We all need a vacation in Italy – my “Mediterranean Street Scene”
The former fishing village of “Burano” is one of the most beautiful attractions in the Venetian Lagoon of Italy. In my opinion, it’s even lovelier than Venice itself. Every time I visit, I am enchanted by its cheerful charm and its many brightly colored houses.
My vision was to combine a colorful Mediterranean-style canal street with a fun and lively minifigure scene - one that reflects the bustling and vibrant vacation experience of a tourist. At the same time, the design of the build was intended to offer many creative display options.
