*I whisper to the others* "Likely the rules will favor him. We should just attack. If he wants to fight; five-to-one seem like good odds, provided that he doesn't have a dangerous special." -

I know, but the pieces I needed don't come in sand red. Had I used regular red, it would have looked stupid. -

The new helmets will be solid like the Phase 1.5 ARC helmet.

For Delta Squad, would you mind them being in a UCS? I'm thinking of a UCS Nu- Class Shuttle (similar to the Lambda), with Delta Squad and 2 Phase I pilots.

We saw the darker side of the war in the Umbara arc. -
What do you mean they are not true Mandalorians? Do you mean that they are not THE True Mandalorians?

I think that their society is like that of the Geonosians: a rigid caste structure in which different job-classes are bred as such. All of them; Pilots, Soldiers, Commanders, Cyborgs, are of the same species.

17 Combat Engineering Squad: Mission to Geonosis: Part 3
LEGOman273 replied to LEGOman273's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It is the primary sniper turret. Outside the building are rocks and spires. It is reletively safe. Also, the room is small, so they (the CIS) used what space they had. Also, it is manned by droids and Geonosians; both of which the CIS regards as expendable. These are the only Clones I have. You should see them when they do not have mission-specific gear. Normally, they each have different equipment packs. Don't worry, the next part will make each seem more distinct. -
Why did you quote me, then say the opposite of my point? RR monsters ate the crystals with no ill effects, as it was their (likely main) food source. PM monsters ate the crystals and, in the American story, begin to shake, thus causing the quakes. In the European story, the monsters become addicted to the crystals and dig around for more, thue causing the quakes. Either way, the PM monsters ate regular rocks as their food, and crystals were like drugs.

17 Combat Engineering Squad: Mission to Geonosis: Part 3

*Mission Log* . . .as it turned out; we WERE going the wrong way. . . *The Squad exits the Catacombs* Dax: "What the - this isn't the main reactor. Where the hell are we?" Slicer: "Obviously the maps were wrong; I really have no clue." Razor: "Quiet! I hear something." *The Clones walk up to a large door* Slicer: "Orienting the maps to our assumed position; it seems we're on the Artillery level. Your call, Sergent." Strykr: "I say we storm the room, and set our dets near the ammo. That'll be enough to take out the factory." Razor: "Copy that. Dax, come with me." *The door opens and the Clones enter, firing* *A brief fire-fight ensues* Strykr: "Clear! Set the charges before any more show up." Dax: "Strange. After a sandstorm, an open room like this should be covered in dust." Strykr: "No shields or doors to block it out. I've got a bad feeling about this." *The Clones set their charges and walk over to the turret - A LAAT/i, surrounded by V-19 Torrents, swoops out of the sky* Dax: "Right on time. Let's go. Use your cables" *Mission Log* . . ."We used our ascension cables to scale the wall down to the ship". . . *On board the LAAT/i* Strykr: "Good work. Mission accomplished. We couldn't capture Poggle, but he'll be killed by the explosion. Speaking of which. . ." *Slicer presses a button on his wrist-com and. . .nothing happens* Slicer: "What the? I know I sync'ed the dets to my com - I checked as I was setting them." *The ships come under fire* Razor: "Too late now. We'll have to report this to General Kenobi." *The ships fly into the hangar bay of a Venator command ship* More views: Prologue Part 1 Part 2 C&C as usual. -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
LEGOman273 replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I agree about the voice acting and diologue. At some points it seemed detached from the action. Emotionless when emotion should be shown. The animation is stiff, choppy, and often exagerated and unnatural. The effects are not good either; explosions lack the depth of color seen in TCW (See "A Friend in Need" and the Umbara arc to see what I mean), and they lack the shockwaves seen in TCW. Characters in CW often do not move when they are in action (standing still while talking v.s. moving naturally in TCW). All in all, CW lacks the depth, detail, and realism that TCW has. -

That is why I said that they could use an off-hand comment about the desire for children. What CW episode is that? (I have a hard time watching CW; I really dislike the animation style. TCW-style is better IMO) Ventress's story? -

One thing that I wonder if will be covered in the coming seasons is that of how Padmé became pregnant. One would think that in a society as advanced as this is; they would have good birth control. Perhaps an off-hand comment about their desire for children could be used. -
