  1. Hewman where did you get the info on this Toys R Us sale, I have checked out their promotions page but nothing there. My Daughter loves the City sets.
  2. Very interesting. I love seeing behind the scenes and finding out how they produce all those different sets and yes I also want to be a Lego designer lol, what a job.
  3. Found two 10212 sets left in our Castletown BigW (Townsville) but not reduced.
  4. Gday Mate Im new to Brick Link also. Living in Townsville, North Queensland. Bit warmer up here lol
  5. I have one of these on order and now I see this thread. Like I need more incentive to spend money on Lego lol. Great job btw
  6. 7206 Fire Helicopter and 7207 Fire Boat for my daughter. I may even let her put them together lol
  7. I can confirm that they have the 7206 Fire Helicopter, 7207 Fire Boat and 7213 Off Road Truck all for 29.99 at the Willows BigW in Townsville. Quite a few 7206 and 7207 sets left but only 1 7213. No luck finding a 10212 Imperial Shuttle though, the guy on the floor told me they sold quite quick in that store. We have two more BigW's here so I am going to check them out on the weekend.
  8. I have had pretty good experience with B&N, they always seem to split up my order (most recent one is coming in 6 pieces lol). The boxes have all arrived in good condition but shipping time has been between 16 days and 24 days.
  9. Thanks for the info dotmike, apologies for incorrect posting. I will be going to Big W now that I have seen the discussion and check out what they have them for as there were a couple of sets left in our local store. Not sure if many of the Aussie members live in Far North Queensland though lol
  10. Hopefully on their way in the mail is 10188, 10129 and 10134. I am still not sure wether finding BrickLink was a good or a bad thing for me lol
  11. It all makes sense now lol. I have unopened sets but thats because I ration them and because I hope to move into a new house sometime soon (been a long time coming) and I dont want to move the assembled Lego. Knowing that I would never open the box would probably kill me though :)
  12. I think I paid approximatly $ 321 (inc shipping) getting mine through Lego USA / Price USA. Seems reasonable but still not as good as the USA retail price of course. Since I found Brick Link the only other store I have still used is Barnes and Noble they just don't seem to get the UCS stuff or a very large range but good prices and cheap shipping.
  13. Hello Justin another Euro Bricks noob here. I may not understand but do you collect sets and never open the box? (see told you I was a noob).
  14. Hi yes plenty to look at and far to much enticement to expand my Lego collection lol Oh and I dont mind a bit of Lego Technic fun also :)
  15. Hello from Townsville, Australia. I am another old timer who has refound Lego. When I was a young fella I was hooked on the Lego Space sets that came out in the early 80's. I remeber two sets I was lucky enough to get, really well: 6971 Intergalatic Command Base and 6985 Cosmic Fleet Voyager. I still have most of those sets in a big plastic container. I re found Lego a few years back when saw some Star Wars UCS sets 10143, 10174, 10175. I of course had no choice but to buy these sets. This was a financial mistake! As I have collected a few more since then (Dam you Lego for bringing out Star Wars UCS), so anyway I got hooked all over again and here I am. Nice to see there are other Lego tragics out there :) Cheers
