MattZitron replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I am going to have an army of Manbats. -
I'd kill for that Bizarro.

Shots of the SDCC Lego stand: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/07/11/first-look-at-dc-and-marvel-lego-at-san-diego-comic-con/ Also, to be a complete nerd but depending on the Bizarro he's not the clone. He's from an alternate opposite Earth called Bizarro world.

Love these figures. What makes me smile is that Bofur can be customised into James Nesbitt's (he plays Bofur, fairly famous in the UK) character from Murphy's Law And of course we can make a custom John Watson as well!

Ok gang, Just an update. I'm trying to complete as many sets as possible. The Archer and Boxer are the hardest to get. Followed by the gymnast. Going today to try and get more.

Not a professional. SHe's just that good. She only decided to do it that morning as well. No pre-planning.

So today I turned 29 and my sister suprised me with this incredible Monster Fighters cake. How fantastic is that? She only decided to do it that morning!

Hey I can get the GB figures. Just PM me. I noticed someone said they'd swap for SDCC Lego. I'd be interested in that, but I can just pick them up. Bought 2 today (plan on getting boxes). I already have a spare swimmer.

That GL Lantern is a work of genius.

Custom Monster Fighters
MattZitron replied to Writers Blocks's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Love them. They're so perfect I'll have to make my own. My sister also loves the show, I'll have to make her a Dean. Jim Beaver (Bobby) is on Facebook alot. Post it for him to see. -
I'd love the figure, but the money is too much.
-
No great loss there!
-
This may have been talked about already BUT.... With the Green Lantern film not doing that well, do you guys think we'll ever see a GL set? I know there was a promo but I don't have a spare £90!!!
-
This is insanely cool. I'd buy this set. PLEASE release a parts list so we can all make one!
-
I was an idiot and didn't realise this was timed. BUT I emailled TLC the day after it ended and they let me place an order and get a Hulk. If cruddy Home Delivery Network manages to deliver my parcel I'll have it today or tomorrow!

Hello All, Not sure people remember me but years ago I posted all the time on here. Been a member for 7 years in fact! Just getting back into the swing now (mainly because I've been sick from work for 3 weeks and Lego is about all I can manage!) I'm now back living in London where I live with me wife (Married in 2009) and my son (born Feb 2011!) He's of course too little for proper Lego but we have a MASSIVE pile of Duplo sets for him for a few months time (he has the big Winnie the Pooh set and enjoys smashing it up more at the moment.) I've mainly been brought back by the new Superhero sets, but Monster Fighters has really peaked my interest. Really enjoying Ninjago as well. Have a new MOC to share, will maybe post tomorrow. Is there still a Members MOC page? Hope some of the old gang are still around. Best Matt

Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes is the latest Avengers cartoon and it is superb. Essentially what they've done is taken all the really good Marvel events from the comics' whole history and distill it into one cartoon. They're also not afraid to bring in guest stars like the Fantastic Four. I would LOVE sets from this. Then we could get a Black Panther figure. Or even better an Ultron or Kang the Conquerer. I don't know if anyone's said on here but the Ultimate Spider-Man TV show is also quite good! Am over the moon we're getting an Iron Fist minifigure. Never dreamed we'd get one. AND one question. The Thor promo figure, how will it be released? I'm desperate for a third Thor torso for an MOC (making Beta Ray Bill and Thunderstrike!)

Vote for your favourite Category B entries
MattZitron replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Honestly I wanted to vote for everything. These are without exception astoundly good. Here are the three that stood out: 2) The ski jump in Holmenkollen in Oslo (Sleepyhead) Entry (Build by Cecilie) - 1 point 4) Finishing Touches (Lady Liberty) Entry (Build by Darkblane) - 1 point 13) Outpost Raid (Intergalactic Girl) Entry (Build by Oky) - 1 point -

So many fanatastic pieces. My votes go to: 16) Minotaur Entry (Build by Kumpelkante) - 1 point 30) Alien Entry (Build by Oky) - 1 point 31) Sleepyhead Entry (Build by watersnap) - 1 point -
Of course the space around the equator could be the Death Star Trench!

Hey guys, Very long time since I've been on. But I sent this off last night (and made sure Eurobricks got the credit) http://www.bleedingcool.com/2011/07/20/nerd-worlds-collide-lego-announces-dc-and-marvel-licenses/

You guys rock!

I'm sure you guys have heard about the new Doctor Who building sets. Well they've released pics. I'm torn. On the one hand, I love Lego. I don't like other brick brands. But on the other, theses sets look great. And I LOVE Doctor Who. And all 11 Doctors in micro figure (Character avoiding lawsuits) form. It's almost a childhood dream come true (Offical Lego Who being the dream.) Please tell me I'm not a monster!!
