  1. I've decided to stop working on my AT-AT, but if someone wants the Bricklink file with the leg I can send it to you. They're roughly in minifigure scale (slightly too big) and are poseable, using technic turntables and wormgears which can be screwed from the outside. The ankles are also posable, with the leg standing on the "horse-shoe", as are the toes. I haven't built them in real life so I don't know for sure how sturdy they are, but I believe they should be ok.
  2. This looks fantastic! It's very faithful to the original design, including the interior. Excellent work. Is it sturdy? It looks like it is. How many joints can be posed in the legs? Only thing I noticed that maybe could be a small flaw is that the legs look like they could be made longer if it's an ESB AT-ST. They look very long on the movie model.
  3. Is there a way I can see your AT-ST? I'm curious now :)
  4. They look amazing. Very good work!
  5. No way, I'm not wealthy enough for that!
  6. Most of the work on the panels is finished! It took me ages getting them to line up properly. There are still some minor things that need to be done, but they are 90% complete. I might change the snot surfaces, I'm not sure I'm happy with the way they look. The "exposed" parts in the back needs more details also.
  7. I try to be mindful about it being sturdy IRL, but I guess it depends on how heavy it ends up being and how sturdy Lego is, which I'm not sure about, I haven't built with Lego since childhood. Maybe a great builder could figure it out how to motorize it, but I wouldn't have a clue. Yes, the legs are too wide, here's a render of the leg I couldn't figure out a way to use technic turntables in the joints while making the legs narrower unfortunetly.
  8. More pics
  9. Hi! I'm building an AT-AT in Bricklink Studio. I want it to be roughly in minifigure scale and have posable legs. So far I've finished the leg. I'll add updates here as I try to get it finished.
  10. Lego's AT-AT uses the large technic turntable for the legs in the picture below. It weights 12,5 kg, so the turntables carry a lot of weight in a vertical position. I'm building an moc AT-AT in Bricklink Studio which will be at least as heavy and want to use the small turntables instead in the picture. Do you think the small turntable are as strong as the big one?
