Unfortunately for me..lego's 50th means the death of the train theme. The loss of Pirates..the continued downward trend of quality. the horrible new colours and the selling out of the company. Lego insists they stick by their quality..if so why would their be rubber wigs that don't stick..multiple tones of the new dark bley..I had 3 tones in one set. the constant missing parts in sets.instructions with mistakes. Lego designers really are lacking in imagination these days..everything is a simplified rehash of an earlier set.with 1-2 exceptions Ohwell may lego return to it's former glory days and stop copying playmobile airport sets. :D

Atleast train series has been ruined.that should save some money. :-D

Nice figures.The Joker looks awesome.Well most of them do ..killer Croc looks abit dorky but ohwell. That Two face hairpiece looks interesting Really nice vehicles for batman. Wouldnt mind a Wayne manor even a facade though. NO buildings unfortunately. But still I like what I see...and hope to get all the figures. :D

The New planes look alright but I will agree that the landing gear lets them down.I think the new nose pieces are great as you could use them for high speed trains. The Airport building..not too bad but really needs a flight departure landing board. A runway would be just common sense as the planes don't look like jump jets. Also I don't think it would be that profitable having an airport with 2 seats.Come on be optimistic the airlines are making a comeback. I would like this set and the larger plane ..wonder when they will be on S&H in non american countries. (least it aint as bad as the hospital.I would hate to roll wheel chairs up that steep ramp or the stairs.) *viki* <--cool

Castle series died a few years ago.I really doub't we will ever see it return to a decent theme. Bring Back the Lion Knights ,Black Falcons ,Forest people. I have nieces and nephews who come over as i have a lego store .So i have alot of lego ..they all want my older classic sets.My nephew said "I don't like the rainbow men" CASTLE IS DEAD!. I know it sounds like blasphemy but seriously..since the Royal Knights..It has gone down hill . Castle was successful why change it. Lego has only done badly since it changed everything simplified it and basically stifled kids imaginations. Also that aside 90% of my webstores customers are adult collectors.I think Lego is still ignoring AFOLS. Most of my customers are over 25 and some are even into their 50s RIP CASTLE series. :^D Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do about it. Sure Lego might release a few legends on Shop at home. They will sell out because they are far better than what lego produces now ..but at the end of the day the people who work at Lego are far too thick to learn and revive lego. I turnover 10K a month on lego and perhaps 5% if that is current lego as my customers do not want what lego makes these days. Anyway I don't like the new sets from what I can see . Grab hoard buy as much old classics as you can get your hands on and leave it at that. Miracles do not happen

Not bad at all..although the skids on the helicopter grr..Looks like an attempt to get back into decent ships. I Hope I can get this one.

Seriously a huge dissapointment.melt them(the hospitals down) make some classic castle. Injured people would enjoy climbing the stairs.(not) maybe a few parts in this set but thats about it. another dissapointment by a company that is desperate to get out of financial trouble. HELLO Go back to the good stuff.early 80's to early 90s *sick*

I think the ambulance looks like the fire engine from 2005. Lego says "just imagine" but I think their designers are highly lacking in that area.

just not sure about batmans face it looks deformed?3d?megablocky?

bad news..I spoke to Lego Nz and they told me it is now not going to be out until September over here.and it is going to be only available at one store chain. It was going to be out earlier but supply problems.(or the lego rep I spoke to was just spinning rumours) I must say Im not impressed.Apologies.

Hello Assasin,Wellington is a great city.Ive spent alot of time partying there.New Zealand is a hole..new smoking laws have killed all the nightlife everywhere.

a lego rep told me today that viking stores are going to be in stores in the next week or so.pre launch .not in August as I heard. thats what I heard today anyway.

I spoke to a lego rep today and supposedly the dino attack is in toyworld stores here in New Zealand now if not in the next week or two.

Sounds as bad as alpha team is.Unless there are some good city parts in these sets. Not all kids want to blow up destroy and have giant monsters. ohwell what can we do but wait and see

mm city really needs more than construction fire and police sets.I agree..farms would be cool or some factories..so many possibilities yet such a narrowly targeted theme. there are only so many police fireman and construction workers you can fit into a town. out of my cities thousand strong population a third would be fitting into the above categories.but for up and coming lego fans that would be 90 % to 100% as there just isnt anything else.

What was thought to be a bumper crop has been devastated by over tweaking. No beareds in the vikings..too much bionicle garbage.the faces look really bad from what i can see. Just wondering why the harry potter ship has a black falcon sheild?but hey who expected harry potter to suddenly be a good series after several years of garbage.must admit though stripping them for parts if discounted enough is fine. I must get the new city crane and diggers though they look nice. SAND CRAWLER need that Death star..sounds abit expensive but I want to see that. hope they release a castle legend again sometime soon. anyway blah blah etc i could go on for hours

The Imperial inspection is now on the New Zealand S&H ..but over priced..as the set is $49.99 on US S&H..it is $119 on the NZ one but $71US =$100NZ. wonder why sales are so low here when everything is so overpriced?They are all shipped from Denmark.and wouldnt make sense that it cost more to ship Denmark made sets to the US warehouse and then to the customers..than directly from Denmark to NZ via S&H. Growls.....

Just one thing....Where is the pilot for the shuttle?maybe it has artificial intelligence? otherwise I still need that set!

If only lego would bring back classic castle to compliment vikings (give them somone to attack) that would be great. Although more than one idea might be stretching it.
