  1. Well, it just seemed obvious to me that if you want to re-make art in Lego form, you would do so chronologically. Gotta start at the beginning, right?
  2. Honestly it doesnt need a rudder, but a tiller (the stick thingy for controlling the rudder? am I getting that right) could be pretty easy with something like a 1x1 brick modified with an antennae piece on the side
  3. Good idea, I can totally use this as a base and modify from here. This is right out of the Mosaic tool in studio, I can really get the finger painting effect and the texture of the rocks with some more pieces
  4. A 96 x 64 stud rendition of some of the cave art in the Lascaux caves. I thought this would be funny to hang on the wall, as large as I could afford; we'll see if I get around to it. Either way, thought I'd share. Painted as pixel art in Aseprite then converted in Studio.
  5. Wow, this is super cool! I was looking for a small vessel design. Would love to build a couple. I like those sails. I would love to see them in all white or all tan. No need for a stern castle I think, right now it is working well as a cutter or tender. A small figurehead could be cool, all sorts of pieces that could work there from animals to masks to microfigs. I would love to see a tiller and some indication of a hatch to access a small cargo bay. And a place for a flag on the mast would be neat, maybe some simple rigging with the string pieces. A grappling hook piece could make a good small anchor. That design for a swivel gun I am absolutely going to steal right away
  6. You're right, it does look like that! I would certainly love to see a pirate themed train.
  7. I'm planning to replace the brick built sails on 31109 with some custom tyvek ones I'm going to print on my inkjet, and I'm working on a design. At first I was just looking at the past Lego sails, but then I got the idea to try and convert the design of the brick built skull and bones to a vector logo myself. The original design: And my own design: I may end up going with a more classic skull and bones, but I still thought it was worth sharing!
