I'm always fascinated to see the interior of ships and the level of detail put into them. This is one of the best that I have seen. Awesome job!

Excellent design! I just signed up for Cuusoo to support it. I'll be bidding on the Ebay one as well. -
Wow, these all look fantastic! Love the brick-built walls. Very nice!

Thanks for the detailed review. Looking forward to these sets coming to the States as I will be getting them for my daughters. Also looking forward to your other Friends sets reviews!

Interesting. My two daughters (7 and 10) were very interested in these. I've been watching for them here in the US to pick a couple of them up for Christmas presents. Thanks for the mini review. They look promising enough.

Jurgen's Lil Devil up on Ebay
dunamis replied to Meatman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Jurgen - I'm glad you contacted him. He needs to know what he is doing is wrong. FYI, here is the response he gave back to me when I flat out asked him if this was Jurgen's Little Devil: Anyway, let us know if he responds. -

Well, I'm jumping on this as well. I send the guy a question in Ebay about it too. I'll let you know if he responds. -
8109 Flatbed Truck
dunamis replied to DarkShadow73's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Interesting as I did the exact same purchase from TRU online last week. On Monday they had a $25 off offer as well if you used a Mastercard and free shipping! It was a great deal getting two 8109 trucks for only $125+tax. I'm looking forward to building this set. -
Ah, very nice! Thanks for the heads up. I'll be getting one for sure.

dunamis replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow, that is fantastic! Thanks for opening it and reviewing it for us. I had no idea they made these. You are very lucky indeed! -
Yes, I remember seeing the official LEGO auction on Ebay. It did sell for close to $30K. I saw this in person at LEGOLand California Star Wars Days and it was quite impressive. Amazing model with lots of details.

Lego 8285 or 8258 or 8421
dunamis replied to ILoveTechinic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The 8285 is a nice build and does look great! That was my review linked above from 2006 and I still have the truck sitting on my shelf to this day (over 4 1/2 years later). I've built a number of Technic sets since and the 8285 still ranks up there. In retrospect, my overall rating was probably too low for the truck. The 8258 is a fun build as well. It was on my shelf for a while as well, but didn't get the same amount of discussion that the 8285 did from friends/neighbors viewing my collection. I have an 8421 but haven't had time to build it so I can't really comment about it (yet). I doubt you would go wrong with any of them. From what I have seen on the secondary market, you will probably be able to get the 8258 for less money than 8285 or 8421. There seem to be a bunch of them on Ebay. -
