Do you have any news about sets for 2013? I know Spongebob isn't the best or most succesful, but I do really enjoy seeing these sets pop up, like 'the theme that could!' and because I still want a Pearl and Barnacle Boy and Mermaid Man....

I really love these! They are so creative and cute! I would defenitely buy real sets based off these vigs.

As Spider-Man said earlier, I am totally happy with getting sets based off of Ultimate Spider-Man. I mean, so far, aside from Doc Oc, all the figs from that show look pretty much exactly like there comic counterparts, so I think it's a pretty easy way to get these more obscure characters! And I might be by myself in saying this, but I could care less about DKR sets. Perhaps, if the set that Gordon comes in is cheap, I might get it. But other than the Gordon fig I personally see no reason to buy any DKR sets, IMO.

I know everyone's all excited about next years sets, but we still have to worry about THIS years sets! So does anyone know if the summer wave (Gungan Sub, Jabba's Palace, etc.) are available in actual stores in the US yet? Can someone please post the most recent Rancor pics here? Flickr isn't working on my iPad and I would really like to see them up close. And that was all that was revealed today?! Uck!

Venom and Aquaman for mwah. Venom, because, well duh, he looks amazing! But Nova is a close second! And Aquaman because even though he's not my favorite hero, that is one step closer to completing my JL (just Green Lantern, Flash, Hawkman and Martian Manhunter!) and because he's the only DC character besides Gordon that isn't just a re-modeled re-hash. Although I do really love Freeze and Scarecrow.

Lego confirmed that that exclusive fig was NOT Venom, but actually acknowledged that it was Black-suited Spidey.

Personally I'd be OK with that!

Guess what! The DKR sets are coming out whether you like it or not! Lego did sets based off of the final HP, which was pretty dark, RotS in Star Wars, which has very dark scenes... Can we please stop debating on whether or not these are appropriate? If you don't like it, don't buy them! Anyway, I'm sure we will see some X-Men someday soon, as it was in the official press release. And I hope we get some other DCvillains (not just Batman's foes) but Cheetah, Black Manta, Grodd, Brainiac, Grundy, Killer Frost, Toyman, Evil Star.....

That. Would be. Amazing. Overall, (since that should be all of the pics, I can give my final judgement ) I'm really looking forward to the sets with Doom, JJJ, Nova, Venom, Human Fly(?), and of course Fury. I have to admit, I'm a little sad we didn't get any NEW DC villains, I was really expecting a Man-Bat and perhaps Clayface. But, the awesome new designs of Freeze, Scarecrow and Penguin can satisfy my hunger for DC villains for a little while. Now, I still am not that really interested in a DKR set, other than Gordon so if it is cheap, I might get a set with him. But overall I just don't get why people want DKR sets so badly. And lastly, that Aquaman! Lordy! I was expecting maybe some other JLA members (Green Lantern, Flash, Cyborg....?) but Aquaman is pretty awesome. And where's the X-Men?

I understand that ManBat has he wings attached to his arms, I am simply saying that in my opinion I would rather have a fig that looks like the videogame counterpart instead of the wings attached to the arms.

Yes, but I am thinking from a TOY point of view. How are you supposed to 'play' Man-Bat VS Batman when one's arms are stuck up in the air? And also, they did it in the videogame, and I rather liked how it looked there. I know, that's not how Man-Bat actually looks, I'm just saying that's how I would prefer him. Although, at the end of the day, beggers cannot be choosers.

Ok, with all the recent bat stuff out (Series 8 Minifigs, Vampyre Castle set) I'm going to be very mad if we don't get a Man-Bat today. Although, unlike the S8 Bat, I'm hoping his wings will be attached to his back, not his arms....

First thoughts: !!!!! WOW! And you guys thought the DJ sounded lame!! My first thought at looking at the Bavarian boy: 'Oh my God, he comes with a f'in pretzel!!!!!! So anyway, my must haves are: the Bat Creature, the Fairy, the Thespian, the Cowgirl, the Bavarian Boy and the Alien. And Santa. And the Diver. And.....

Thank you everyone for answering my question. Well, I am so happy with the Rancor, because I was really worried it would be brick-built, which I didn't really want, and seeing it not-brick-built makes me so happy!!

Dear Lord, please let this be true. And, if it's not too much to ask, could we get a Man Bat and/or Clayface?
