Love your designs! Well detailed and I like how you used the hut to hide the motor. The decoupler mechanism looks slightly different to Camel's version, what did you change? Also have you thought of building mechanisms to electrify train level crossings, switch tracks, traffic signals? There could be some mechanism that detects a passing train to trigger one of these features, the PF catalog has a switch which could be used for it. All motorised with Power Functions to keep the physical/tactile control of a train layout, similar to the 12v system. The PF catalog also has lights which could somehow be used for a traffic signal.
