I opted for short floating shelves

this has been the easiest series to collect the whole set for me. 2 trips to Walmart. First trip bought 30 bags, felt through them at home. Opened 13, kept one unopened Roman. Returned 16 (I don't want to hoard them) and felt through their remaining packs in store to get the last 3 missing from the set. Awesome!! If only the Robot had more of a square box head instead of a rectangular box. If that was the case it would've been my favourite.

I'm glad he comes with regular legs. I don't like those unpossable short legs.

went to the local collectable shop and picked up 4 hockey players, 5 lizard men, 1 mummy, and 1 gorilla suit from the cmf lines.

I'd also like to see "black figures", maybe colour variations of existing figs, like a blue boxer etc.

this is the first series where I don't dislike any figure. I'm usually not a fan of female figures, but these ones are great.

that robot and genie are awesome it's too bad they look like they won't fit my display cases.

preference to trading within north america all my figures are opened and complete, come in a clear plastic baggy with all parts and accessories (unless otherwise noted) but no pamphlet. haves series 3 1x sumo wrestler 1x space alien (missing laser beam) series 4 2x lawn gnome's 1x hazmat guy series 5 2x small clown 1x zoo keeper 1x royal guard wants series 5 many lizard men any series cmf baseplates I'd do a 10 plates for 1 minifig trades

I would produce different hands and arms. Imagine adding various Megaman blasters onto your minifigs, or some arms with elbow joints?

That's theme specific though. I don't want to discriminate between genres.

Reading through the many posts on this fantastic site, it seems many of you have a huge collection of minifigs of one kind. With that, any of you care to share a picture of your armies/swarms?

I bought the ikea Ribba shadow boxes ($10 CAD ea.) painted the outer frame Grabbed a bunch of paint stir sticks from home depot and cut the down for shelves. Painted the shelves white and glued them to the inner frame of the shadow box. I lightly glued the base plate of the figures to the shelves. attached the minifigs backed the frame with a piece of coloured scrapbook paper. done. the entire project costs around $11 just finished series 2 box.

is there a link to previous winners? I'd like to see them.

i was thinking of gluing some flat coloured bricks on the frame (front and back)instead og painting. It give it more of a lego feel and let the frames lock together if i were to put them away.
