  1. That looks really good. Nice collection.
  2. I've seen these in my local Kmart for a month or so. IIRC, they come in two different color schemes: blue torso and legs with reds arms (as pictured ^^) and red torso and legs with blue arms.
  3. I miss those early 1990s sets...
  4. Only 5%? That figure seems awfully low...
  5. Thanks, mate!
  6. Thanks for the info. Yes, it'd be nice to see these at other popular stores, not just Myer.
  7. Anyone know if these will be available in Australia?
  8. Great LEGO story, very romantic, and nice photos too! She's gorgeous
  9. My ex-girlfriend thought it was a nice hobby. My brother always asks when I'm going to put away my "toys"...
  10. Sounds like a good score. Looking forward to the pictures
  11. Thanks for sharing this!
  12. I would go for it! With the two Classic Space ships in there and all the other blue/gray-themed LEGO, it would be a bargain for a Classic Space addict like me
  13. I would have done just about anything as a 10-year-old back in 1984 to have that space setting in my house. I still dream about putting actual illuminated lights on my landing pads... Great pics, thanks!
  14. I've had several of those old leg pieces in the LEGO I've had since the late 1970s.
  15. Nice collections Thanks for sharing the pics!
  16. A closed, non-opaque/transparent container for loose bricks. Display sets are out in the open (although I'm concerned about white bricks being discolored by sunlight.)
  17. For the past three years I've had the 928/497 Galaxy Explorer (1979), 6927 Mobile Tracking Station (1981), 6930 Space Supply Station (1983) sitting on a bookcase on display on Space base plates with various smaller vehicle sets. In recent years I got my LEGO out of storage/Dark Age, sorted it, and bought replacement bricks for those sets I'd owned since the early 1980s. I loved the Classic Space sets when I was younger, and I probably love them even more now
  18. Nice scans, thanks I wonder what they can do with Toy Story besides the minifigs with custom heads. What sets could they make out of that franchise? Not into SW LEGO either. I prefer the in-house Space stuff to the licensed sets.
  19. - and for good reason! This is a terrible idea
  20. The only time I've ever tried a winter landscape in LEGO was when my brother and I would make ski slope scenes back in the early 1980s. But we'd be cheating and use a quilt with a white underside with cushions under it for the snowy slopes
  21. I'm really very impressed with the research gone into this post Cheers!
  22. I don't like to be pedantic, but it's LEGO not "Legos". Sorry, I just can't stand "Legos". All the same, good for finding that lot, even if I'd be more excited if it was Classic sets/bricks.
  23. Thanks for the heads-up about this
  24. Your image links don't work for me (keeps saying 'Cookies must be Enabled on those images), but I looked the Snack Bar 675-1 up on Peeron. I think you are probably right about the prototype hair part, unless someone knows otherwise. I've had LEGO since the late 1970s and never seen that hairstyle piece.
  25. When you said "classic" I was also thinking a Town set from the 1980s. Not sure about your 1990's set, though.
