I'd be interested in buidling a Kaliphlin embassy in Bruluum Harbor. I was planning to build a partial street scene with a few Avalonian-style storefronts flanking the street to the embassy. Let me know - thanks.

Greetings neighbors to the northwest. I am having a difficult time finding a current map of Avalonia and am wondering if there has been any development in the "Witherwoods" area. Any towns or settlements? What is general topography/flora/fauna/climate of the area? I'm looking for a small village in which to build a Kaliphlin embassy. Perhaps the Enchanted Forest is a better location as it could have navigable trade routes from Kaliphlin's cities of Barqa or Eastgate. Witherwoods sounds intriguing, though. Anything you Avalonians could tell me about the area would be great. Thanks.

Wow - brilliant! Like others have said, the colors are superb. The sand blue with the light bley and white has a wonderful mystic quality to it. This is, without question, one of the most beautiful (in a great Nocturnian twisted way) designs I've ever seen. If there is anything to even remotely criticize (constructively, of course), it's that this seems more like a brilliant sculpture than an embassy. Unless all the "rooms" are inside the rock supporting the tower, it doesn't seem that there is any kind of meeting space in the structure. Regardless, I LOVE IT. Totally original and daring. Nice work.

I also really like the authenticity of this MOC - like others have said, a wonderful dark swampy feel to it, like a medieval New Orleans. Very nice look on the raised walkways with the varying shades of brown tiles. Nice work!

I am interested in building a Kaliphlin "embassy" in a small Avalonian town, preferably in a wooded area. I plan to include a couple Avalonian-style storefronts along a road to the embassy. It doesn't make too much difference to me if it is in an established Avalonian town - it could be anywhere, frankly; but it seems like a lot of guild members are really getting into "owning" towns or specific locations. So, if someone wants a Kaliphlin embassy in their town that doesn't already have something like that, I'd be happy to give it a go. Let me know - thanks.

Congratulations - brilliant design. It's not easy to pull off the round tower in a believable way - love the color.

Congratulations to Gabe for the brilliant watchtower - and to everyone in the Guild who made an effort. I'm amazed by the level of talented builders in all the guilds. Having recently returned to LEGO as an adult, my kids are sure impressed with my building but around here I feel like an amateur again. You guys are amazing and inspiring - great techniques.

I may have missed it in the earlier developments of the geographical regions, but does the Kaliphlin Guild have enemies? Are all the guilds supposed to be against each other? For the 2nd Challenge, which land would a Kaliphlin embassy be in, or would there be one in all the other lands? Just curious if I need to augment my brick supplies in the other themes.

Not sure if it's too late to post my Watchtower entry (it's still December 15 in California), so here goes: This tower was constructed near the base of the Rakath mountains and is surrounded by a moat of Black Oil for additional defense.

Introducing Tashbaan the Nomad who desires to ally himself with the Kaliphlin Guild. Tashbaan is a humble shepherd who wanders the Parched Lands near Qarkyr but often finds himself as far south as the Dune Sea. He moonlights as a mercenary when the opportunity is valuable enough but is considering a relocation to the Spice Islands in pursuit of a simpler life.

If it's not too late - I'd be interested in joining this guild. I'm new to Eurobricks - and, frankly, new to the enjoyment of LEGO as an adult. My kids just got me back into them this year. I'll come up with a character and try to get a watchtower done soon as well. Thanks.
