I forgot to say that the money (and the megablocking long wait) was totally worth it for the Longboat. It was fun to make, and looks fantastic.

Yoda is king. And very correct. The dead giveaway at the name is that in Football the majority of the game is played by kicking the ball, not running with it.

I loved Rock Raiders and Aquanauts. The latter I can't really see as failling seeing as it went through 3 different generations. I think Basketball, seeing as it is the worlds hardest game. My fingers never got a ball in. What about Hockey? Did that do anything?

I'm hoping Woolies or somewhere stock these. I could use a couple of those Vladek walls. Anyone seen them about?

Why do LEGO toys have value to you? Consistantly for years I have returned to Lego, and they without fail have entertained me, and helped me think and relax no matter what my life is doing. Also Lego, as aposed to other toy brands has amazing playability. If I would buy one action figure, thats all I had to play with. Whereas a Lego set I get two things to use, one set is a game without fail. What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money? The design and scale of the pieces, and sets have always appealed to me. I started using Lego, when there wasn't such things as megablocks, and that style of block building has never appealed to me. I like how Lego even down to the Minifig can be fully customised. In what way has the LEGO brand let you down? I think the piece count has lowered, along with the amount of minifigs available. Also I feel the prices have risen too much. A prime example is the terribly overpriced Factory sets. A great idea, but produced badly. Also the Jack Stone sets replacing Pirates!! Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved? The latest range of sets are fantastic, along with the design of minifigs. I also am very fond of the designer sets. What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years? Original Pirates, I'm not a fan of the Jack Stone style sets. Minifigs are a time tested favourite. Lego Space, I'm a huge StarWars fan but I'd love to see a return of Blacktron, M-Tron and Space Police. Minifig packs. I used to love being able to buy a box of minifigs. More Minifigs within sets, while not driving the prices up too high. The Viking Longboat in my opinion, had a fair price tag and amount of Minifigs. Lego Club Discount. I think they should produce more smaller and medium sized sets for each range. Its seems now there are too many large expensive sets when something comes out. What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets? Without a doubt price. Lego is very expensive. Also accessability. Not alot of stores have a good selection. And Shop at Home is too costly. What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets? If Lego offered the range that the Second hand market does, plain and simple. I can go onto Bricklink and order to my needs from Minifigs to instructions. Also the second hand market allows me to purchase older sets. What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company? The first step is being made here. Listen to your market. But try and remain inexpensive, while also giving us toys with playabilty that is unserpassed. What are your home country, first name and age? I have to say I don't mind the stickered shields. Its designed so the sticker is super easy to put on (I have alot of trouble with Stickers). And they look good.

FINALLY got my longboat. Great set, BUT did anyone else find that the horns on the Midgard Serpant were a little loose? I had to take the 2 red ones from its neck out, because they kept falling out.

Even though its not TECHNICALLY a castle, I just got the Dragon Fortress and was really impressed. It looks great, and actually uses the baseplate really well. I just love those steps at the front.

Can I just defend the "tank". If you watch toho Monster movies (Godzilla and the like) some of the anti-monster tanks look alot like that. I like them. Still bemused by the no guns. Europeans may not be a gung-ho about weaponry as Americans, but still I think its unnessary.
