Wait a minute, is the set JUST going to be the minifigures?

No, it's telling people sort of about my town.

I'm making my own LEGO Town basing(?) it on images from LEGO Club, Spot-The-Crook and a City House Box. It may be for my Collectable Minifigures. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110814202840/lego/images/5/52/2011LCM1p17.jpg The City House's box has an image of a street scene with Construction Site and City Corner. The Spot the crook book also has green behind the City Corner buildings (the Pizzeria is blue though). LEGO Club Magazine of 2012 had an image of the collectable minifigures near the seperate Pet Shop buildings and Fire building (which maybe could be put near the Grand Emporium). Sets: City Corner Modular Buildings: -Grand Emporium -Fire Bragade -Pet Shop (would it be weird to use mini modulars instead of 100s of pounds?) -Town Plan (if only I could recreate on LEGO Designer instead of spending 100s of pounds?)(expanded in image) -Road Plates (costs a lot for only a bunch of the right ones. I've been using old green and gray ones instead) Now do you think I have to exactly obey the rules of whats set in these images?

No I meant the shadowed buildings. (impossible?)

Ordering every last individual brick in possibly separate packages? It's a shame that LEGO Design by Me has to close.

Also, can anyone identify the background buildings?

Would it be weird to put these in place with minifigure sized buildings?

Instead of getting a hundreds pounds worth set what about if I get a sticker sheet and sets with the correct pieces (and purchase exclusives seperately) to make my own Town Plan cinema? What sets can I use? (I got the idea from someone giving advice when I was searching for a cheap set).

Is there an online website to buy certain old (or usually expensive sets)(OR BOTH) where I can buy certain LEGO sets cheaply. It may be for my sort of Collectable Minifigure Town using images from LEGO CLub and the Spot the crook book and ect. Sets: CITY Construction Site (Goes with City Corner and City House) CREATOR Town House? TOWN PLAN (yeah it's usually expensive but was featured in this image (http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/File:2011LCM1p17.jpg). Maybe I could just substitue. Creator Beach House? City Bank Mini Modulars (haven't been released yet but they're £60) Modulars in general

4438: Hey guys look. LEGO pieces that look like they were made out of bricks.

Telling you and asking for suggestions. That image is a link to my version and the other is Ronald McDoanld maybe for comparison. This one is also without any decals and that stuff. And I knew that about the CM Clowns.

Reference Hair: I haven't got the clown hair yet but I had this to use. I still may use the clown hair. Head: Series 5 Clown. You think it fits well? Torso: Blank yellow torso mixed with red arm torso (?) which may of had different hands. Yeah, minimal if any yellow torsos that fit. LEGs: Maybe red legs mixed with yellow legs. Feet: 1X1 plates red (Maybe for lower)1X1 plates round red (maybe for socks)and flippers for big shoes. Do you think it works well? What do you people think?

They might not stick with the Race Driver minifig...

Niiiiice. And knock off effect? Megabloks, Character Building and Playmobile all now have at least two random minifigure bags.

You know, before, with seeing LEGO knock offs I'd of course dislike them. Just then I was looking at Mario Kart K'nex sets and I did have thoughts of getting a set or more. I saw them in Toys R Us. They have Mario figures which may be LEGO compatible. :)
