  1. I would like to vote for @LM71Blackbird. His build was very sleek and colorful. I also want to vote for @Ross Fisher for interesting minifigures and an enjoyable story.
  2. I really like the colors and the sleek and well rounded shape of the hull. The rigging and sails are a nice touch, too!
  3. Thanks! I’m looking forward to more stories, too!
  4. As a newcomer to Eurobricks forum, I am enjoying this game personally.
  5. Very nice figures and story, fun seeing the dynamic between your main character and the knight. I like the contrast between the light blue and the black on the forecastles and the brown of the hull. I also like the broad platform style of the castles. This would be a very good medieval vessel for hand-to-hand combat!
  6. Thank you! I really just sat around and tinkered until something happened to work. I haven’t really done much with brickbuilt hulls, either.
  7. A middle aged man stood on the prow of an elegant vessel. She was a lovely small ship, he thought. Fast and maneuverable, the Maroon Swan sliced through the water. A man in armor clanked up to the front of the ship and hailed the man standing there. "Chamberlain Robert," he began, "How are you finding our mission thus far?" The chamberlain turned and faced the soldier. Wind rustled around his hair and ruffled his hat on his head. He placed a key in his pocket then swiftly secured his hat's place. "Quite windy, I would say. I suppose that is to be expected at sea." The armored man nodded and returned to his post. The chamberlain looked back out to sea. His mission was quite simple, but of great importance to his employer, Mortimer Studsbury. He was responsible for providing cash on loan to the Knights of Yeldo, to support their outposts across the water from Corrington's old enemies, and in the hopes that they may eventually find relics that can support the resurgence of the Knights and Corrington alongside it. Robert hoped the meeting and connections he was to make would prove invaluable to both the bank's fortune and the Kingdom's cause.
  8. @KhorneI like the build, especially how the figures are both in the point of pulling down the statue and getting ambushed at the same time. I also like how the build Represents the intercepted letter, like a snapshot. Creative! @Ross Fisher I appreciate the terrain of your build and the eastern stylistic elements. @LM71BlackbirdI like the claustrophobic nature of the build that lends itself well to a dungeon. I also like the various detailing and points of view we can gain from the build.
  9. Mortimer Studsbury and his small retinue quietly approached the shaded clearing along the Corrlander-Oleon border. From their point of reference, they could see the colorful whites and blues of an Oleon hunting party. This is exactly what Mortimer had hoped to find. In the clearing, with a small party of his own, stood Duke Guillaume de Bellemont, a prominent Oleon nobleman ruling over a district along the Corrlander-Oleon Border. The men rested under the shade of a tree, still holding their ornate gold-plated hunting spears. Mortimer gave the signal, and his retinue emerged simultaneously before the other group of men. Mortimer and his soldiers did not attack, however. Mortimer launched an assault with words. "Duke de Bellemont, I am Mortimer Studsbury, heir to the Studsbury banking enterprise. I am not here today to cause you any harm, but rather to gently remind you of an old debt I recovered from some old books in my late father's possession. I can assure you, it has become quite a sum in lieu of the termination of the Long War." The Duke stood silently, caught off-guard and confused for a moment. Only breathing could be heard for a short time before he responded. "Perhaps you are right, but you are in no position to press me or Oleon for debts from a time before we claimed victory over your realm." Mortimer grinned knowingly. "You may misunderstand me. I do not need you to repay the loan... yet. I may be obliged to reduce the ongoing interest or even eliminate some of the fees you have amassed if you might be inclined to simply assist me." The Duke de Bellomont rubbed his chin. "Please, do tell me whatever it is you are on about." Mortimer continued. "If it please you, the Studsbury's are willing to reduce the rate of interest accumulating on your accounts by nine tenths if only you share regularly some of the economic and political goings on of your realm." The duke squinted. Mortimer knew the Duchy of Bellemont was one hard pressed during the war, and finances must be in a difficult state for the duke in these days. Mortimer extended a hand. "We so value your business that we may be persuaded to eliminate your interest altogether, and perhaps forgive all the interest that has accumulated for, say, the last five years." The Duke de Bellemont raised his eyebrows, and his eyes widened. "Might you give me a moment?" Mortimer nodded. The duke turned and beckoned at another man holding another golden spear who approached and whispered with him briefly. Bellemont turned back to Mortimer. "We will accept your offer, provided further debt forgiveness be possible in the future for further assistance." Mortimer nodded, and bowed. "I will send a man to you from time to time. Please treat him with the utmost confidence. He will bare a sign to ensure his identity." With that, Mortimer turned and with his comradery in toe, hurried out of the borderlands and back into the realm of Corrington, his mission completed successfully. Information for his king was certainly more valuable than gold he likely would never see again. PLEASE NOTE: I believe I may be about an hour overdue. If disqualified, I understand. I hope people enjoy the photo and story regardless. Thank you for reading!
  10. I would like to vote for Ayrlego’s Vatatzes estate build. It has so much character, the style is so warm and reminiscent of a sunny Mediterranean villa and is easily recognized as such. It is impressive how many nicely thought out structural characteristics are included in that size of a build!
  11. Beautiful!
