I always wanted an iconic diorama for Episode IV (like the 75352 Emperor's Throne Room for Episode VI). But what LEGO gave us for Episode IV did not give me any "vibes" at all... the 75329 Trench Run was a nice idea, but sorry, the trench in the movie looks absolutely different - and the 75339 Trash Compactor was funny - but nothing more... So I had to design something on my own - and what would suit better as an iconic diorama than the first light saber duel ever in Star Wars? With this MOC I present my version of Obi-Wan Kenobi's sacrifice in Epsiode IV. As always I wanted to stay as movie accurate as possible - but well, regarding the "imperial lighting panels" that was not really possible. When you carefully watch the scene from 1:31:30 until 1:32:30 you can see that the panels change after 1:31:50... ;-) I tried to include as much of the wall design as possible, which wasn't that easy in minifigure scale. The diorama can also get illuminated: all walls are hollow. You just have to exchange all white parts with trans clear parts and install some LEDs within the walls... With this MOC I present my (mostly internal) modifications of the LEGO Star Destroyer 75394 to drastically increase the play features of the set. Here are the changes I did to the original set: - I relocated the bridge to a new section just below the central superstructure - the new bridge can be removed to reach the lower deck more easily - I added a (turnable) "turbolift-entry" to be able to "reach" the new bridge from below - I added another (turnable) "turbolift-entry" in a small hallway just below the bridge - the single big room of the original set was divided into two rooms and a small hallway - one of the new rooms is some sort of a "tactics room" (with a sliding door to the hallway) - the other one is some sort of a "storage room" (with a sliding door to the hallway) - the original location of the bridge was converted into a small conference room - I redesigned the engines and the lower part of the engine section - all original play features ("swoosh handle", shooters) are still intact and functional - my MOC should be compatible with a lot of the other already available MOCs for this set The MOC is available on rebrickable.

No, @Murdoch17, please read again, it is has not been shipped - as written it still is in it's initial state - the state it was just after I clicked "order" (in german this reads "im Lager" which would translate to "in the warehouse", but of course I don't know if they display this for english speaking customers) ! And yes they are swamped with orders - just like all other toy companies as well. Imagine if all would deliver customer service like this... sorry, for the "world leader" in regards to building brix, this is simply ridiculous! It's not like they experience this the first time... perhaps it would be an idea to hire "some" seasonal workers and not rely on the regular 5 staff member crew?! Most of the companies (including the postal services !!) try their best - and all need more time - no problem. But what LEGO get's away with... @1963maniac Really?! 100 days?! O M G.

Just like the title says: I did a quite large pick-a-brick order on 5th December and up to today it still is in it's intial state ?! REALLY ?! I did some other (one even a lot larger) part orders using bricklink shops at the same time as the pab-order and all arrived in the week after I ordererd... I can only call this sort of "customer service" ridiculous! I am so pissed off - but what's the worst: my little one will now NOT have her largest present under the tree...

My little girl “demanded” a house for her Mando & Grogu, as she only had the very small Razor Crest (MOC-198592 on rebrickable) which didn't have a bed or toilet... and she also had some specific ideas about the rooms: at least three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and (of course) a bathroom... sigh... ;-) I also had a few restrictions myself (e.g., sliding doors for all the rooms), so I ended up having to design the thing myself... and now I am proud to present Mando's hut on Nevarro! As always, I tried to stick closely to the original design from the TV series, but some things didn't work out, either because of the limitations of LEGO bricks (e.g., the three barrels on the right should have a diameter of 1 1/2 bricks) or because other design decisions prevented the necessary solutions. As described, the hut has 3 bedrooms, a small kitchen with an adjoining dining/living room, and a small bathroom (with toilet and shower). The exterior features many details that can be seen in the last 25 seconds of the final episode of the third season, including Mando's (brick-built) wooden chair and the two transparent “barrels” (water containers?) in the front right corner of the hut. Apparently, everyone else who built a version of this hut completely overlooked these “barrels" ;-) The MOC is available on rebrickable.

Thank you for your kind words - yes, of course it will be quite dark when closed, but it's totally meant to get illuminated I built the "lava-floor" using transparent plates/tiles (in red, orange, yellow) and they are also "hollow" - put some LEDs into the sockets and add some slow pulse effects... and the whole scenery gets "stylish" light from below - only the hot smoke would be missing

These "thousands" of "rock pieces" are exactly 586. Leaving them out would leave the thing completely empty on the sides when opened. Sorry, but what you propose would look simply like crap. Another (completely boring) display model without any depth / scenery. And the original Balrog Book Nook lacked depth as well, because of the empty side parts. If LEGO would have done it right, the walls of the Balrog Book Nook would not be simply dark bluish gray or black... And, again sorry, if one built the entrance and bridge of the Crack of Doom the rest is simply rocks - there is nothing more visually interesting, at least to my knowledge.

After having finished the work on the Balrog Book Nook (MOC-223824) I thought of "utilizing" this style for another MOC - and what would suit better than the "Destruction of the Ring" ? I wanted to stay movie accurate with this, but that is easier said than done. There is never a shot where you see the whole Crack of Doom without any smoke. At least there are some good shots of the bridge and the architecture directly above the bridge. But a lot of the other things are quite difficult to see. Nevertheless I am really satisfied with the final result of this MOC. Just like the Balrog this should also get illuminated - the socket has room for some effects board and is built using transparent plates and tiles. So get some slow "pulse effects" and let that lava glow ;-) As I aimed for the scene when Frodo was hanging from the cliff and Sam tried to reach him, the proper quote on the 2x6 tile probably would be: "Don't you let go... Don't let go..." The MOC is available on rebrickable.

With this MOC I present my modifications for the LEGO 75331 UCS Razor Crest set to look like the new Razor Crest from the upcoming movie "The Mandalorian and Grogu" To my knowledge there are currently no screenshots of the interior (except the cockpit which looks pretty much like the old Razor Crest). If the interior is different to the original Razor Crest, this MOC will get updated accordingly. This MOC is based on my MOC "75331 Razor Crest (modified)". Here is a list of all the changes I have done to the original set: outer tiling/plating in bright light orange/yellow to get the look of the new Razor Crest shiny and new look: all plates/tiles in dark bluish gray and dark tan have been removed shrinking the cockpit so it ends just behind the two passenger seats (like in the movie) adding of an additional third room in the cockpit area (to make the ship more accurate to the TV series) the third room has a small cabinet - this was inspired by the episode where Grogu had to switch some wires in a maintenance shaft. And if you don't put Grogu in there, you now have at least some space to store Din Djarins hair ;-) exchanged the two spare seats in the cockpit with a design inspired by the pilot seat closing of a lot of gaps in the cockpit area and the engine area adding of an additional section and ladder to reach the escape pod from inside the ship modified escape pod, which can be entered from inside the Razor Crest (the new pod can unfold it's bottom) interior now accurate to the movie additional bottom hatch (remember the episode where the prisioner was rescued from the prisoner transportship) 4 brake flaps for each engine (as seen in several dogfights) strengthening of the connection of the landing gear cases (why the heck did LEGO not use ball joints for this ?!) additional retractable laser cannon at the back of the ship (never seen in the TV series or movie, nevertheless an official part of the ship) self extending/retracting entry ramps at the two side doors of the Razor Crest (believe me, that was tricky ;-) slightly modified the side panels (which include the side doors) to connect less "shaky" additional interior coverings an indicated (and therefore closed) astromech port - the Razor Crest had one, but as Din Djarin distrusts droids, he never used it. adding of the toilet and changing the toilet/bed area to be much more accurate to the movie reshaped the inner part of the cockpit canopy behind Mando's seat the Blurrg can now enter the ship through the loading ramp reworked the nose to make it more accurate to the movie reworked the front guns to make them more accurate to the movie closing of a lot of gaps and adding a lot of detail all around the ship reworked the landing feet and boarding ramps to make them more accurate to the movie rework of the front "turbine part" of the engines integration of the ladder to the cockpit area into the wall reworked the front landing gear to be (almost) fully retractable The MOC is available on rebrickable.

With this MOC I present my improvements for the new WALL-E from the LEGO® 43279 set. My changes to WALL-E include the following: - redesigned the back to be more movie-accurate - added eyebrows - slightly extended the armlengths - new arm sockets to provide a little more friction for the arm movement - redesigned the hands and gave them more posability - exchanged the lower wheels of the tracks (sorry, but this plane disks as wheels looked totally awful...) - redesigned the side panels, to use more bright light orange instead of yellow and to make them more movie accurate - improvement of the head moveability (WALL-E can now easily turn his head to the back) - the main body has some preparations to route the cables of a motorization using curcuitcubes components from the inside to the outside Additionally I added some accessories: - the lunchbox (sorry, it can't be opened) - the fire extinguisher - WALL-E's solarpanel - the "hat" (a garbage can lid) WALL-E used when dancing The MOC is available on rebrickable.

Let's face it: the Imperial Light Cruiser LEGO 75315 set is neither a good display set, nor is it a good playset. But it is at least... a good starting point for both options ;-) With this MOC I present my modifications to turn the original LEGO set into the Ultimate playset version, In order to achieve this I heavily modified the complete ship. Here are some of the changes: 3 new rooms and a small hallway (Dark Trooper storage room, prisoner cell and an engine room at the back) additional lids to gain access to all the new internal areas lengthening of the nose, now with TV show accurate design adding the missing 4 small engines at the back adding the completly missing bottom section including landing gear additional cosmetic changes all over, to make the ship more accurate to the TV show The only thing that got lost, is the play feature to be able to "jumpstart" the included TIE fighters. I did not do this on purpose, but this "feature" of the LEGO set simply collides with the needed modifications to be able to lengthen the nose properly. The MOC is available on rebrickable.

With this MOC I present my modifications for the LEGO 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter set. While maintaining all of the original features (wing un-/folding, wing flapping, and the retractable chassis) my version has the following improvments: no more visible wrong colored pins, axles, liftarms, ball joints, etc. enhanced cockpit with 3 seats enhanced shape of the cockpit canopy while retaining the opening mechanism slightly reduced width of the cockpit to make the Ornithopter a little bit slimmer total redesign of the tail with a more movie accurate shape total redesign of the tailend with a more movie accurate shape drastically reduced the size of the wing flapping button. overall covering of the technic chassis indicated cone bases for the wings redesign of the front landing gear to make it more movie accurate The MOC is available on rebrickable.

"Kynes, you have betrayed the Emperor." - "I serve only one master." I wanted a more interesting way of presenting the minifigures of the LEGO 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter set. With this MOC, I present my first Dune Diorama: "The death of Dr. Liet-Kynes". It's the scene where Liet-Kynes and three Sardaukar get swallowed by a sandworm. You will need Liet-Kynes from the 10327 LEGO set and three (custom) Sardaukar. I describe my custom built Sardaukar in the instructions, so you can build them on your own. With this MOC I present an improved version of the LEGO 10367 set, the Balrog Book Nook. This set has been criticized a lot, and many of the arguments are correct: the set looks quite empty, the Balrog is to small, the bridge does not look good, the prize is way to high... Nevertheless what I really liked from the beginning is the book nook approach. And if this is the main design decision, it's quite problematic to make the Balrog bigger, or the bridge larger... When I first saw this set, I imagined it as a "real book-like" set, with a lot more dwarven pillars in the back fading to black and... illumination! In my opinion an illuminated version of this book nook approach would look far better than any "traditional" (and in my opinion boring) display set - even if it would have a bigger Balrog and a better bridge... So I enhanced the set to look like a real book and added support to ease the illumination of the set. It can still be fully opened, but also completely closed and then it's like a "one-book-version" of the Lord of the Rings. I also added the sword of the Balrog and enhanced him so his ribcage can get illuminated. Additionally all light bluish gray parts got exchanged with black (or if not available in black with dark bluish gray) parts. Some of the originally dark bluish gray parts also got exchanged with black parts. The MOC is available on rebrickable.

Well... yes, there is something in the works regarding a "diorama" with this Ornithopter... but this will definitely take a lot more time until it's finished Another thing quite short before release is an updated version of the LEGO Royal Ornithopter

Yes - and on rebrickable there is now the updated version available, I had been writing 3 postings above I wouldn't call it a "play model", but you can handle it, and it surely does not fall apart from having a look at it.

I'm glad you both like it After having built the MOC myself I still wasn't satisfied because of the ball joint connection of the wings. If the ball joints are older, they tend to have less friction... and because of the winglength the gravitational pull is quite a thing... I have another solution, which (unfortunately) has other problems - but perhaps there will be an update quite soon. I just ordered some parts I need for testing

With this MOC I present my second version of a Fremen Ornithopter. My original MOC was heavily based on bt.bricks Fremen Ornithoper which can be found here: https://btbricks.gumroad.com/l/ornithopter-fremen I wanted to make the Ornithopter more accurate in regards to the small Ornithopter Paul and Jessica used in Dune Part I. This new design is a complete overhaul to overcome a lot of the limitations of my original MOC and to make it also more movie accurate. The differences to my original version include the following: a full redesign of the main body, resulting in a "smoothed" outer shape another result of the body redesign is, that the part between the blade connectors and the cockpit shrunk by 2 studs full redesign of the cockpit with new side canopies (either part 3383 or part 65633) the blade connectors are now really sturdy no "wobbly" blade positioning anymore - move a blade and it stays instantly in place an overhaul of the wing blades themselves another overhaul of the tail new landing gear which is now capable of carrying the Ornithopter's weight on its own The MOC is available on rebrickable.

On the left side just above the selectable parts there is a searchbar - right of this searchbar there is a switch in the shape of a 1x1 brick. click on this switch and the parts now also show all "decorated" versions studio has available.

With this MOC I present my version of an Imperial Dropship as seen in The Mandalorian, Season 2, Episode 6: The Tragedy The ship is designed to be in scale with the playscale version of the Razor Crest, LEGO Set 75292. Apart from the fact that the MOC and the ship from the TV series match in a lot of details, my MOC has the following features: - space for up to 6 Troopers and their weapons (two weaponracks) - a cockpit for the pilot of the dropship, the cockpit is accessible using a small ladder - a very small cargo area below the cockpit - removable cockpit cover - removable roof of the Trooper area - foldable side panels - front entry ramp with "hydraulics" The MOC is available on rebrickable.
