  1. This set is absolutely amazing! Definitely a day 1 purchase! One of the things I like most is that it’s a reigning Queen, in armor too, and all the female knights and guards.
  2. My local store got in some of the new BaM parts!
  3. Why is so much dislike of the “fantasy” sets? The central figure of Christmas is Santa Claus so sets based on his workshop and such makes sense. Even if you want more real world sets in a village all about Christmas it makes sense that they would have a Santa’s village. Sets I’d like to see: Snowman house/igloo (we’ve never had a Snowman minifig) Reindeer stable Inn Cafe Town Hall House/chalet
  4. I just noticed in set 60302 the monkey has a cast on! I’m sorry he’s hurt but man is it cute! lol.
  5. I’m excited for the new ferris wheel, I don’t have the older sets and wasn’t going to pay the retired prices.
  6. I definitely want the small set just for the monkeys, so cute!
  7. It gives the impression of the character but doesn’t look like the actor. If you want to see a toy that look like an actor go look at a recent Marvel Legends or better yet a Hot Toys. in fact LEGO and MiniMates do not have to pay actor likeness rights because they are not seen as true likenesses, they’re seen as a caricature because they lack a nose.
  8. I hadn’t even looked at the torso to see what costume it was, I saw Wanda and just thought WandaVision since we’re supposed to get her in the CMF. I was so annoyed by the lack of the tiara that it was all that I saw...or didn’t see. Lol. I’ve edited my comment since it was not the correct minifigure but I still feel the hair is more important to the look than the face print. They don’t have a nose so they’re never going to look like the actor.
  9. I can’t wait to see the new sets. I mistakenly thought this was the Scarlet Witch from the CMF and was annoyed that she lacked the tiara not even bothering to look at the costume print. lol I stand by my comment though, the hairpiece has more impact on the minifig looking correct than the face print I’m glad they’re including her in the Endgame set as she was the only Averager to actually get real damage done to Thanos. Plus she’s my favorite Avengers character so I’m always happy to get another minifig of her.
  10. Build-able Harry and Hermione, Fawkes, and the Chess set are also up on Target for pre-order.
  11. Now seeing how the new sets go together I'm like the sets a lot more. I'm still bummed that they're not designed to go with the current Hogwarts sets but I may very well end up getting them and having a second Hogwarts. Hogsmeade is my favorite set and it might be blasphemy to say this but the thing I'm the most excited about is adding some Christmas elements and adding it to my Winter Village display.
  12. It looks great, I can’t wait to add it to my village. I wonder what or if there will be a new GWP on October 1st. I don’t want it to sell out on me but I also don’t wanna buy it day one and then realize if I’d waited a week or so it’s still in stock and I could’ve gotten a really cool GWP https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/elf-club-house-10275
  13. The Elf Clubhouse looks great! I love the design of the building with the steep pitched roof. I agree with everyone about the inclusion of only one reindeer.
  14. Until a year or two ago I would disassembled each set and bag them. I’d then put them back together starting in November. In the last couple years I was leaving some sets together save time, it’s about 50/50. The most recent set is always disassembled so I build it again and the toy shop which was the first set is also build and disassembled each year.
  15. Someone mentioned that the Burrow may be a target exclusive here in the US so it would make sense that it was an exclusive to a store in the UK as well.
  16. WOW! ? The AT fits in great, even the slight variations on the tops of the towers work the castle was probably built over decades so it makes sense that they would be slight variations. I really hope they continue making sets that add on to the castle, it looks fantastic.
  17. If you look close it looks like the small building next to the tower pegs onto it so it could be separated. It could put in between the clock tower and the astronomy tower, although it doesn’t look like the greenhouse separates off of it so maybe that won’t work. The astronomy tower also has two sets of pegs going in two different directions on the back right side.
  18. I’ve seen several people say they don’t like the way Grawp looks. He’s made just like Aries from the first Wonder Woman movie which is exactly what I was expecting What were you guys expecting?
  19. OMG the AT is so amazing looking! I can’t wait to get it!
  20. I so excited to see the Astronomy Tower set, it's definitely the new set I'm most anticipating. I'm just now getting back into Harry Potter LEGO sets after many years. My first purchase was the Great Hall soon to be followed by the Whomping Willow and Clock Tower.
  21. I did notice some binding up of the wheels on the EN loco so I removed the piston and wheel connector and it still came to a stop after a minute or so. I've wired up lights in the loco so the AAA battery box is in the tender. It seems to be enough weight. I've tried some MODS like the axle pins, but I have not increased the cylinder as I don't have the parts needed to do so. Thank you all for the help, it's was frustrating when this happened. I've gone to so much work to get this train up and running and setting up my Lego Christmas village under my tree and was very excited to have the train going.
  22. I can post some pictures tomorrow but for now, the EN has stopped on several different points on the track. I thought it was the track so I checked it and moved it around and still it just stops. I but the 9v motor/tender in the front and it ran longer then before but still came to a stop after 5 or so minutes. I'm going to get an other motor and see if that makes a difference. Maybe if I put 2 on the train it will be better.
  23. Hi I'm new to Eurobricks and to the world of Lego Trains. I'm having an issue with my first train set and I hope you all could help. I bought and converted the Emerald Night to run on a 9v track using the method I read on the forum, motor on tender. I’ve set up my Emerald Night on an tracking and started running it with two passenger cars and a caboose and it was going great for a few minutes then just stopped. I’ve tried fixing the wheels on the locomotive like was mentioned and even removed the piston that connects all the wheels. But it is still coming to a stop after a few minutes. I got the 9V motor used on eBay is it possible the motor is not strong enough? It seems to run fine without the locomotive in front of it that's why I thought it was the wheels causing the problem. Any help would be great, thank you.
