Your offer is appreciated, good Sir. The Warlocks will build their embassy and a nocturnian marketplace at Glevum, any place you decide will be good. Perhaps it would be best if my building site is somewhere near the river or at least a stream because we need a large supply of water to grow some of our special plants that won't travel well. Don't be frightened, The Warlocks will be delighted to host an embassy. We are rough only towards tresspassers, but we guarantee safety to all our guests who announce themselves. When building in Moorlight area bare this in mind: -there isn't much stone around so your building material would be primarily wood -there aren't any huge beasts since the swamp is thick, but crocks and dangerous bugs and snakes are very common -we drove off most of the local wildlings so they won't bother you, and orcs who work for us won't cause you any problems, we may even send them to aid you with your works -vegetation is very colourfull, wild and bright, it may have some magical properties so be careful when you deforest :) -heavy armor isn't the best choice of wardrobe when you dwell in a swamp -the beacon on the Moorlight tower is constantly lit, so you can always find your way through the swamps. Moorlight area is located in the eastern Moruth (red elipse on the map), so if anyone wishes to build here, we extend our hand of friendship, MWAHAHAHAHAHA..oops..got carried away, anyway see you around :)

I will be building an embassy for Nocturnus in Avalonia. I intend to build somewhere in the countryside, I won't be building a garison, just a market to trade some fine Nocturnian goods with the good people of Avalonia and a small tower of knowledge for all those interested in Nocturnian lore :) So if any Avaloninan Lord would be kind enough to spare a speck of land where a few humble Nocturnians may settle, I'll make sure he gets compensated (his avatar or troops will appear on the MOC ).

Greetings my fellow Lords! We had an interesting string of events here in Moorlight. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=63510 (I uploaded some better pics ) Also I'm anouncing that I will be sending one of my lieutenants to the lands of Avalonia, to oversee the construction of our embassy there. We will extend a hand of friendship to the forestfolk and slaughter them when their guard is down and offer them some of our most exquisite goods. Meanwhile I have some business on the eastern coast, domain to claim, ports to build... Best regards to you all :) -

I think so to. We're not warring umongst ourselves, each of us could travel across the lands of others, you could always visit good ol' Dr Rod in the mountains, The Werewolves in the southern coast or The Warlocks in the eastern swamp. And, as a general, you could build and man garrisons to reinforce the local rule, or, as an agent you could travel the realm in search of spies or carry important documents or informations (like Bono and Luncheon ). -

I agree with most of the stuff Lord Cij braught up, we should finally settle where does each of the lords reside and where are the borders to his/her domain. Next, each of us should realy build some households for the troops and some workshop, maybe a market, a tavern... I will build a port town (the most wretched hive of scum and villainy) on the eastern coastline (as it remains unclaimed and therefore unguarded) and incorporate some of the new buildings into it. What we should also do is see what resources each of us possesses and trade umongst ourselves. For instance since my base is in Moruth I can suply the rest of the realm with wood, rope, precious herbs, but I need metals for example. Further, I don't think we realy need a wall, since the Kel'ra labyrinth protects the pass through the Rakath mountains and I guess they are pretty uncrossable elsewhere... And on those places where the mountains can be crossed I guess we placed watchtowers And finally, The Warlocks cheer for Lord Malvadex and will support his religious cause! As soon as the church to the Outer Gods is finnished, we will follow and build a shrine in theire name, so the followers in Moorlight would have a place of worship. -

Sooooo... Since we're doing nothing at the moment, how about we try to build our own capitol like the Avalonians are doing? Or at least make plans?... First, we should name the capitol and after that make a list of all the crucial buildings one realm of darkness must possess, like a: -temple to an evil deity, -graveyard, -alchemists lab, -summoning grounds, -bestiary, -dungeons ... and some more common buildings, -keep, -barracks, -housholds... What say ye? -

I will be sending two expeditions from my base of operations in Eastern Moruth. One of them will have an asignement to clear a path through the swamp and reach the eastern coast where I plan to build a port so we could launch an attack trade more easily with the other guilds. The other expedition will head toward the central regions of the swamp to explore the old ruins found there and see if they could find something of value to us. My watchtower was finnished yesterday, but I forgot to anounce it here... Anyway, Moorlight tower lies somewhere in the eastern Moruth, it is called so because of the uncanny glow that radiates from the local flora, many souls were swallowed by the swamp and on theire graves, the ghosttorn grows... Ah, finaly some more pics: (sorry for the bad resolution, I never realised how patetic my camera was until I've started photographing my MOCs) This is how it looks from above: from one side: the other (bottom part): (top part): here is one of my disciples, gathering some herbs for the spell components, there's plenty of ghostthorn around: at least orcs are put into good use nobody can open the gate better then them Meanwhile inside the tower... "You have failed me for the last time Gorj!" "Aaaaaaaah!" (Wilhelm's scream ) I have learned that trapdoors are crucial for motivating your troops. And there's a very long... long... way down. What doesn't kill them, makes'em stronger... Oh my, we forgot to feed the crocks again!... Err, where were we? Ah yes, some final images Moorlight tower is named so because of the radiant flora that suronds it. Swampfolk say that the ghostthorn, a powerful herbs, draws its magical potential from the souls taken by the swamp... We'll investigate that rumour... This is a nasty drop: I believe every Nocturnian Lord should have one of these So... stop by anytime... We could have lunch

Guilds of Historica Introduction/General Discussion Thread

I think that each guild leader should at least create a thread in which they would list all the final version of MOCs for the current challenge (eg. all Nocturnus watchtowers in one thread, all Avalonian in the other...), those toppics should be closed and they should contain only photos of MOCs and maybe a link to that MOC's thread. That way it would be easier to compare and judge, and people could see easier what was done and maybe get an idea or two what could be done. -

Congratulations to you and your master for a marvellous restauration of this place... These old towers always bring so many beautiful memories. ... And as far as the trespassers are concirned, I believe a few days on a cross will teach them a good lesson in manners Going to the other guild's territory unanounced is a big no-no! Grand Warlock Gza'ar (great MOC man, tower looks quite ominous and the surrounding is also great, it realy resembles a mountain road, but can you take some photos of the top part? And maybe from other angles? Btw. gratz on your first MOC!)

I like that they tried to make something new, and I prefer Jake to Johnny as a minifigure, but overall, they should be called Adventurers too, like Fantasy era and Kingdoms were both part of the Castle theme. These Mummy style sets are great, but the thing I mostly miss from the earlier adventurers are the villains! Sure, mummies should be there as antagonists too, but I think that there should be another fraction of explorers out there. Like, they have to beat there opponents to the tomb and then they have to subdue the mummies and overcome the traps. And about the poll, Jake or Johnny... it matters little.

Looking forward to that My Lord... But alas, first of all I have to get these Firefly orcs in line. They are brutal and savage warriors, but they lack discipline in battle, and they're gonna learn it the hard way! It's better they be disintegrated by me, then by the enemy! :D At least my warlocks know what are they doing, we shall submit the spirits of this place so we could use theire power for our own means MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! -

Greetings my fellow lords! For those who are not familiar with me, I am Grand Warlock Gza'ar. You must excuse my tardiness gentlemen, for I was detained scouring the great Swamp of Moruth, searching for a good place to build our outpost, as our glorious leader instructed me several weeks ago. I must say that I have found a suitable location and that the construction is under way, but there is more... I found ruins of an ancient civilisation all across the central parts of the Swamp and they are reeking of ancient magic, powerful magic... Magic we could exploit! My warlocks are already working on some protective rituals, we, shall I say... befriended a local tribe of orcs and... persuaded them to join our cause. All in all, my troops are amassing... Some of my fellow lords promissed reinforcements, soon we shall explore some of those ruins... more thoroughly... Allow me to introduce my lieutenants: They are (from left to right) Lord Feyne, my second in command, a skilled hunter and a master swordsman; Chiftain Bruglock The Disturbed, leader of The Firefly tribe of swamp orcs; Chief-Engineer Totschreck, an excellent craftsman, who possesses a great knowledge in making machines of war; and finally Herico... my personal assistent :) As I progress, you shall be informed, GLORY TO THE NOCTURNUS!
