in)
  14. No, all I'm saying is that it is weird that a Cuusoo contest is won by someone who works for Cuusoo.
  15. Masashi Togami gets PAID by working for Cuusoo, so he is benefitting from it. Why do you doubt that he pushed anyone to okay it? Do you have any insight in the process that I don't have? He works for Cuusoo, posts an idea on the Cuusoo website, that idea gets approved. No conflict of interests there.
  16. That's a nice way of saying that the other three sets never even had a chance to begin with. And we are not supposed to be critical of the whole decision process, because of charity and all.
  17. I am no fan of conspiracy theories either, just wanted to point out that the designer of the DeLorean works for Cuusoo.
  18. Brickqueens review of 41008 Heartlake City Pool:
  19. That gigantic piece is a part of set 10661, as confirmed by page 22 of the instructions. instructions here: http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6033896.pdf
  20. Better picture of 31008 on brickset today.
  21. Tiny bit of adult humor ("put the knob in the hollow end"), but nothing too bad.
  22. Lackluster? These are the ugliest licensed Lego sets I have ever seen. They look like clone brand sets slabbed together from random parts.
