Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
VinnieCannoli replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
My main problem with 2+ FB movies was that...it was oddly about anything else other than "Fantastic Beasts"... it was about all kinds of random characters but not about fantastic beasts like the first movie was. It felt like one of those hp-fanfics with lots of new original characters... And the worst part is that I remember people liking the "step away from HP-monster movie" at first (saying they want something more adult oriented instead of "whimsical adventure with oversized pokemon") when the second film was announced... yeah it didn't end that well (i did like the Jude Law as Dumbledore a lot, though, and old hogwarts parts...wish they could do something better with these actors and backgrounds) Reading books about the creatures that inhabit the world of Hogwarts and imagining what they might look like is one of my best memories of enjoying this franchise in the past. I really enjoyed seeing how the designers depicted these creatures in the videogames. I wish we could see some lesser-known hp-monsters in LEGO. -

Haha yeah! But it's just made me remember how Wizarding World basically has its own "Pokemon". wish somebody would make something cool and collectable out of that idea. Thos giant lego figures like that new Pixie is not quite that yet. -

Yeah and I'm excited about the next castle part with a possible chamber of secrets! PS: Started replaying that "Chamber of secrets" rpg-game from Game Boy Advance this Halloween and it made me remember how magical creatures were a significant part of HP back then. I wonder why lego won't make some collectable HP-creatures looking at how popular the Pokemon franchise is right now. Maybe blind bags with brick built monsters like those from Mario series... Maybe they just forgot there are tons of monsters to collect and read description, and it can be a potential toy series... -

Once again HP sets bring nothing but joy to me. I'm so glad i decided to stick with HP in lego terms. That bike and the Lovegood house are amazing sets. It's exactly "that old" feel of lego. Just playtime-oriented reasonable sets (i'm so glad they didn't turn the Lovegood house into an adult black box set!) that are compact and full of fun and look good as display pieces! Pretty sure they will be discounted as other HP-sets too! It's crazy such a small set has an exclusive "bigfig" and a rare villain minifigures - even two of them (and a new broom!)! HP-fans...we having it good, and it's happening right now! -

The main tower and Astronomy towere arenot _that_ different in height to change the possible display height. Sure Astronomy Tower can be bigger than the Main Tower...but it's called "main" tower because it contains some more important/more popular places inside. Not because it's slightly taller than others. -

The anticipation is quite exciting, and I hope we have at least 2 more years of this line. One of those roofs absolutely need Hungarian Horntail, and hopefully we will get a "minifigure scale" one eventually. -

Does anyone have any idea what size display case (or cabinet) will need to be used for the final Hogwarts castle? This line is my main expectation from Lego, and I'm having fun collecting it piece by piece. (I'm trying to figure out the approximate size given the two parts of the castle that we currently have (the tower is the tallest part, so at least we've figured out the height..?) The thought of building a giant castle in the end, decorating it (lighting, MOC-ing some parts of it, adding charactershere and there, expanding stuff like Forext...may be building an aquatic part around it) is sure a great thing to think about. This is a collection of sets that require significant space planning, because it will bring joy for many years to come. -

I hope there will be a separate set with the whole First Task theme. lego already updated many old sets and made some new crazy stuff like Aunt Marge... I think they can totally do a new "minifigure scale" Hungarian Horntail. -

Oh yeah that's an obvious next move! I'm so excited for it. and for the whole chamber with tube going down! (i wonder how they will make the abandoned bahroom build. The 76386 set with that "down the tube" action was one of the most fun sets of the previous castle line!) -

Oh wait... What if every part of the Castle will come with a new mold for a HP-creature? We got Troll then the Fluffy figure. I so hope each part will be coming with a new exclusive monster. I wonder who can come with the next part! -
LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
VinnieCannoli replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
I hope we will see "kids oriented" sets eventually. If not - there won't be anything interesting to me. These +18-priced black boxes for afols are my least favorite thing in Lego and i would never want pokemon in this style. Sonic is a perfect example of sets that both-adults and kids love. +18 is those sets people post on reddit as black boxes they probably are not going to open because it's "an investment". I already see scalpers calculating profits before these sets even released. Harry Potter is another good example - lots of fun stuf + afol stuff. I will be glad if Lego will go this route making all kinds of sets for everybody from holiday calendars, minifigure magazines and polybags to "adult" products. Pokemon cards hobby is already kinda stressful these days. At least make lego look fun, come on! -

I was also thinking about getting a second hall - to build and put all my HP-minifigures on display and have fun with it while other parts are sealed. Because this whole castle position/display is a project of itself. I keep all my castle parts sealed for now. I will be able to be sure where I can put the final castle only after it is fully released... I can't imagine how dusty it will be and how difficult it will be to clean this whole thing so I have to prepare a separate safe place for this castle first (may be i will reposition some part of my house for it or try to get a display case for it... haha)... PS: yeah, I've been pretty happy about prices of this line so far. Some italian supermarkets put smaller sets (classrooms and other tiny parts like that Duel-set) on sale and it's usually 13-16eur for smaller castle parts... People talk about lego being expensive but these HP-sets are really normal prices-wise. This whole castle line is pretty exciting and cool so far! I have many collecting hobbies and The Most Deailed Castle is the BEST of them all. 1) everything is cheaper than MSRP due to discounts that come eventually 2) no scalpers or fake hype (hi pokemon cards) 3) everything is cool and fun This is like an chill oasis in a sea of stressful collectable hobbies. -

Just like last year got amazing deals on Amazon for the most detailed Hogwarts. Got the tower for just 170euros (I got the Great Hall for 140eur last October). Keep in mind not to buy those 200+ Hogwarts sets when they come out if you think these are a bit pricey. Just wait for autumn each year. In general this huge castle is pretty much affordable. (but not space-wise, haha) -

Yeah i think it's logical we will get a Basilisk. So far nothing tells otherwise. It's like "the trio of famous giant HP-beasts that were inside of a castle". I think Hungarian Horntail is also possible. It's a huge key-part of books and movies. The dragon is not a part of a castle but we can get a separate set so you can put Horntail on a castle roof later. So far this line was going good enough to be very optimistic about it (i mean...they even gave us a literal build of inflated aunt Marge - at this point we can get anything haha ) -
LEGO Dreamzzz 2025 Rumours and Discussion.
VinnieCannoli replied to Agent Kallus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
So much this. Dreamzzz is one of 2 lego themes that still gives me excitement. Like when you get a set - you keep thinking about what it can be used for as an upgrade/parts donor or how fun it will be to upgrade it or do all kinds of stuff with it to make it even cooler/bigger/more awesome. Only Nexo Knights and Chima gave me a feeling like that. That submarine makes me want to get that other shark submarine we got from the Ninjago Movie. The only thing that can make Dreamzzz even more epic is if it gives us another gigantic robotic elephant, so we will have 3 (the other 2: Chima Mammoth, Yellow tusk from Monkey Kid)...come on Dreamzzz - one more elephant please!
