  1. Well, I actually just read on flickr that someone heard that severe weather at their U.S. server was to blame. Apparently it was working in the rest of the world thanks to other servers. It's back up now.
  2. The above quoted from Bricklink's TOS.
  3. No, you didn't. You specifically said that, to both Captain Geoffrey and Chef Walter, at the same time. You also said that And you aren't Indeed, you are correct. I may have started the vote yesterday, but that was an honest mistake on my part. I truly am sorry. Please see past that so we can root out the real Dragons.
  4. I'd like to aid him in his search
  5. [quote name='Striker' date='Sep 28 2009, 12:27 AM' post='590085' How about no, you crazy foreign extremist! He's not foreign.... You three are really too quick to vote this morning. Why don't we go over the evidence presented. I think the Dragons did make themselves clear, though I don't think Simon is the number one threat. Did we not agree that if we were wrong about the ambassador that we'd avenge his death? It was clear that he thought the Friar was a bigger threat, and more likely to be a Dragon. I will not place my vote yet, as I realize I was too quick to with too little evidence yesterday, and for that I'm sorry. I'd like to see what others have found out last night first.
  6. Wow, this is a great start! I do have a few suggestions to raise this from great to spectacular, though. 1) Some of the pictures are a bit blurry or dark, try editing them using something like picknik. 2) Some parts of the rocks seem a little too blocky, especially where there is different colours meeting. Try making it a bit like camouflage on a tank. While not specifically related to pirate building, this thread on flickr might help. 3) If you decide to redo the rocks, I'd suggest continuing it through under the grass. You started it, but making it all flow together would really add to it. 4) I don't really think the tiles on top of the rocks are a great idea. Rocks are rocky after all . 5) The outpost and horse seem a bit tacked on. Try spending a bit more time working on the building, so that it really stands out amongst the plants. The horse doesn't seem necessary. 6) Try something else for the puke. At first I just though he'd fallen over onto a plant. I really like the overall idea, and all the different activities that the figs are doing really adds to it. And, like others have said, the dock looks amazing! You are well on your way to one of the top spots.
  7. Can I put my name down here, even if I'm not sure I'll have the time necessary? I think I will, though I'm unsure.
  8. OK, so I have four orders that I sent out two months ago, and they haven't been marked received yet. The thing is, none of these people will reply to emails. Is there any way I can complete my order yet?
  9. Happy birthday Adam, Justin and Admiral Marcel! Enjoy it!
  10. I'm assuming he means something like this; like a utility service truck. I could be wrong though. I'm interested to see what colour it is, and what details are included.
  11. And I'd like to eat it. Morn'n everyone. It's unfortunate whats happened to poor lord Gregor 'ere. I say we search through everyone's rooms. K?
  12. And then picture it ten times worse
  13. Sweet, but isn't it a day early? Great contest, I think I might enter this. Edit: Whoops, nevermind.
  14. It's black, just like the hard hat .
  15. So you assume I'm voting with no evidence, and because of that, you're voting for me? I'm quite sure how that works, hypocrite. I was trying to help keep you in order in front of the King and his Majesty. How so? How would you know this, unless you yourself are a Dragon? You'd have to be a Dragon to know who he truly is. You wouldn't call a Dragon a, "Good man, and respectable," if you weren't a Dragon. What? You trusted Will for a while yesterday, how is that trusting the right person. I think you, Peter, and Sirion are all Dragons. Sirion is the leader or whatever you call it, and you and Peter are his puppets. Sirion tells Peter what to do, and you just go along with it using your "relations" as an excuse. It's very unconvincing. Makes sense to me.
  16. You also should've known that this is getting very excessive and annoying.
  17. I'd say that the wizard is more dangerous. He could kill any one of us, and we don't truly know who's side he is on. He said that he knew for a fact that William was the head of the Dragons. He wasn't. That means he was lying. We don't know how many other lies he has said, and we just can't trust him. Therefore, I must, for our safety and the safety of this treaty, Vote: Sirion Vipont/ImperialShadows
  18. Yeah, so get working on it, ambassador .
  19. Oh man, that one made me crack up so much then. It really doesn't matter how far along you are with something - there's so much more to it than displaying MOCs.
  20. Just don't be late for the ferry, waiting two more hours when you get there right as it leaves is not fun.... Unfortunately, I cannot make it there. I'm am considering sending a MOC or two of mine with Jenn the Brick Chick, though I doubt it'll happen. I'm sure you'll all have a great time, Dave and Stacy are both great people.
  21. Or for the day to end early, you need 3/4+ of the vote, though if the day did take the 4/5 days, 50% would suffice.
  22. Well, someone's a little angry, aren't they?
  23. I just thought it was hypocritical for everyone to say that they didn't like the helicopter being it had a big, <insert that tiresome argument> piece for the nose, and then run over and praise the tanker, which still has <insert that tiresome argument> pieces.
  24. Maybe your both? Does it really matter....
  25. I couldn't agree more, friar. One day I'd like to be like you .
