The Batman

Greetings people from eurobricks and beyond, I suppose I'd better write something in here to give people a better idea of who I am !!!

Well, on Eurobricks I go by the name of 'The Batman', however my real name is (get ready)(drum roll).......Conor, yes my name is Conor, not terribly exciting but im stuck with it !!!

Now on to the interesting bit LEGO !!!! I got my first Lego set when I was about 4 or 5, and I fell in love with Lego, Christmas after Christmas, I would wake up to maybe 3 or 4 lego sets, and my Grandmother would then visit on Christmas Day with probaly another 2,.... Those were the days This continued up until I was about 10, and then it happenend, the Dreaded 'dark ages' These 'dark ages' lasted for about 7 years, 7 years without Lego seemes like an enternity, but I was more preocupied with thinking Lego was childish and letting my hormonal youth get the better of me, chasing after girls and what have you !! Ahem

I rediscovered Lego about a year ago after something told me just to see what was new in world of Lego, not sure why !!! After looking, I thought "Nothing new here", but I discovered a video on the Internet, It was titled something like 'AFOL - A BLOC-umentry' don't quote me on that, after watching the video, I just sat back from my computer monitor and thought 'WOW' and I wanted more, alas there was no more !!! The fantastic thing about the video was my discovery of AFOL'S, before the video I never knew that adult's built with Lego, so soon after that Google was brought up in the window, and I searched like a madman for sites relating to AFOL's and bingo I found Eurobricks, this was the single most important discovery for me, ever-since my mother told me I used the word bakka bakka for water ..... ahem after a long period of lurking, checking out great MOC's and news for Lego, I soon rekindled my love for Lego, all thanks to Everyone here at EB.

So here I am today sitting in my Living room at 11.15 in the morning eating some toast and what is now cold tea thanks to this ridiculously long piece about myself, guess I'll have to make a new one !!! As I write this, Christmas is 2 months away, and this will be the first Christmas I will be recieving Lego for Christmas, so I'm really excited !!!

Now on to more less Lego related news about me, as I have stated my name is Conor, I have one younger brother, but he really dosen't share the same interest of lego with me, guess more Lego for me I live in Ireland and It always rains and its bloody Freezing in the Winter !!

I enjoy listing to music, It's mostly old music I listing to like, Sinatra, Chuck Berry, Presley, Dean Martin etc. My mum always teases me about the music I listin to

Movies, ahhhh who dosen't love a good movie, my favorite are probably the Batman films, Ace Ventura, Rush Hour films, just Good comedy's and action Films. As with Tv its pretty much the same, Big Bang Theroy, How I Met Your Mother, Family guy and many more....

Well I think this has gone on long enough, so now it's time to go and make that new cup of tea, I mentioned ...... So to anyone who sat and read all this, thanks for taking an Interest In this short summary of myself !!! Thank you
