So, based on recently learned lore does that mean the bikes are turned off?

Great list! I also would love a Ninjago CMF, even if it would mostly be taken up by main characters. I imagine designers would feel pressured to include new variants of all six original ninja and now also Arin and Sora, if not also Wyldfyre. Plus with Wu, Pixal, and Garmadon, that’s already 12 characters without really leaving the main cast. I think it would be hard to justify including someone like Sorla or Faith, who definitely had major roles in their respective seasons but ultimately have been absent for years, over someone like Jay, who every kid knows and is many’s favorite character. That’s also the reason I was thinking about bonus anniversary figs over something like a CMF.
The only minifig i could ever ask lego to do in a ninjago cmf is a tv show accurate Shadowind. Yea I know its chima not ninjago. I'm just hoping with the merge more chima lore is spotlighted. But that really is the big issue with a cmf that 11 of the modern 12 slots would be taken up by the main cast. No room for side characters.

I'm so glad this thread exists. It documents the exact post that was lost to time.

maybe not exactly for pirates, But I eventually would like to have displays similar to this, but with more bricks. Predominantly for my chima and space sets. A youtuber I used to watch a lot got me into making my own displays you would see in toy fairs and old commercials. so I love the aesthetic a lot.

That sounds a lot like Joust 10223.
To be fair most jousting sets are kind of the same. looking at set 383 and 6060. I just think we need one to go with modern castle line up.

This feels like it could have released in the 90s. So good.
-
Have you thought about the green being tan or dark nougat? Most dinosaur fossils tend to be found in badlands areas. Great build that keeps in the spirt of classical 90s adventures!
-
I don't know how much its been talked about in this thread. After getting my hands on the lion knights castle and Lego releasing the medieval town square earlier in the year. We really need a jousting set.
-
Probably Ninjago city gardens. I was just a long build. I wouldn't say anything is physically painful to me when building. That's usually what happens when I build gunpla. By the end my back aches.

Blacktron II’s transhumanism connects back to the Series 3 cyborg Space Villain, and could be the reason for the Blacktron I—Blacktron II split - Blacktron II wanted to pursue genetic and cybernetic experimentation to augment themselves, while Blacktron I did not, leading to a schism within the faction.
Ahh, so that's why blacktron II has always been my favorite faction, It always goes back to Transhumanism with me lol.

A more radical idea would be for TLG to create a large scale (i.e. 2000+ pieces) version of the Sea Serpent (i.e. a medieval cog made to similar proportions to 70618 Destiny's Bounty). I'd rate this as a low likelihood at present, but something I'd love to see happen. TLG knows ships sell well, and such a set would, I think, have broad appeal with Castle and Pirates fans.
Personally, Id love a castle theme dedicated to monsters and dungeon crawling. More a kin to DnD and Dragon Quest. While yes there is that DnD set coming out or is out? But id want this to be a theme closer to Fantasy era castle, maybe a bit more colorful. I just find the dungeon crawling ascetic is something Lego hasn't really done and needs to do. I just find Lego tends to focus on medieval warfare and obviously castles. I grew up in the fantasy era and play a lot of JRPGS so I feel that's were my biases lie.

They've been teasing like crazy forever with Classic Space astronauts. Target had the plushies, a notepad, gift bag/gift wrap, and tee shirts. There were also a couple jigsaw puzzles. There have been more Classic Space merch items released than Classic Space sets! It all seems to be leading up to nothing.
Imagine if lego just stated a line of classic space sets just with more modern engineering. I think the issue is its just un tested waters at this point

I feel lego legends was ahead of its time. Re-releasing classic sets today if they had the molds I can see being way better received. I feel most set re-released under the legends banner were too young. Its not like lego was making money off people who wanted an easier way to get older product that had ridiculous after market prices. At least these are my assumption based on Transformers G1 Commemorative line. It helped balance out the bad after market in the early 2000s from my understanding. I think its also safe to say that back then the after market for those sets most likely wasn't that bad.

OOH, really good base. Very much as the feeling of sets from that era with the huge parts.

Honestly it's kinda surprising to me that so many people interpret M:Tron as a mining-focused faction, because they were originally developed as a rescue/emergency response faction, and were primarily marketed as such outside North America (such as in this shop video, this TV commercial, and set names from Britain, Australia, and most of continental Europe).
This is the only way I can think of M-tron. I was always confused when people called them a "mining" faction. But I grew up with power miners and rock raider. Now those are miners. I consider rock raider to be the mining faction of space.
Also I love those old shop video's

I still wouldn´t rule a wolfpack tower out
I'm scared that if the do a wolfpack set and it's a remake of set 6038 Wolfpack Renegades, it will be a GWP. I just want sets on retail shelves again. Also 6038 is my most wanted set to be remade from the line up of wolfpack.

Ah good to hear! I’ll try to find those comics then!
Overall, I read the first 4 volumes and I found them pretty funny. As a die hard dragon ball fan I also tend to prefer the more light hearted earlier parts of the story overall.

I think white color is prety suitable for spaceship as it’s more visible against vast blackness of the universe (even tho we had Blacktron). Just saying.
The theme to me overall plays everything too safe. I much prefer the colors of 90s space going out their with the factions. When it come to space in all of science fiction I tend to have a similar philosophy like Jodorowsky wanted for his Dune project in the mid 70s. Go all out with the colors and design and get away from NASA punk styling.

i really like that the color scheme on this spacecraft - white, gray and blue. It’s not that terrible at all. It surprised when it does have a functionality - pressing a button to “start” engines to take off with my imagination.
I'm not too big on the color scheme. I'm honestly sick of the white and orange, or maybe white in general/ I prefer slugger renditions of the colors opting for a sand blue as the main color and trans neon orange. But otherwise its a great set. The gimmick is easily the best part.

25 Ninjago sets coming next year, so less than this year unfortunately. Set numbers range from 71823 to 71848, and there’s a missing set, 71835. From Fateful_lego. Thanks!
I'm all down for less, Ninjago has been a bit pricey lately. It will be a bit easier on the wallet.

Man this makes me want to go back an finish the manga

Yea kind of. Its early dragon ball but way stupider, in the absolute best way possible.

I’m not urge if I follow you but I do hope it’s a Monstrous Fortress set.
So far I think the villain sets have been the standout of the theme. I'm scared if its bad, Lego is going to say people don't like villain sets, without ever acknowledging the the product is garbage.

latest magazine has a mention of the Nightmare King's "Monstrous Fortress" , wonder if that will be a set.
If it is a set, I really hope they don't screw it up. I find most buildings in action adventure themes are just bland walls emulating buildings. I really hope it could be like Jestro's Volcano Lair or even The Lion Chi Temple from my beloved Chima.

Seeing the list of sets, it seems like we have a bit of a resurgence with villains.
Ras and Arin jet Super Storm Jet, Dragonian Village, and the Storm Dragon. All in the first half year.
So spoiler time. I wonder if Ras is going to have a redemption based on the ending of S2P2. Especially if he's doing spinjitzu in the 2 pack. I at least think this will be the start of a redemption arc. I think for part 1 and maybe part 2 of season 3, Ras and Arin are going to be the anti hero's of the story. Against the Ninja, but also against the forbidden five. I thin well also get Ras full backstory. Besides maybe his master but only time will tell. I also really hope that rumor chi will be tied to elemental powers turns out to be true.
