  1. @Alex the Great: Thanks, I like the borders too. And thanks for encouraging me to stick with my style @Cara: Thank you, I find angles almost essential now Thanks for your opinion on the coloring topic @MikeyB: Thanks for letting me know what you think, good suggestions that I will keep in mind To everybody: I am really happy you took time to tell me what you think of my build, even if you thought some of it could be improved
  2. @MikeyB: Thank you I actually wanted to make the bridge in my Border Guard MOC bigger and angled, but didn't have the space. With this build I could actually do it. @kabel: Thanks, glad it has a fellow Mitgardian's approval And if anybody tries to mess with Mitgardia we will be ready @jFox: I'm glad you like the doors, they are one of my favorite parts Thanks for giving your honest opinion of the tower, but I don't think dark grey would work well, especially as that is the color of the rocks right under and around the tower. Furthermore I have mixed light grey with bley, and SoT has made all bley buildings, at least for the stonework, I may need to start adding even more texture to the walls, but I'm not sure about more colors. I guess I will have to experiment. @KingoftheZempk: Thanks ,see what I wrote above about the uniform color. @Niku: Thanks, it is fun to try and develop your own style , and I aim to try use a new technique in every MOC, I'm glad you noticed I want to try a round or octagonal building soon.
  3. My last entry for the mini challenges is up: And a link to the topic: My link
  4. I have wanted to try out my wall technique (mitgardian border watch) again, and I haven't made a stone bridge before. So I decided on a fortified bridge; here it is: All C&C is appreciated
  5. That is one brawny looking mecha! I like the boilers with steam coming out And excellent use of those helmets!
  6. Ah Thanks for the clarification I was getting all worried over nothing
  7. I really like how you presented the two different scenarios on the same base Unfortunately the number of people willing to stand up for others is diminishing. Your sidewalk/road works nicely
  8. So challenge 4 is the last challenge in this chapter, and if a new chapter was started it would be at a later (or earlier) timeframe in Historica? Sad to hear challenge 4 is the last one for now But I can see why, especially after looking in the Historica MOC index; each challenge has had considerably less participants than the previous one.
  9. Your ships are very well built, and curved staircase is excellent Nice work on the rockscaping as well
  10. The burnt landscape looks great And the second drow's weapons are neat The situation with the Drown seems to be escalating
  11. For about the first half of the story I was then I figured it out @bartjuh: Thanks for the WIP pics
  12. Nice landscaping Maybe you could add some windows to the Barracks, to break up the walls more. Looking forward to seeing the interior
  13. Excellent work! I agree that the 4x3 roller door pieces look great The clock on the side is another nice touch
  14. This is a really cool project! I admire you for taking it on Looking forward to seeing it all together, I think the tavern is my favorite of your buildings so far. Hope you get a good rest
  15. @Cara: I hope you manage to build your idea The pics for my last entry (and thats final ) to the mini-challenges will be up tomorrow.
  16. This is great! The ship looks very similar to the real thing, my favorite part are the dolphins
  17. Would you mind posting a pic of the old one? Just so it is easier to see the differences, you added the doorway right?
  18. I really like how busy the scene is And that you did interiors The road making looks really realistic, as does the guy fixing the roof. Wonderful posing on the figs! Better small and detailed than large and bland
  19. Nice monster! The only thing bothering me is that the underside of his body is a perfect rectangle. The tail looks great And I like how posable he is
  20. Great build! The windshield works wonderfully, especially that it can fold down Nice work on the trailer as well, looking forward to your next build
  21. The Hunter has a very nice menacing look The way the cockpit opens is neat, and I like the shaping of the tail. Excellent work
  22. This is great! It just all works together so well, the picture of the guard in the tower looking at the rat selling made me laugh I think you conveyed the slums feeling beautifully
  23. Excellent work, especially the trebuchet It looks very sturdy, and I like that you made if functional
  24. I'll add another comment on the bear, it looks great! All the animals look at home, nice landscaping too
  25. Cool little MOC I like the angled wings, looks almost like a set
