  1. Sadly, I don't think so. For a while it seemed like older Toa were going down in value, and even now older Toa such as Tahu are not worth much out of box. Still, as no one was selling them on BrickLink, I don't really think there's much of a market. Sorry. --Faramir
  2. Well, I certainly would like to... ;-) I'm surprised you found it. Judging by what you said, it was probably a left over one they put out, not a new one. I got an old Jungle Adventurers set like that once, about three years afetr it was released :-P .
  3. Bienvenidos al nuestro sitio en el internet! Hope you enjoy your stay. --Faramir
  4. It sure did. I mean really, no interior on the original? This is supposed to be the skele home pad, but they dont even have a place to stand! Looks like you at least fixed that. Nice. --Faramir
  5. I have 367 sets (see below,) oldest one being Renegade Runner (which is actually my sister's, but she does need it >:-) .) I'd guess over $4000, especially because the mini-fig scale Millenium Falcon is worth so much now. If anyone wants to check my Brickset and add it all up, you're welcome :-P .
  6. I like it! Kinda like a bulked up starfighter, classic-style! How many figs does it fit? --Faramir
  7. Looks good from what I can see, but still a lil blurry, might want to see if you can fix that. Like the design-- basic, but still good. If you really want it to be Wal-Mart, try adding some employees locked in a cellar :-P . Over 100 posts already? 7 MOCs? Slow down, dude! :-)
  8. That would be a cool idea, kinda like little vigs in time (except not vigs, of course.) They should be against someone, though-- I don't really think they would be traveling in time just to make TLC money, more to stop some crazed milkman or something... Like the Alien War idea, maybe they can use the jellies as some kind of renewable fuel source >:-) . --Faramir
  9. Probably, but that was a pretty big selling set. For sets like Dwarves' Mine and Hoth Base I'm pretty sure that they send out only 3-4 shipments per store >:-(. At least it feels that way sometimes. Battlepacks they also produce a lot of, but by the end of the year we go to stores and see 20 Droid BPs and no Clone ones :'-( .
  10. I remember the show, but I've never seen it. I also like how they grey/bley mix. Looks good for a tank. Lastly, I see hinges near the back. Does it have an interior? If so, we'd love to see it.
  11. I agree that this was mostly to show off Market Street and the Battle Wheel. I'll bet that we still get normal Spring Catalouges with everything they should have.
  12. Oh, why the torso stickers, why? :'-( Skull doesn't look great for me either, but the Star Justice I've gotta get... once I have money...
  13. I'd have to go with Rancor. I mean really, how many different MOCs could it be used in? And then there are the Whacking Contests... --Faramir
  14. I agree with Dr. S. But besides that, it looks great. The can head actually looks pretty good, in my opinion. It reminds me of when you see soldiers with those oversized-looking helmets. Nice job --Faramir
  15. When I say "big," I mean that it filled up pretty fast. I know how the TIE Army forum goes... *sweet* How would I go about subscribing?
  16. I had to put Galidor. I mean really, come on! Like a bad mix between Mega Bloks, Transformers, and those horrible 2008 Bionicle Tractors... I didn't have as much a problem with Jack Stone as a lot of other people. Let the 4+ year olds play the way they want without choking on those pretty chrome pieces. --Faramir
  17. Wow. I really missed a lot. :'-( Is there any way to keep track of big discussions like this do I don't get left out... again? X-D
  18. Nice find, never seen it before. I wonder how mega bloks was able to get around this? Probably something about renewing.
  19. [quote name=Shoc' date='Mar 19 2008, 04:54 PM' post='274431' Modified bricks? *skull* I think I see what he means now. Look right here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3035421 You can see the little grey clip/hinge part has apparently been cut. There are probably many more but this is there first one I found. EDIT The quote part came out wrong, idk why, sorry. --Faramir
  20. Is there any way to resize the picture without having to upload a whole new set of resized pics to BrickShelf?
  21. Hey, I've noticed that since the website makeover a lot of pictures have had a black backround and say "resized." Does this happen normally with extra large pictures now? Or is it something you still have to do yourself? Thanks, --Faramir
  22. Even though I'm still pretty new, I still remember seeing all his posts. Now that I think about it, I hadn't seen him in a long time. Sorry about all the questions, mods, but how long ago was he banned?
  23. Welcome to EB! Hoping you have fun here. Have you thought about joining any contests? Right now we have a lovely CHAMBER contest >:-) . (Just don't end up there, we all saw Hinckley with that paddle. :-X ). If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! --Faramir
  24. Likin it a lot! Haven't seen the film yet, but it looks really good for that time period. I especially like the curves of the alley edges-- very smooth, and very natural. Nice job!
  25. Overall, I'm happy about all this and the whole "new" overhaul. I also notice slower loading speeds but I guess we can expect that from something this new. My only complain is that all the white hurts mah brain *wacko* .
