  1. Great thread and fantastic work on the UCS X-Wing Starfighter 75355 with the landing gear mod and Light FX! Seeing the landing lights and engine glow really brings back memories of that iconic Dagobah scene—what a perfect excuse to add some extra lighting. I recently installed a premium light kit on my own 75355 X-Wing (I went with a kit similar to those from Light My Bricks or Lightailing), but I also had a great experience with the official kits from Bright My Bricks—they offer really clear instructions and top-notch components. You can check them out here: Bright My Bricks. . The installation process was straightforward with clear instructions, and I love how the lights highlight all the small details—especially the engines and blasters. Your landing gear mod is a brilliant addition! I can imagine how much extra work went into wiring everything for the landing lights, but the result is absolutely worth it. The self-supporting gear and the extra interior detail make this X-Wing stand out even more. For anyone considering lighting up their UCS X-Wing 75355, I can definitely recommend investing in a quality light kit. It transforms the model from a great display piece into a true centerpiece, especially in low light. Plus, the plug-and-play nature of most kits means no electronics experience is needed—just a bit of patience and attention to detail. Thanks for sharing your build and inspiring others to take their X-Wing projects to the next level! Have you experimented with any remote control features or different lighting effects for your setup?
  2. Hello fellow LEGO and Star Wars fans! I recently built the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 75375, the 25th Anniversary mid-scale edition, and decided to take it to the next level by adding a premium light kit. I wanted to share my thoughts and some tips for anyone considering lighting up this iconic ship. Building and Displaying the Falcon: This set is a fantastic tribute to the classic Millennium Falcon, with 921 pieces and a sleek, display-friendly design. The build is enjoyable and not too complex, making it perfect for both seasoned builders and those new to LEGO Star Wars . The included stand allows you to display the Falcon at a dynamic angle, as if it’s in flight—great for showing off the ship’s details. Adding the Light Kit: I chose a high-quality LED lighting kit specifically designed for the 75375 Falcon. Installation was straightforward; the kit came with clear instructions and all necessary components . The wires are thin and easy to hide within the structure, so the finished model looks clean and professional. I didn’t have to disassemble much—just a few bricks here and there to route the cables and install the lights. Lighting Effects and Atmosphere: The LED lights really bring the Falcon to life! The cockpit glows with a warm, inviting light, and the engines emit a cool blue glow, simulating the ship’s powerful thrusters . The lighting highlights the ship’s unique features—like the sensor dish and laser cannons—and creates dramatic shadows across the hull. The overall effect is stunning, transforming the Falcon from a static display piece into a vibrant, movie-inspired centerpiece. Personal Opinion: I highly recommend adding a light kit to this set. The difference between a standard display and a professionally lit Millennium Falcon is night and day. The installation is simple, and the result is absolutely worth it. Whether you’re a Star Wars collector or just love building LEGO, lighting up the 75375 Falcon is a rewarding experience.
