Did you see the JLU episode with Batman Beyond as an adult?? It was fantastic. I saw one where Batman and the other guys were stuck in a rift... and the black Green Lantern momentarily gets switched with the white Green Lantern. X D That was a priceless way to sneak in old characters. But nope, missed the Batman Beyond adult one. Dammit. It was FANTASTIC. It showed an interesting way that Batman Beyond is tied to JLU, and you found out why its called Batman Beyond. Episode guide here.

Okay, sorry, I know this is a bit off-topic for a Lego forum, but I have to respond to this statement. I'm an animator, so statements like this get to me. Saying anime is overrated is like saying "movies are overrated" or "books are overrated." Anime is a medium, not a genre. There is a tremendous bulk of anime out there, some good, some bad, some great, some terrible. I'm not sure where Avatar falls in that continuum, I've only seen 1/2 of one episode. But please don't dismiss the entire anime world so casually. Also, to folks saying that Avatar is "fake" anime because it is done in the U.S., that's doing a disservice to the animation industry in general. Art influences art, and as long as it's not outright stealing ideas or selling itself as being from Japan (which it may be doing, I don't know) I don't think it's fair to automatically dismiss it as some sort of imposter. Okay, sorry, stepping down off my soap box now. :$ And I promise to only talk about lego in my next few posts! Beat me to that. Anime is overrated is a truly stupid statement. Anyway the sets could be great. And SuvieD that's a boomerang, and I don't think its transparent! :(

Right so I've watched the first 3 episodes. It seems a given that one set will feature the flying Bison Apa. The characters ride on him. He's pretty big. I'm hoping that Lego Brick build him, and don't go the dewback route. As he's considerably bigger. Above pic from this site.

Ok, I like the sets. I think for $5 one minifig is ok as long as there are alot of parts. If you can get 2 in, they'd sell better. Instructions might be nice, especially the cool space and castle sets. The miniprobe set, could be X-Pod like. As for part condition, as long as they aren't completely ruined you should be ok. I think if you use whites, faded/yellowing parts are a no-no. But as long as they're free of teeth marks, and look ok, you'll be fine.

I don't take his first time out as being much of an excuse. He's got to fight crime, and in the film he doesn't want to just go after heavys he wants to stop bosses. And seeing as he doesn't kill, the only way is to get evidence on the Villains to put them away. It just didn't ring true to me. Yeah, they'll develop it. But they left a gapping hole in the character. There were bits in the film where Alfred did the work for him, and it made old Bats look like a moron. That and Bale's Bat-Voice was a bit off. The best media (IE: Non comics) version of Bats has to be the Cartoon. He's dark, a detective and he does ninja tricks.

The license is going to last past 2008. So we'll see Hoth definately!

Yeah but in BB he's no more than a heavy. He doesn't do any detective work at all. Which is the staple of Batman.
