  1. Thank you for keeping working on this.
  2. Oh my! CS just informed me they will send me the new stickers… so another ticket for the wrong spelling?
  3. @R0Sch If there are concerns about the length of the cable, perhaps you can adopt this solution as powered up cable extension: https://www.lightmybricks.eu/collections/diy-powering-lego-lights/products/lego-powered-up-cable-power-functions-2-0
  4. Hi there! @ToledoRails Kindly allow me to point a possible minor mistake in your list of parts… Instead of 8654 (which I cannot find in bricklink) I think it should write 18654. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you for both answers. @something_fabulous I will stick wit the L motor concept and time permitting will try all solutions found in this forum for OE motorization. Regarding the hub batteries I have watched many YT videos about it and ended up that LIPO ZNTER 9V are a good solution but are not readily available n EU.(BUWIZZ is far better but at a really high cost and I need 6!)
  5. Thanks for the info! Unfortunately it will take some time for the parts to arrive, plus I haven’t even started building the train due to lack of time :( BTW, I suppose this L motor will need lots of power to move such a big train, so I would like to ask the following: a. Is the medium motor also a good solution or the L motor is much better? b. With the L motor, what kind of batteries you recommend to be used in the powered up hub for both duration and high voltage? Thank you for your time!
  6. Excellent, thank you! Regarding the modification you are about to do, will we need more pieces? I am about to place an order and would really like to know which pieces are needed. Thank you!
  7. And the first motorisation MOC appeared in RB: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-165803/StijnD/21344-orient-express-motorization-powered-up/#details And there is a reference to black rubber belts to replace the red x37 in the link below: https://habricks.com/shop/black-rubber-belts-10x/ I still have no idea which size L, XL etc is appropriate for our case (x37 replacement).
  8. Hello again, Following @Train of Thought Creations post with the bricklink list of parts needed for the motorization of OE, I was wondering if @R0Sch and @ToledoRails could also post the bricklink lists of parts of their motorization projects? Note: @R0Sch it would be nice to have the bricklink list of parts for both versions 3 and 4.
  9. Excellent! Thank you so much!
  10. This is the reason I bought mine from a LEGO store, despite the fact they charge you 320€ instead of 300 and that they give only one GWP gift instead of 2 gifts if ordered online. I even had the chance to ask them (Lego store) to keep it in the original shipping carton box which provided really good protection to the set box. Side note: Regarding DPD service… I received all 3 (big) orders from lightmybrick in excellent condition, but my 3 online LEGO orders have not arrived yet to give you reliable feedback. Still it took 2+ weeks for the packages to arrive! :(
  11. Thanks a lot @kbalage @Train of Thought Creations I am am few hours only old in this forum and cannot send private msg. I saw your studio files here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GdF8gnV8qMdnqXBwYLaGCPI9JJdKdmgE/view?usp=sharing but I have no idea how to use these files, plus for the next few days will not have access to a PC (only iPad) and would really appreciate the it if you could just post the list of parts needed here including all the refinements you have done until now, so that I order these. Thank you for your time!
  12. Hi there! I finally got my OE set yesterday, even though the Lego shop I bought it from had it since two weeks ago. Needless to say that thanks to @kbalage review and the fact that for sure I would get the first batch, I tried to get the correct stickers from Lego CS beforehand, but they declined my request saying that they have no stock of correct stickers until the release day :( plus there would be a chance as they said, for me to have the correct stickers… of course not :( I send them pictures with the orange stickers I have :( Anyway, I would like to thank you all for the wonderful ideas for motorization. @kbalage would it be possible to post the mod you finally did for motorization based on the L motor (which seems the best option imho) plus the two gold push pins ? that brace the rear of the motor as referred by @Train of Thought Creations Again, thank you all for sharing this info and @kbalagefor your eye-opening reviews !!!
