Haha, no he's just a work in progress. I do think they'll be able to do Lazerbeak pretty well, even with my slightly limited parts I've made improvements compared to the original Buzzsaw. So I'm sure some clever person at Lego would find an even better way of doing cassettes that fit his chest.

Yeah, or someone like Jazz or shockwave. I can't wait to see how they do Soundwave, and hope they get everything including arms folded neatly away unlike my attempt.

I had some feedback that Megatron needed some more colour so added a bit of red in. I don't have enough dark grey to do the bottom of the legs. But I might do a dark grey trim

Some little updates to Megatron head and Soundwave head/legs/arms.

I made a number of changes which I think have improved them and made soundwave closer to the original G1.

Some revisions to Soundwave to make him a bit more G1 but with a modern twist. Feet to come.

Definitely will do Buzzsaw. I guess the issue is that the original toy had parts that you took off, which I wanted to avoid. Plus there have been some great versions done but they were larger.

I agree. It's perfectly possible. Although my attempts arent great in either mode, I can see that it could easily be improved. So can't wait to see what Lego do. I can't wait to see how Lego approach him.

I was going to redo my Soundwave to more closely resemble G1 but maybe I should hold off. For me the 3 main Decepticons would Megatron, Soundwave and Starscream. Megatron is a bit of an interesting one as I'm not sure Lego would be keen on making the gun disguise as it was quite realistic. So the tank variant (similar to mine) would probably be the direction they'd go. Would be nice to have 3 of each. Not sure who would be the third autobot though (not Blaster, as he's too close to Soundwave).

Been working on Megatron and Soundwave (both transform). BTTF car, Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee are all the official Lego sets with no medications - just shown here as part of the display. I can't take full credit for Soundwave as it's based off some images I saw of an MOC done on Redit. Megatron is a complete scratch build of my own design. Next up I've started on Blaster.... but I'm not happy with the head at all!

I would agree that Megatron and Soundwave should be definite contenders for the next ones. I've done my own MOCs but I've been a little limited by what I have available.
