Lego themes that we would like to happen
TristanJones replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would really want to see LEGO go into the SW Expanded Universe. Most notably KOTOR, the EBON HAWK is just begging to be made. There are a plethora of ships that can be made as well as characters. What would really win me over is BSG-nu or classic--granted the argument that it is too violent or not for kids---Im sorry, have you seen what is in the movies of late? BSG is mild compared to some of the current tv/cinema shows out there. I think LEGO is just sewn up with SW and another brick company that doesn't mind that adult fans are into mature scifi, I can see MB picking up the license. If they treat it as well as CALL OF DUTY and HALO, they will be a force to be reckoned with. I love LEGO, but I would like to see LEGO start going for an adult themed line. Walking Dead, Call of Duty, Halo I-IV are pretty kickarse, Thunderbirds and a Gerry Anderson line....I'm all in.- 451 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
TristanJones replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Apparently Kylo Ren;s shuttle, the wings only slide up and down. Pity that. Its about as boring as boring gets. This is one set Ill pass on. The speeder I like, looks very detailed. As for the Falcon, even with the slight mods, it still has the abundance of characters. The new X-wing--a must. Wonder if it will come in other colors? -
Very impressed, one of the best classic vipers I have seen to date. Well done.

Has anyone tried making the ships from this movie? A lot of model images are starting to surface. Over at LEGOIDEAS.COM, a gentleman has made a 511 piece ENDURANCE space craft--quite ingenious. I would love to see if anyone has tried to accomplish a minifig scale RANGER, LANDER and ENDURANCE. Has anyone tried or started?

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
TristanJones replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I had no idea I posted it twice, my apologies. Yes, Expanded Universe I guess would be the appropriate term. Thank you all for straightening that out, sorry if it sounded confusing. I meant it more to include KOTOR withing the Lego SW Universe. There have been some really great Ebon Hawks on brickshelf.com I would just really love to see that one set alone but I know it would run a bit. Im sure a KOTOR fighter would be a nice welcome, perhaps even just some 3 packs of figures. -
Latest updates on LEGO set sales
TristanJones replied to gylman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
TRU has a great sale going on, the MF is 112.49 as well as the SW Frigate is 97.49 and a bunch of other stuff on sale, what else is cool is the free LEGO gift a bionicle figure, or a ninjago set, or LEGO FIGURE CASE (almost every tru is out--15$ value) or the SOFT SW MF CARRY CASE. Just a heads up to save some money. Im actually returning my MF to walmart and even tho they will match it, they wont give out the extra gift. -
F.A.B. INDEED, that line would kick megablocks. Im still hoping one day for SPACE:1999 Eagle One.

TristanJones replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Does anyone think the STAR WARS UNIVERSE could be expanded a bit more to include KOTOR--that EBON HAWK would make a good counterpart to the MF as well as a Sith Fighter and other ships, also a broadening of the SW Universe for those of us that love the genre of KOTOR. -
Granted the STAR WARS AND CLONE WARS UNIVERSE is getting bigger by day. I am wondering if TLG ever thought of making the EBON HAWK and the characters and vehicles of the KOTOR UNIVERSE.

Just picked up the new MF set, I own the original, the version 2.0 and the BMF lego set. My dream is to make the HOTH HANGAR just like one of the guys did on the MOCpages.

Greetings everyone here at Eurobricks, I finally got more time to visit this incredible forum. I posted a few times but I wanted to say Hello and go about it a bit more properly. Im a dad with 2 girls and they love LEGO, we are fortunate enough to have a store nearby and we have family in Florida so we can skip Disney and hit LEGOLAND on the East coast. Im a big fan of scifi, old and new, especially of BSG--old and new, SPACE:1999, 2001:A SPACE ODYSSEY, FIREFLY/Serenity, SPACE:ABOVE AND BEYOND, STARSHIP TROOPERS/STS ROUGHNECKS, SW/CW-especially old trilogy, but then who doesnt? Hope to add to the variety of characters here. Thank you.

Considering that SW has really been a great boon for LEGO, one would think other SCIFI licenses would work as well. Granted, 1 to 3 sets per license would really all that is needed, if the license shows promise, bring forth more sets. TOS BSG-CLASSIC COLONIAL VIPER, CLASSIC CYLON RAIDER TOS BSG-MINIs-Battlestar Galactica, rag tag fleet--colonial movers, astral queen etc TOS BSG UCS---Classic Viper, B. GALACTICA Proposed continuing sets---Landram and GAL 356 and Hangar deck w/launch tube TNG BSG---MK II, MK VII, Cylon Raider TNG BSG Minis--BSG, BS PEGASUS, Rag Tag Fleet--Colonial Movers, Celestra, Colonial One, Ring Ship etc TNG BSG UCS--BS GALACTICA, Cylon BaseStar Proposed continuing sets--STEALTH STAR, Laura Viper, Cylon HEAVY RAIDER, Hangar deck, Raptor Buck Rogers in the 25th Century BR25C--Thunderfighter, Draconian fighter 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea UCS-NAUTILUS The Adventures of Jules Verne Basically, an interpretation of his classics with some steampunk thrown in. 2001:A SPACE ODSSEY UCS-USS DISCOVERY UCS-USS LEONOV PROBE w/dave AND Monolith. Orion transport Moon bus Aries 1B Note new helmets would reflect 2001 theme.

Battlestar Galactica Legos--Will we ever see them?
TristanJones replied to TristanJones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Actually Fred, I did look around and did not see anything related to the BSG theme only thread. You shouldnt assume I didnt look. I know there are dream licenses, but my post specifically points to BSG and why, if for any reason, Lego doesnt pick up the license, possible contract violation with SW maybe? I dont know, so I figured I would ask. Obviously SW has done well for LEGO, Mega Bloks has Halo and is doing quite well, coming out with bigger sets and there are only video games to back them up. BSG has had a cult following since the 1970s when it came out. LEGO could do both TOS BSG and TNS BSG, allowing for fans from both camps to enjoy. One shots or limited sets would also be an interesting idea in investigate. MK I-original MK II MK VII TOS SHUTTLE-GAL 356 LANDRAM DECK CREW AND SUPPORT VEHICLES. HANGAR DECK-CONNECTING DIO SET LAUNCH TUBE-CONNECTING DIO SET HANGAR LANDING SECTION--CONNECTING DIO SET GALACTICA 1980 Motorcycle w/figure I understand folks not caring for a post on yet another BSG, but I did use eurobrick's search and after going thru about 5 pages worth of threads, I did not see any related to the info that I wanted. I dont like it when people repeat themes either, but usually if its a low post count, I let it slide, because really its no big deal. If you dont like my thread or my topic, then feel free to ignore it. Im a fan of Lego and BSG, heard this was a nice community. Figured I would start with something people know and enjoy. -
Why doesn't Lego tap BSG for a license. Is there something about having other scifi themes? They have had Aliens, Dinos and what not, Is LEGO to be only exclusively SW? Even with one shots like a classic viper and a MK II or MK VII viper, the sets would undoubted do well. I miss the smaller one vehicle with two characters--pilot and ground crew guy w/accessories. LEGO could even do a large GALACTICA with a RAG TAG FLEET. Will LEGO ever pursue this license?
