Wow that Shuttle is just absolutely incredible, I haven't been this blown away since the first pics of the UCS Falcon and AT-OT and Dropoship...It looks just like some the best MOCS out there. This looks like it will be very close to true scale and for once...FOR ONCE...I think we will be getting a shuttle with an actual BOARDING RAMP. I really hope there is an interior since even though it will most likely be considered UCS, it is a smaller hull than the MF, and even though it never appeared in the films in close detail, behind the scenes pics show it is a simple interior with simple seats. I know there was speculation about there being a possible landing ramp, which I would have loved to have seen, but for the price point, the shuttle would have had to have been much smaller. I am super happy with just the shuttle br()wnie

Wow there are some really great ideas so far- really like the idea of "beatles"esqe rocker with Sgt. Pepper's uniform Gender: Male Occupation/Print on torso: Future soldier (Gears of war) sort of like Dino Attack with stuff all over it like ammo clips and spray painted on unit number Type of Headgear: new sculpt, future military helmet with cool new visor ala gears of war Type of Facial expression: snarling, scared faced with 5 o'clock shaddow color on torso/legs: grey/grey or grey/drk grey or combos of Accessory: maybe a new gun mold that isn't too violent. But definitely futuristic body armor so we don't have to use that hard to find samurai armor any more... Gender: Female Occupation: Female Zombie to accompany male zombie from first wave type of head gear: already existing hair mold or maybe crazy hair that looks like it is standing up Facial expression: Zombie woman....crooked mouth just like first zombie color on torso/legos: print of torn blouse and skirt or pants. maybe light pink shirt and blue pants or skirt accessory: no idea, something clever that I'm not clever enough to think up Gender: Male Occupation: Superhero ( hopefully they could do more than one, ala a hulk like hero, an iron man type one, a captain america type, an insect inspried one...) type of headgear: casual male hair for hulk like one, but new helmet mold for iron man looking one, military helmet (toy story one) for captain America one Facial expression: all would be grimmacing or smiling color of torso/ leg: I don't know if Marvel or DC owns specific rights to colors, but hulk one could have purple pants and green muscle torso...cap obviously red white and blue...not sure on the legality of that accesory: everything from shield for captain america type one, maybe a trash can for hulk I'll try and think up more orginal ones later, but Lego really really needs to give us futuristic military guys, something that doesn't specifically look like anything else but looks like everything, something we can make our own... that isn't space police or star wars. New body armor accesory!!! br()wnie

I can't believe it took this long to get visors on the rebel pilots. I remember using one of my exo-force heads with the trans orange visor printed over their eyes on a rebel fig, looked great despite the anime styled face. These are really nice looking battle packs, can't wait to get a few of each br()wnie

I love these as always- only as stated before in the thread- hope there is a saw tooth attachment for the sci-fi gun, unfortunately, as is, it looks a little too far off from the original 'inspiration'. Definitely has its appeal as a generic sci-fi weapon though. I find it very interesting ( and quite welcome) that will is creeping into star wars... After Little Armory went down, and started up as that other site, I have yet to place another order with them. Brickarms have an unrivaled quality that will carry over wonderfully into star wars. Cannot wait for further weapons from that galaxy- here's to hoping for custom lightsaber hilts and clone weaponry. I know this isn't a request thread but I am really hoping that Will delves into gear- like body armor and head gear the is sci-fi generic, not directly inspired, but that would be great too- i would love to see some Gears of War suits- great stuff keep up the great work br()wnie

Absolutely beautiful! Love the exterior the most, but inside is stunning. I these modular building sets and custom ones you guys create. Wish I could afford to get one of these. Fingers crossed for a movie theatre. Once again Stunning! br()wnie

Thanks alot everyone-ricecracker that is definitely something to consider and something to consider fast. Unfortunately we will only be in Chicago for a couple of days, so I am not sure whether it will be smart for us to throw down the cash...even though I would absolutely love to. In your opinion is the sale at the Lego store worth it... does it become to over crowded? I am just trying to gauge what kind of sets they typically have and do people usually get a fair share> Thanks a bunch br()wnie

hey guys- ill be going with my girlfriend on Saturday most likely as a public attendee- I was just curious about this whole thing with local lego stores?... I believe i read some where here in the comments that they open up and have a number of sets marked down due to damages or something. I saw pictures of a massive line waiting for the store to open. Just wondering if any one knew what day this would be happening? Sorry if this has been answered before- looking forward to the event br()wnie

its official i can predict the future...or i am an amazing planner.... I live in columbus and every time I go to Easton I walk around i say to myself...or anyone that will listen " why doesn't lego put a store here...." Easton was designed by guys who worked on Down town Disney, it definitely has that vibe even thought it is central Ohio. There really are no toy stores there they will make a killing...from me and other people might help too. I hope it is a good sized store and really hope it opens within the year. I just made a purchase when i picked up the grevious on clearance...using a coupon i needed to added a couple more cents to it to get the money off, decided to do PAB... just did minifig parts (naboo fighter pilot) torso and brown legs... got the brown legs, no torsos... once had to replace the slope cone piece that is part of the 4504 millenium falcon cockpit...they sent it to me in sand green. There really is no guarantee that you will get the correct stuff...its a shame

Ah man that home 1 is great, very neat concept, I guess I was picturing something like the venator or ISD with a flip open interior, but this is a very cool little playset. This one will do amazing and Lego will see that playsets sell well ( we get the bunker, little hoth set and this) so lets hope for more The venator interior is looking kind of small- will have to wait for pics, wish the commandos had open helmets like the spartan helmets that some of them had, still look pretty cool though If we do get this new Millenium falcon we can almost be certain it will be a an Ep.VI version with lando and Nien Numb, i would love to see one about 50% bigger then the previous one, with alot of detail like the UCS but with some great interior, would be cool if it was around $200 br()wnie

ah these sets are looking better and better- 1. Ashoka's fighter is cool- glad to see we are getting more fighters- hopefully then can justify some more- maybe plo's with those white stripes down it? 2. Clone battle pack is a must- cannot wait for this- i am definitely going to pick up like 4 or 5 of these 3. The Tie is great- love the use of the original box art- very nostalgic- i just hope that in '09 we get some new OT stuff- like rancor and wampas and such that we havent gotten yet- but i like the idea of some redesigns with super detail- I am still holding out for a new Falcon with realistic interior with a $200 price point 4. The attack shuttle is cool i just dont like the fact that the front wont have the opening hatch and ramp...lego has something about including ramps on their shuttles (oh that is one i would like to see redesigned for '09 btw- the imperial shuttle) AAT looks good- larger then the original- hopefully it has some sort of interior- like the new yoda and mace- hope they keep making new figs instead of repeating obi wan and anakin i hope we will get some republic officers like Wulf Yularren (sp?) to add ranks to our armies- and some play sets would be nice br()wnie

i like the last little powerloader thing because it reminds me of just that- the powerloader from aliens...the rest is ok- i just dont understand these extreme color schemes- it would be a total buy for me if they were mostly gray with accents of the lime green or something ...

the clone battle pack looks decent- at least it will solve the shortage problem the droid bomber looks terrible- might be my first skip in a long time the AAT tank looks good- bigger then the original i thought it was supposed to come with that alien leader? my biggest gripe is the shuttle- why is TLC so against giving us boarding ramps on our shuttles- the nose of this republic shuttle is supposed to have the front boarding ramp- heck is plays a prominent role in the film- ashoka comes down the ramp and meets anakin- i was really hoping for it- and didn't get it o well the tie looks great- it would be great to see a whole line of anniversary sets that where ultra detailed and movie accurate and all OT

I would love the new Y-wing as a set- its interesting with the added plates that make is a little more arrow-like and the bubble turret might be a little difficult to do but i think it can be done. I don't know about any one else, and I know TLC has said no play sets but i really think its time to add to the playability- i mean we can get 35 different hogwarts casltes but we cant get an endor bunker or landing pad- or a decent hoth base so lets alteast get some playsets for the new series- something to pit these new AT-TE and RGS against

Hey thanks guys! you know i passed on this set originally when it was at TRU hocked up an extra $10...i feel better paying $10 for shipping for this and the droid gunship... this set might be worth it for $50 lets hope it goes through

wow- i have never been this truly amazed by a set....just amazing...even more so then the falcon...closely tho the figures are truly amazing, interesting to see that TLC is giving us a number of the same characters with multiple figs instead of extra torsos and such to make them i.e luke in stormtrooper gear...duel scene outfit...original outift etc i wont go on and say the same stuff except this it would have been great to have gotten a chromed C-3PO like the ones last year that were limited- i never got one and considering this is supposed to be the mother of all sets- and since we are getting a new R-2 it would have been nice to get a new 3PO but just a minor complaint to such a truly beautiful PLAYSET! yes playset thank you so much TLC now i just have to save a few grand to pay for all of these sets this year

Hey guys pics will be up later tonight- ill throw them in my brickshelf folder I'll go a head an do the review for set#7624 Jungle Duel This is one little fun playset. A price point right around $10, the set includes 3 figures just like the Motorcycle chase. Figures include Mutt Williams, Irina Spalko and of course the man with the whip, Mr. Indiana Jones. Firs impressions: This set is a great way to get 2 of the newest figs, including new hairdos. The total piece count runs around 90 pcs, with about 5 left over including a (pirates era) sword. The set comes with 2 already but somehow mine included 3. Swords : 2x Pirates era sword (mine however included 3) 1x golden katana (exo-force version) 1x medieval sword 2x knives The set itself has 3 little buildable additions: a tent, A breakable table w/bench and of course a sword rack. The tent is pretty strait foward, made with good old lego cloth in a real nice dark tan. Be sure to fold all creases or the sides and opening will not stay down correctly- found that out through trial and error. The table is neat with its little breakable feature, however i am slightly puzzled why they used 2x orange 1x1 pieces to hold the table together instead of say brown or black...like the rest of the table... Set also includes a little sword rack that can fit 3 swords at a time, instructions show the medieval sword, katana and one pirate sword in place. A neat little idea. Side items include old style brown box and a little camp fire. The set also includes the new spider/ants with multiple color injections. Mine are dark brown. They are considerably larger then the original spider, and a neat addition to the lego insect family. Like i said the high lights are the figs. We get another fantastic Indy, and the new Mutt haircut will become a Town must. Great to see lego adding more molds after years of the same old same old. Irina's is very...russian? what can i say the new hair cut is perfect for a russian communist villainess haircut. Bangs are strait across- its one fantastic haircut. Playability is the only downside to this set. It could keep someone occupied for about 30 seconds :). Meaning i can play with it for hours.... But really, the set gives us clues into a scene where possibly Mutt and Indy are sharing a terrific chicken leg and/or bananna (both included in set!) and good ol' Irina steps in with her sword blazing on Indy's little camp...or maybe its the other way around. After all the sword rack doesn't really seam like a necessity on an expedition into the unknown...but the bananna is a must! If i can think of anything else..I will add it with the pictures tonight results Pcs/Price Ratio- about $0.11 a piece, pretty good i guess, but considering two brand new hair cuts- ill give it 8/10 Pcs- 7/10 Detail- 6/10 Mini-figs- 10/10 Playability- 5/10 Availability- 2/10- From the sounds of this- it seems that those who can find them are lucky- these will probably be more available within the next couple of weeks hope everyone enjoyed it- let me know if there is anything else you guys would care to know or that i should correct br()wnie

Hey guys- just updated over at FBTB I picked up #7624 Jungle Duel tonight- saw all but the biggest of the sets- the temple prices where $9.98, $19.98 and $39.86 sorry for the cell phone pic like i said i got the Jungle duel- I just wanted to get the cheapest set since i picked up 5 more star wars figs tonight- I took some box shots tonight, I will try to upload them. I should find some time to build tomorrow and get a review up. what i think this is, is a direct violation of a hold date- I used to see hold dates all the time working at TRU, and if i had to guess, this indy stuff probably shouldn't be out untill next weekend or the one after that- heck might not be untill first week of may, since the movie is still a month out. I wish i could have grabbed the others, but we know how that goes. If you see them guys! grab them cus I think this was a mistake take care guys br()wnie

i pray that this boba is the cloud city version, i mean why not, its more movie acurate, and i dont have the cloud city set.. yet lol great design, a little more acurate then JFS1, but im trying to figure out what is goin on at the bottom of the entrance ramp lol, theres a gap where it looks like it should move or something, up or down not sure hope its cloud city version thats all i can say lol br()wnie

this is very odd, o hi by the way, lol i havent posted here many times, im stateside, but like comin here to find out some news lol this is very odd like i said, i mean has lego ever done this, completely change an entire line to change weapons or characters? i heard somethin about one of the first alpha teams sets resembling the 9/11 attacks but this is just strange to me, i think the weapons are pretty cool on my iron predator and urban avenger, plus lego went all out to mention they are not real live firing weapons but rather stun type weapons that shoot plasma or something like that, no more violent than any weapon on the star wars vehicles i love my sets, but the cages do give a neat appeal that i would like to have on mine, this just boggles my mind, i cant wait to see larger photos br()wnie

i think the V-Wing's price is a little odd, i mean you have to figure the ship isnt much bigger then the original JSF thats what im thinking, but maybe it comes with something extra, because it really isnt that big of a ship and Boba's Slave 1 is odd price considering it is $10 less then his dad's lol- so im not sure what to expect here br()wnie

wow this is good news, but what i would really love to see is a pack like this 1 white clone 1 Mace windu w/o light up feature 1. battle droid ( this would be hard to magnitize, but this is a nice army builder 1 clone with yellow markings 1 luminara w/o light up effect 1. super battle droid i honestly hate the light up feature, i loved my mini figs when they could just sit down with a saber poping out, and now with color tone we cant use old figs anymore.... but yeah these would be great but i read that each back is like $10? a little steep for 3 figs... what they should do is release indivudal ones like regualar clones with different color schemes for like $2 a piece, shiz you could get 5 for $10, and build an army while gliding through the loophole this creates with that hasbro problem... PLEASE LEGO!!!

well i picked up 2 new ROTS sets last night, and 20% off i heard rumors about ohio miejer's having the new sets, found some with a friend and went back the next day, picked up the walker and the tri-droid fighter, very nice, and 20% off :) wierd thing was, that over night, they sold all but one walker, which i found and all wookie catamarans, all but one arc, but still had some grevious' and the wheel droid tank. wish i could have gotten the arc, it would have been $40! i dont have a cam, so i wont be getting pics up, but the sets i picked up were great the funny thing is, that because they were having the 20% this week, ended last night, i was able to get this deal that shouldnt really have happend, since Lucas or lego isnt going to allow sales on brand new sets, and these sets arent even supposed to be out for another week and a half or so

this is ridiculous one of the t-rexs look half way decent, the helicopter has potenitial and this is where it ends can you guys rememeber just a short year ago, this is what lego looked like no violence, good colors, and yellow mini figs, lego is running around like a chicken with its head cut off " what do we do what do we do?" " i got it! we make big big vehicles, change are no war policy and make big lime green dinosaurs!" wrong, no one goes for mutant dinosaurs, can anyone actually recall a mutant dinoasaur line that ever existed or survived all i can think of is jurassic park chaos theory or what ever where the dinosaurs were all hybrids and lime green and junk if lego decided to drop "no violence" they should do a WWII theme in honor of our veterans or something These color shemes are very reminescent of old mega bloks, but the big t-rex does have potential here are some ideas that i , and many other lego goers share 1. ADVENTURES- Atlantis- we have mer-people from upcoming hp sets, so that would work, make a coral look, a little building or castle and make submarines like the ones in disney's atlantis that look like they are made out of steel and copper 2. a new Dinosaur Adventures theme, returning to the dino island, have new dinosaurs, correct scale to minifigs, with moveable parts and make better propeller planes, like the canceled one we saw. 3. last resort, fix this line, drastically, i mean drastically, the only good thing here is neat mini-fig torsos and a potential good sized t-rex, change color schemes on both the dinosaurs, (browns, dark greens etc.) and on the vehicles like dark grey and light greys and maybe yellows or red highlights- downsize the hummer and helicopter and it might look better, maybe like a compound too does any body know if TLC has the JP licence any more- there could be some interest there ok im done- still think the hungarian horntail head would look good as a rex
