I have designed a physical prototype for a compact, cyberpunk-style vehicle with a unique, multi-mode inversion and play feature. The model blends a Technic structural core with System pieces for armor and detailing. It can run in its base mode, flip upside down into an alternate driving profile, or stand vertically.
The Challenges: While the concept and play features are solid, the physical build requires expert optimization before it's ready for any official platform submissions:
Chassis/Foundation Imbalance: There is a slight geometric calculation issue where the rear wheels sit slightly higher than the front wheels. The axle math needs to be normalized so the vehicle sits completely flush.
Internal Simplification: The core frame needs to be hollowed out and streamlined to reduce unnecessary part density and make the build intuitive.
The Role & Duties Required: I am looking for a dedicated co-creator who can take my fully assembled physical prototype and execute the following:
Physical Deconstruction & Analysis: Receive the completed physical model, reverse-engineer my current build logic, and identify stress points.
Chassis & Geometry Optimization: Correct the foundation imbalance to ensure a completely flush, aligned ride height.
Structural Streamlining: Hollow out the dense interior and simplify the Technic frame to optimize the part count and make assembly intuitive for consumers.
Digital Modeling & Manual Production: Recreate the finalized, optimized vehicle in BrickLink Studio and generate a professional, step-by-step PDF instruction manual.
Platform Submission Readiness: Assist in prepping high-quality digital renders and text descriptions for formal submission to platforms like LEGO Ideas or the BrickLink Designer Program.
The Partnership Deal: I am looking for a talented digital builder to take this on as a true co-founder. To give you the best possible starting point, I will safely pack and ship the entire completed physical build straight to your door at no cost to you. You will have the actual physical model in your hands to interact with, test, and deconstruct.
In exchange for these duties, we will sign a clear agreement securing a 50/50 split on all future revenues—whether that means joint authorship on official LEGO submissions (where co-creators are explicitly supported) or splitting the digital sales of the instructions on Rebrickable. You will receive equal billing as a co-creator across all platforms and manuals.
