Oh, that sucks. That's why I keep all my tools (2 Microfibre clothes, 2 Brick Separators, and a wide, small haired brush) in one of my sorting Tupperware tubs under my workbench.

I have absolutely no clue why, but for the past two years, I've been keeping the boxes, with no intentions of getting rid of them. I flatten them, and then stack them inside my closet, where there is room.

I'm pretty much with Eilif on this one. I go for sets that have good parts to MOC with, and if they have great Minifigures, then that's a bonus. On the other hand, a set like Shanghai Chase was bought mainly for the Minifigs, though there were some useful parts. Also, MF accessories are essential to a good setup (IMO), and they can also be a deciding factor on a set.
