Hello everyone!
I’d like to share my latest MOC with you – a 3D Relief Map of Slovenia, built from 2,404 bricks.
My main goal was to accurately capture the diverse geography of Slovenia, from the Alpine peaks in the northwest to the Adriatic coastline and the eastern plains, while integrating microscale versions of iconic landmarks into the terrain.
Some of the micro-builds featured on the map include:
Lake Bled with the island church
Dragon Bridge (Ljubljana)
Postojna Cave
The coastal town of Piran
Holy Trinity Church in Hrastovlje
The Old Vine in Maribor (the oldest grapevine in the world)
Traditional Slovenian hayrack (Kozolec)
Designing the relief was a fun challenge, balancing the elevation changes with a clean, sturdy structure that works well both as a display piece and a geographical showcase.
