  1. Great review, I had this set still in my collection :) .
  2. Great MOC - when I look on it I don't know why Pirates series aren't in any catalogue . Wish that one day they will re-edit old stuff from times when Blue Coats fought with pirates (dreamer).
  3. Nice, small lighthouse - indeed civilians buildings aren't popular in old Pirates theme I liked (Blue coats don't have any). Great building .
  4. My small collection from time of childhood.
  5. Great building, I really like pool on the roof and room with Hawaian minifig - with legs from old Pirates Sets (my favourite model). Wooden stairs and floors looks really nice, also rooms look interesting (those different style in everyone, Egypt, Japanes, Pirates details).
  6. Hi Brain! Thank you, I would like to do some more reviews. I have some plans what I review next. You have impressive Lego collection. Greetings, Mirosław

  7. Modular houses I saw are great buildings, but as I think for a childrens more important is to have more smaller buildings to populate town - and have fun in using them. Both modular and Creator building are really nice models (I agree, modulars have price which are out of range for many people).
  8. Great article . I think Lego miss such buildings today - as such now city looks like there are police and thiefs, fire fighters, airport, spaceport and few others. I see houses only in Lego constructor - nice ones, but still they are not the same as ones from old catalogues. There are few of course that looks great like City Corner or Marina (they two I think can be ideal combination of city beach - great for both genders to play). Some houses based on classical one should be added to them (maybe small post office, small houses to bring some life to Lego Town). Thank you for great article.
  9. "Over The Misty Mountains and Mirkwood Forest."

  10. Great work, look really nice - great addition to any town (hope he find work in good hospital).
  11. Nice review. Car really useful in Lego City - to catch all things which happen there - racers, all competition, car accidents.
  12. Thanks Kristian, I read your pdf. with buildings some time ago - but don't own account here. Great article for me - it rememorized me some part of my childhood (although I don't own many classic houses). Box - this one happily survived because I must hide somewhere Lego many years ago, survived along few others large boxes and few medium. Those boxes where great with all those ideas to inspire builder. This strange, whole set was cleaned with hot water and washing liquid - still without desired succes for some parts (roof still look unclean btw). Hope to add some others reviews in a time (I saw some great sets I own don't have them). Thanks
  13. I think that with some new elements, new small cabriolet and camper this set should be at time in modern time. I thinked about writing this review about a week and still I would put some pictures of camper (I hope to do it soon). I usually added a wall in space beetwen kitchen and grill. Thanks too, I try to do the best . Camper is really cool, still it lack something lack place to sleep - its more likely to be used as transporter for minifigs.
  14. Fantastic buildings, many great minifigures there . Store with comics, storm trooper helmet and small goblins figs look really nice.
  15. Classic Lego house, after some cars and fire depot I got this awesome set. In this set are many different pieces - some of them has been my first ones as glasses and grey trash. So what we have in this set? Whole set - small house with grill, a table with four chairs, white red sunshade, small classic Lego Town car, camper with trailer carrying classical motorboat. Not to forget to mention - there are four minifigures - two men and two ladies. The house contains a mix of white, red and yellow bricks with few black ones. Some of 101 elements contains this building (without glasses, thrash etc.). Front Rear Some other view from left side Small red car (28 bricks), classic one - many others cars looked similar to it - like - 6506 Precinct Cruiser. Camper (102 bricks) with trailer (30 bricks) carrying motorboat (25 bricks) - I never thinked that so many elements can be used for such vehicle - there are many small pieces indeed. There is also some place for a bike on the rear of camper. Four minifigs, two couples - unhappily they had been blinded fo a moment: As I mentioned before there are couple of interesting elements - which should give fun for anyone, especially kid. Bricks used for building this exciting set: Small car: Camper: Trailer: Motorboat: House: Not to mention, but still I own original box - so here you are: Front: Inside: Rear: Instruction - first page (the others are scanned in this pdf.): So after friend graduation Lorena took key from her parents to this small house to make her friend suprise . Conclusions: Number - 6388 (1472) Name – Vacation House (1472) or Holiday Home with Campervan (6388) Theme – Classic Town Year – 1987 under 1472, 1989 under 6388 Minifigs – 4 Pieces – at least 284 (without special elements like thrash or minifigures), via Brickpedia 334 Price – unknown for me (maybe tomorrow I will find it on net) What we get? We get great set for both girls and boys - mix of both genders are equal (unhappily in old sets there are much more male figures). Two road vehicles, motorboat with her carriers, beautiful vacation house with goodly equiped kitchen - grill with some meat on it. Thrash and some other stuff to keep area clean. Maybe there should be some space for sleeping, but this is only one minus I think. At last - I think Lego miss such sets today - there are much more police or firefighters than any others - in old sets there where many houses, maybe Lego should ressurect some of they old sets - give them new minifigures, upraded vehicles? Hope you don't waste your time reading this . P.S. I would like to add photos of vehicles, but still I fought with light - those photos need to be done again (hope to attach them soon). If you see mistake, write - I still learning.
  16. On the box rear they made him taller, still great set. With brother we have two such knights. Crossbow was dishonour weapon for knights, indeed there should be some squire to use such cruel, unhonorable weapon.
  17. Amazing collection of great minifigs . Nice scenes for all of them.
  18. Thank you, my mistake of course it is from 1989. With a bit of imagination it can be turned into nice civilian car, with few additional elements also for two minifigures. Indeed, its great car for police inspector. Great photos, so many cars - it must be a large Lego City to support so many policeman in those cars.
  19. Policeman don't have easy life. I have problems with those light, thanks for every issue - I would do that reviews better. I would try to do review with those points you're mentioned (order at first). Polybags sets looks really nice, especially Jet Skie (nice minifigs).
  20. I think there will be many to do with light, maybe I ask friend for advice - I think I can do better photos. This model is covered by dust - I must wash many elements, today I would clean all trees and flowers . Yeah, only 4 cylinder - there are some models like this ones in catalogues if I goodly remember - but Im not sure about they engines.
  21. With some modification it can be great cabriolet. Set is really nice, even now - when most of cars I see in catalogues are a bit bigger (with some smaller ones). I have some idea to build those model with different colors. Hi. With fire truck I have many problems with photo, there I had problems too - lighting is a problem. I used ACD to make it better, but nearly without effects (for long time I haven't been using camera and graphic programmes). Still I have some ideas to make some scenes with other models in the future.
  22. Thank you, I will try to do the best. Some building are in need to be rebuild as them for such reviews. With brother we always wanted to have Highway Patrol you mentioned, but never had them. Small nice set with two motorbikes. My brother was 5 or 6 when he get this set.
  23. I think, I would like to join Reviewers Academy - there are still some great models to describe (especially old ones).
  24. My first Lego set - black and red racer with grey engine. Instruction: Parts: Number - 6526 Name – Red Line Racer Theme – Classic Town Year – 1989 Minifigs – 1 Pieces – 47 Price – $3.99 (from Legowikia) Some images of that old model: "I think that it is still in running condition". Some more checking. Go! This set had been my first and was really overused by time, until we get next set. Real minifigure from that set in fact has eyes and smile made by marker, as original ones wipe off from miniature face. Of course minifigure at those times had been a great hero (he was really original to toy soldiers - mobile head, hands, legs - really different standard). First minatures along with him lived in house made from wood bricks. Different bricks but improvisation gave me and my brother great fun. Maybe someone else have great fun with this set .
  25. Looks really good, interesting addition to Lego City.
