This year TLG so messy up with pricing. Look at Star Wars side. More worst than Technic. Review on Lego website are 1.5 stars for most of sets released on August.

I not sure will works or not. Step 133 change 24 tooth to 20 tooth gear. Step 169 Change 12 tooth to 16 tooth gear Step 171change 20 tooth to 16 tooth gear.

Must be the Heavy Arm. To lift up heavy arm requires alot of torque plus designer know single L motor are insufficient if didnt geardown.

Because it really bad. Unplayable. 44 Sec for rise / lower Boom , 44 Sec to rise / lower Stick , 23 Sec for rise / lower the bucket. Almost 2 minute to do whole things. Positive thing to say? what positive thing? New triangle pieces? that not exclusive. Jan 2026 set will have it. Big prices increase yes but Airbus helicopter 200 USD and now jump to 430 USD? For alot old AFOL own 8043, This set gets even lower score.

All I heard was the motor struggles when try to lift up heavy arm. 1 motor with too much gear making it too underpower. I hope JB70 will come up with his Pimp my 42215 soon.

2 months ago already confirm no rechargeable battery. From Lego official image already confirm the hub is "dumb hub"..same as 42145 Airbus Helicopter.

From Control+ app. Default speed is battery saving mode. Turbo charge mode will be max speed with fast battery drain.

Similar to 42176. Faster RPM was "Turbo Charge" mode

If Lego want to be cheapskate. Those rainbow colour all will be sticker. Based will be full black Technic beams and panels.

This set Lego designer feel like Olav Kroigaard. Gearbox distribution layout similar to 42082. Slow functions movement but it will delivered the functions well and stable.

One of the Lan member Alex Nunes already received 2025 Technic August wave from his latest video. Expecting Racingbricks @kbalage also same. This week or next week should have review on those August wave. For me, 42215 will be one of the worst flagship of the year which is similar to 2017 "42070"

The sales of this Excavator will be very bad similar to Hulk Buster and Liebherr Crane. Very soon Lego will put big discount on it for boost the clearance sales. In My Country (Malaysia) it go up as 50% discount sales for stock clearance.

42215 Official Price in Malaysia was Rm1949.90. Crazy!!! McLaren P1 only Rm1899.90.

Copy Paste Error from Lamborghini Reveulto RC. 42215 "Dumb" Battery does not have Rechargeable ability. It cannot charge thru USB Cable. Replacement Missing Part from Lego already confirm it had same Part Number as Light House & Airbus Helicopter.

Lego missing part replacement site and Brickset web already confirm.42215 dumb hub will be same as Airbus Helicopter and Lighthouse. No rechargeable ability.

42215 didn't run with rechargeble battery hub. It still using dumb battery box from Osprey & Airbus Helicopter. From Lego Official Website, you can see the Dumb Battery Box very obviously.

Cool set with gearbox selection of functions. But $429.99 are too much for single L motor and dumb battery box. Unless Lego give very interesting GWP or else I will wait it drop to approx $280.00 only purchase it.
