The whole look thing, so true. Sometimes sculptures do look better when there's a few studs showing. By the way, who here likes the brothers brick? They have some AMAZING sculptures there. They just posted a picture off a super cool building called Chateau Satan! >:-) Wow, just,wow! A few months ago they posted an amazing guitar sculpture, almost stud-less, looked a lot like a real guitar. As for the Fritos jedikermit, thanks for clarifying everuthing, I was a bit scared at first, Fritos with PB...Sounds interesting though, might give it try! X-D

Lego sculptures? :-P I believe the correct term is stud or studless, but for the purpose we will use smooth or chunky. For those of you who don't know what this means, well it means that when you build or are looking at lego MOCS, Vignettes, Sculptures and other lego stuff, do you like the studs to be visible or do you like all surfaces to be smooth? Also do you like sculptures and the other stuff to look blocky or smooth? Would you rather see a dome that looks like a real-life dome or one that looks blcoky and lego-ish? I like my studs to be visible but sometimes I dislike the blocky structure if it takes away part of the sculpture's realistic feel if thats what its going for, but sometimes a cross between thee two also looks great. On a final note, How do you like like your PB and J sandwich? Open faced or close faced? Smooth or creamy PB ;-) ? Jelly or no jelly? White or other bread type? Rectangles or triangles (how its cut)? With or without a crust? :-D

While we dwell on the subject of small "neccessary" life acessories, why don't we take a dip in the idea of (drumroll)... a CHIHUAHUA mold! :-D

Hey! I noticed something (again) Its a change in the Temple escape set. The slope at the end, it has a new pattern!Before it was all desert-like, it had some cracks and stuff and was sand colored, looks like it now has some boulders along with some vines printed (I hope) on it! *y* EDIT: Looks like we won't get a movable spike wall to impale Satipo on. :-(

I thought so too, but hey, with lego, you never know.

Did anyone else notice the wierd gray thing around Marion's neck? What could THAT be? I really wanted to get a staff and a Head Piece for the Staff of Ra, but there's nowhere to include it. :-( The hieroglyphic looks kinda like that, but without the egyptian knealing dude. It looks like the beggining of Episode 6, R2 and Threepio walking with a dune behind them.

Eeeeeeeeekkk!!!!!!!! You're right! It IS Malfoy's face! I just looked at the pic and it has the same cheekily evil smile! No new face for a Paul Freeman minifig? :'-( Also, if they use the regular smiley face on Satipo they would be throwing away a chance to give us a minifig of Alfred Molina without glasses. Also, I see that they are reusing J. Jonah Jameson's face in the Nazi driver. These pics really give us an idea of what the Indy line will relly look like.

Yup, thats exactly what I mean. X-D Anyway, I think isn't making any ToD sets because a set called "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" featuring a beautiful maiden, a short chinese kid, Indiana Jones, several demon worshipping cult memebers, child slaves, a boiling pit of lava and with a very special feature: a heart-ripping priest! Now you just press a button and he rips out someone's heart! Watch as the organ bursts into flames while he holds it! (batteries NOT included) Plus The name "Temple of Doom" makes you think of, well, doom.

Maybe because parents who haven't watched the movie (wonder if there isanyone over 25 that hasn't seen these films) might think that this set is some kind of Satanic rite related...thingy. They be like: "Oh, look a new lego has poppe up." "Whats this? There no picture!" "It says Lego Well of Souls. Goodnes gracious me! This set is EVIL!!!!!!!"

Sorry to tell you mate, but those pics are preliminary. Look at Indy's face in the Temple Escape. Notice anything? Also, look at the Nazis and at Sr. Hnery Jones. They are still the prototype versions. This pic is just a higher-def image of the protoype one we saw in the catalog that was discovered earlier in the year. The pic I have of Belloq is a prototype (looks like Lupin but without the scratches.)

Actually if your talking about the revolvers from the Adventurers sets that came with revolvers, these have a different color. If you have the batcave, take one of the guns from the penguins and compare it to the Aventurers one. You'llnotice the new revolvers are kindda of a light grey blueish color.

Heyyou guys I'm brand new. I just wanted to say what a cool board this is. I love star wars and lego, so Star Wars Lego= Heaven *sweet* Anyway, I just wanted to put in my two cents. I like the anakin head and the new hairpiece, the torsos's colors however |-/ I really hope lego stretches the clone wars line as much as they can. I really would like to see an Assajj (sp?) Ventress mini fig along with her starship. Thanks Jedikermit, and I hope that you are right, tohugh I'm quite sure we'll NEVER see the Nazi rally scene. X-D One can dream though. Now that I think a bout it though, lego made J.Jonah Jameson's moustache grey insstead of black. I wonder if the were trying to avoid Hitlerizing him. I think you might be onto something though LFADN, I'm pretty sure Lego wouldn't take such a risk.

Hi everyone. I'm new, just joined, and thought I'd introduce myself. i'm a HUGE indiana Jones fan. I bought all the films on video cassete when they were released. I bought the DVDs and the remastered versions too! I hope that they'lle release some special edition type of deal after KOTCS is released. Anyway, getting back on topic, I was wondering if Lego has anything against IJ and TLC becuase they seem to try to avoid anything that has to do with the film other than that measly but cool set they'll be releasing. I mean the guy who plays General Veers in SW ESB is the same guy who plays Walter Donovan in IJ. But when lego released his minifig they didn't make a new face print, but they re-used the AT-ST driver's face! Why? Why did Lego have to put on some dumb goggles he didn't wear in the film?! I mean do they not want us to throw it on a suit and a gray hairpiece so we have Donovan? I can understand not making various other sets like the blimp or the tank or Coronel Vogel because they all bear the nazi symbol. But why won't Lego make Dr. Schneider? I mean, they coud make a set with Marcus, Sallah, the Joneses and Elsa. Not to mention a few desert dummies and Donovan. Or they could could just make one with the grail knight, several cups, a water basin Indiana, Elsa and Walter if they didn't want to include a bloody and shot Henry. Any thoughts? On a side note, why won't Toht be minifiged? I mean sure, he is a Gestapo but lego can just call him a spy. I mean he could be included with a version of Dietrich in the race for the stolen treasure set. Also, I hope that Belloq really IS included in that set, becuase, I mean, common! We HAVE to have him in his classic white suit, not just in some jungle outfit! Anyway, its nice to have joined such a great community fille with people like me, LEGO LOVERS!!! *sweet*
