UPDATE(see 10th post for more pics) Hello classic pirates! Last year I began constructing a brigateen for the royal navy However this was destroyed to make space (and bricks) for the guilds of historica. for some reason I can't focus on the building of the third challenge and decided it was time for a break, so 2 days ago I started re-building the HMS Gladiator now to start the other side (inside's a total mess), finish the deck and start rigging! I hope to have it finished within a fortnight, I hope that's not unrealistic, as I might enter this in the jolly roger III contest which means I'll need to build a small pirate ship too! Sorry about the image quality, for now they are only up for advice. For 2 4 days I think I've done all right, but there is something that bugs me about it, not sure what, so I am asking for feedback from the experts. I want this to be accurate to the era of ships. It won't have an interior as my parts are limited. The other thing I would like is possibly a sail/rigging plan for a brig of the 18th century. Please post soonish as I want this done by the second week of April so I can get cracking on challenge 3! I know I am asking a fair bit but it would be very much appreciated if you could. =Legonardo=

Amazing remake of one of the best LEGO pirate sets of all time, my vote has been placed!

The aim of this house was to look dark and gloomy, but perhaps I did make too dark. it is dark and reddish brown, on the other pics it is shown much more clear.

I can edit it more if you like, I'm still unsure about the border, I made the design myself. feed back would be appreciated so I can get the final copy perfect. the first build for challenge 3:

My Davy Jones is also Chinese, although he is still one of my favorite figs. its unfortunate but I think we are only going to get more and more cheap Chinese thinngs

No there isn't an official uniform standard. it is encouraged to where something along the colors of our flag (dark and sand green) but is not restricted. not really on topic but where abouts in NZ are you from?

so let me get this strait. Everyone votes It can be as a comic consisting of several mocs (like rise of the mage by SoT) ^the judging will be the whole comic type thing on the whole Winner get's joust ... Mini-Challenges for Avalonia with parts packs as prizes?!? this guild is getting better and better! I can re-make the banner in a different color, by don't expect it here for 1 or 2 days, I have a busy weekend

are LDD entries allowed? I would only use parts in colors that exist, but my part collection isn't the best and I would still like to compete EDIT never-mind, I just read the rules oh well maybe next time.
