  1. :O Rufus, But where are your stats?
  2. No! A bard is always a rogue-like character, if it isnt, its stupid! *rant over* I can imagine some good ideas for a bard class tbh, it could be a support-like class, being able to buff, in a similair fashion as the Berserker, and one of its Job traits could be Diplomacy, not to mention being able to fight with an instrument!
  3. And that reminds me, would it be a good idea to limit the amount of times someone can change his or her advanced class, either with it costing gold, or something else?
  4. I don't think this is an issue, since gems can be used by all classes, only some mage based classes more so than others...
  5. Thank you all for your comments, they are very helpful!
  6. That, and his amazing flexible arms!
  7. A book?! What is this madness?
  8. I shall withdraw Ignacio from the games, so Haltiamieli's champions can play, seems only fair .
  9. Quest 20 is going to turn into a soap.
  10. Username MDM, do you think Quest 20 will speed up a bit? It has been going pretty slow... often taking 48 hours for the next thing to happen. Guts is getting restless, if he doesn't find a helpless npc enemy to punch in the face, he might go crazy .
  11. What do you count as epic? Pretty sure most male characters dont have a love interest... Your character is 17, and in love with a pregnant girl? some mtv stuff going on there.. @ Tamamono If I am not mistaken quest 18 is close to finishing up, and Ive stated my quest will not start until the end of February, so there is still some time, don't worry .
  12. Thank you, the bottom plates were done so because I didn't think it would matter, but yeah, its something I will do differently on my next MOC, And I will definitely use fewer colours next time .
  13. Yeah, I got a Neutral Evil score on that, not sure what to think about that I did get human rogue though, so that part is right, at least! I joined heroica because I was browsing someone's flickr when I saw a Heroica character, a little research later led me to join!
  14. Here s hoping he has long wavy hair, it would fit!
  15. Thanks, and: Yes, they were some raiders that thought the embassy was an easy target, they are sorry now .
  16. Thank you! In hindsight, I think I would have used two or one colours less for the main building, but I didn't have enough, or it would be a very gray building .

  18. My Lord Dextrus Flagg, I write this to you, to tell you about the Embassy we constructed in the lands of Nocturnus, As you know, Nocturnus is a twisted and hostile place, the landscape made with swamps, desolate plains. rugged mountains and fiery lakes of lava. Common sense made us believe that the Marshlands were the least dangerous of these, but we were wrong, so wrong. For the marshlands are in the eastern part of Nocturnus, which means that our caravans have to travel far, to reach these lands. Although there is supposedly peace, the roads are filled with dangers. Our caravans have had to endure twisted bandits, gigantic monsters, there was even speak of dragons, at one point! And not to mention, the Drow! Many of my caravans have not made it to the place I am now, they have been burned, ransacked or have just completely disappeared. The place I am now is being called Knife-point by the soldiers. It is called this way because we built the Embassy on a place in the swamp, where the rocks are as sharp as knives. The Marshlands are a pain to build in, the ground is almost nowhere fit for building, And the few places that are, are almost always taken by the locals. The locals we found, are as umpredictable as the shifting sands of the desert, we found. One day they are open to trading, the next they will try to storm our Embassy. The latter has been proven to be pointless, thanks to the squad of Elite Qarkyr Archers we were assigned, they have proven to be precise and deadly, an asset to Kaiphilin. Life in Nocturnus has proven difficult, besides the dealings with the locals. Supplying has also proven to be difficult. Since many supply caravans do not arrive, we are struggling to get fresh water (The water from the swamps is undrinkable, naturally) and food. The latter is slightly less of an issue, as we have found that there is an abundance of edible fish in the marshlands. Still, fishing brings danger, as there are also ravenous monsters lurking where the fish are. My task for the coming time will be negotiating a trade agreement with the local werewolf clans, Wish me luck. Honor to Kaiphilin! Lord Shale Hello all, This is my first real MOC since my dark ages, If you have any tips, comments or criticism, PLEASE let me know . I had some trouble photographing, but I think it is all right now. Here are the photo's: Flickr Set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/75672871@N07/sets/72157629287315001/with/6863469579/ Front The back, two people are fishing, you might recognize the one on the right ;), On the balcony are two archers, ready to fire if anything shows up. Close up of the standard, to scare off any potential enemies, mushrooms in different colours grow here, a workman is dragging a crate of fresh fish to the main building. Tower picture, some Archers look out for potential threats, 2 Kaiphilin merchants are chatting about the prize of fresh water. Lord Shale is Negotiating a Trade Agreement with the local werewolves A target is set up for practice, but these archers are the best of the best, they don't need any practice! I hope you enjoyed my Embassy, please leave C and/or C!
  19. Current sign-ups for Quest 23: Guarding the Guards: Tomas (Tamamono) Elgar Gligin (Jedi master Brick) Sign ups will close at the end of February.
  20. Here are my thoughts, BAP, you seem to really have thought this through, and I LOVE outside-the-box-quests, but there are some problems with your idea... The main issue I have with this is that it adds a lot of unnecessary complication to the game, I think one of the strengths of the Heroica RPG is that its so simple, adding things like time, energy, thirst and weight to the game is not something I would approve of. Your navigation system is something is very possible that it COULD be used in a quest, for example an island, it would be a grid, with on each square a scene? This would be pretty good to implement I think making a quest where the objective is to survive, for example, get off an island, is a great idea, I think there can be very interesting concepts, outside the box thinking going on there, but I think the penalty for taking too long/making the wrong decisions should not be loss of time/energy in game, which would just make things complicated, but rather just the quest taking longer, or worse, a failed quest.
  21. Hmmm, Reading this whole conclusion topic, the afterlife writeboard and the general day threads of this game, it has certainly thought me a lot about Mafia games, which is good, If I think the game looks interesting to me, I am going to sign up for another. It was a pleasure playing with all of you, I hope interaction with more different people will happen in games. And don't shorten my name to Scooby, please.
  22. Yeah, I must say I had fun trying to get info from you at times, pestering you is fun, you know! and something I was wondering, when the result you were scum got out, were you really gonna let yourself get voted out?
  23. Ok Hinckley, you asked for it, I will now always pester you .
  24. "Don't think it matters, since we haven't got any clues about which ways to go... I say Valco just chooses a direction and we follow."
