  1. here is a small teaser image of my latest build for the Prince of the forest title. I am going skiing tomorrow till wednesday so I'll put better photos on thursday ~Legonardo~
  2. well i wouldn't call it boring but it wasn't the best of chapters... but lets not turn this thred into an argument over the book
  3. Well I think you have pretty much nailed castle building! the base is brilliant and so is the tower! great to see you're carrying on the kingdoms spirit
  4. Awesome! your building is really improving! not sure I like the yellow windows but it is a very nice build over all.
  5. Well seeing as its bumped Great build Mikey! the foliage is awesome!
  6. I use yellow heads in almost all my MOCs, in my drow tower i used fleshy heads hanging off chains because they look so pale that they could be dead! I personally go with yellow and that isn't about to change but I do think that it is unfair if only one "Race" is allowed and accepted.
  7. that is creepy! good job! ~Legonardo~
  8. Welcome to Eurobricks. your uhm...whatever it is is real neat, I like the use of the capes, hope to see more from you! ~Legonardo~
  9. Very cool, the landscaping is excellent!
  10. holidays started today for me good luck! (if you need any help PM me ~ or simply continue our current conversation)
  11. Perfect! just how I pictured it when I read the book!
  12. Haha, bringing the uruk design upside down Really want armies now!
  13. Mybad Thanks!
  14. Thanks guys, glad you like it! Thanks, yeah that is just the angle of the picture. and by flat what do you mean? I noticed the brick-built staern and chose not to follow it not because i didn't like it but because I don't have the parts. the grey line is there because I didn't have enough black hinges to complete the bow/stern. I am aware that the Medee is built on four and while I have four, if I where to stretch it out more I wouldn't be able to tile the deck (I'm not able to do it right now, what you see in the pics is all i have) and I don't have enough cannons to fill that. the other option is to turn it into some sort of sloop/schooner on 2 mids and work on that, I'm not too far into this project so changing it wouldn't be a huge hassle. I know my parts are limited and I really should get more but I don't want this to turn into an expensive project, eventually I will make ships and havethe whole thing done up to perfection but at the moment I'm close to broke and I have a felling that won't change too soon I can't do dk red or tan, yellow I can do but I'm not to sure if that is to common on french ships? Thanks!
  15. Very nice! good luck in the contest!
  16. And why is that? if needed, the army of Glevum is ready and assembled (especially now at the word of deadly elementals) My mimic of De Gothia's background isn't perfect but this is what I came up with.
  17. I'm going to need a really good challenge 4 Torgar, Love that micro build with your character!
  18. Dankeschön! The pictures are great, they help a tonne! I hope to finish La Fayette early September (a long wait but it gives me more than enough time to participate in GoH and finish the ship at a nice standard). once again thanks! ~Legonardo~
  19. I have to agree with you there, maybe not so much as they suck but they aren't the best. I am buying them only for parts and figs and there is a possibility I won't even build the models!
  20. Cool to see you are really getting into digital art, it can be really fun! the map is good, It has a cute fairy-tale feel to it (you need to PM me that background ) makes me want to re-create my map, also good to see you remembered Glevum My next build will be a beacon, I was going to place it between Beonic and Glevum, but if it is OK with you, could it be art the edge of beonic? it may posibly feature a particular sigfig who has been recently engaged... EDIT: 100 pages ago to (three posts ago) I joined Eurobricks, We have sure come a long way!
  21. i guess so...
  22. Good on you!
  23. Very nice, It's rare we see WWI/II MOCs around here so good on you! the figures/posing is excellent, the scenes themselves are great too! keep it up!
  24. Nice! A village is something that I really want to have a go at, I just don't have the parts! keep it up! ~Legonardo~
