  1. hey shaggy!! MOC stands for My Own Creation, or something you design on your own. Mod is a modification to one of your MOCs or an official lego set. and minifig is one of those little lego people we have all come to love! enjoy your stay here!!

  6. very nicely done!! i really like the suspension and i like the fact it is a buggy (there arent many PA buggies around). one other thing i like is the way you did the wheels, just brilliant also, it looks like a bobcat loader to me X-D (which is a plus ;-) )
  7. well id like to say that ive brought something to EB, but truthfully i havent :-/ :-$ . i would like to show off some of my MOCs but i have horrible photography skills :-/

  10. i cant wait!! i think this is going to be fun
  11. my two finalists were Batbrick and 007 . but in the end i voted for Batbrick as it really is just a mix of everything that a bat could need (not that 007's isn't everything a sea captain could need).
  12. well as long as it doesn't come back down/gets launched into the sun, i think it'll be ok ;-) X-D
  13. A set like 6383 is exactly what i was thinking about!! oh and if i do make either of the buildings i would love to share them (though they probably wouldn't be that good :'-( )
  14. if they have 6383 public works center i might be interested in buying it (depends on the price) or any of the small construction sets, like a backhoe etc. (also depends on price) btw great finds!!
  15. very nice *y* it's hard to explain this one....... it's just..... funny *sweet* very good job
  16. or MINIMIZE me. basically the exact opposite of what blueandwhite said. just in case someone doesn't have enough bricks
  17. *sweet* may it be filled with lego, pictures, and lego pictures
  18. i store mine in a rubermaid-type bin and sort them by type. although i might start putting them in a binder like brickadier general said
  19. well, im not sure how many people would enter this, but i was thinking about a small (jeep/pickup) army vehicle moc contest. not really sure how to explain it :-$
  20. last night me and my mom went to winners (at lawrence plaza) and found an opened batcave box. we had gone earlier and had printed out what was in the box so we could check. now for the price woohoo. at regular retail store (in canada) it is $120-$130, at sears there was a broken box but they would only mark it down to $99. at winners, their regular price is $80, but they were marked down to $60. for being open, missing the instructions, sticker sheet and long bar, we got it for $45 (us=$44.68) (eur=$30.45)
  21. thats a pretty good list you got there! but yes, the blade titan is :-/ . i would also recommend bridge walker vs. white lightning. not sure though, as your list is more on the $20(us) price range
  22. i've been contemplating making one of these for my own city: Public Works Department includes a. (bases) (3) one t-road plate, one straight plate, and one 16x16 dark bley plate b. (vehicles) (6) one excavator, two small vans, two small dump trucks, 1 garbage truck c. (building) (1.5) one smallish (one story, 20x16) dark red office with computers and washroom. also a parking garage type kiosk built into the gate d. (minifigs) (6) three workers, one secretary, one boss, one garbage man e. (extras) some small hand held equipment, garbage, and small area to store gravel/1x1 round plates not really sure how feasible this is considering it would be fairly pricey (my guess $170-$200) Run Down Buildings or if you have a better name tell me and i will change it *sweet* includes a. (bases) (2) for the garage; something like this and a 32x32 baseplate for the other b. (vehicles) (3) flat bed tow truck, small car for service, delivery truck, maybe a forklift? c. (buildings) (2) two garage bays and a office/shop for the garage, old, 2 story warehouse (with delivery center at the side/back and no middle floor/ high roof) d. (minifigs) (7) two service workers, one tow truck driver, one civilian, one shop owner/cashier for garage, two warehouse men e. (extras) jack and tools for garage, lots of crates/barrels for warehouse probably around $100-$130 just my ideas, hope you like them!!
  23. i can surely recommend this set! though i only have that, the trike, and a few little mtm sets. and i can assure you i got it for less (free from my friend :-P ) oh and i got Sentai fortress and bridge walker the other day
  24. i have the french version, and, if you would like, i might be able to upload a few pictures. not sure though as i dont have great photography skills :-/
