  1. I really don't see that being the case. From what I remember back when the set released most fans were satisfied with it. If there was a set for which the legacy version didn't do enough justice, then that would have been the Ultra Sonic Raider. That one was missing so many features that the original had, that it felt more like a remake of the 2016 one.
  2. The X-1 ninja charger feels like the worst option for the last 15th anniversary set. The previous legacy version was a perfect improvement from the original in almost every way. While this doesn't look that great on paper I feel like they could add some things to make it a lot better. I would really love to see it done in the style of a diorama. This new version will have 92 more pieces, so I'd actaully see them making the car a bit smaller, and with it they could include a part of a road to which you could attach the car plus some nindroid hover vehicles to make it more dynamic. I don't see this set having just the car when it's targeted at older fans. The Land Bounty on the other hand sounds really great to me. It shouldn't be a legacy version of the 2019 one, but I always love mobile base type sets, so this immediately has my interest.
  3. The Blacksmith shop is simply amazing. There is just so much attention to detail (like with the weapons being the same as in the old Kai and Nya spinners, or the hidden 2011 cards). It looks a bit small for the price, but I think the level of detail justifies it. The aniversary minifigures are the old elemental masters, and from the back of the box we know at least who 6/7 of them are . This set is definitely a must have for me. The minifigs list for The Old Town looks that great that I'm not sure if it's real. I remember seeing this leaker as the source of some other set leaks, I can't remember any of them, but I think he's reliable. Now with this set having 3 15th nniversary minifigs, then that means that there is only going to be 1 more set with an aniversary minifig in the summer wave. That makes it easier to collect them all, but that also means less aniversary sets(unless there could be some without aniversary minifigures).
  4. The life dargon(or Arc dragon of the whispering wood as it is called in that text on top) looks very odd to me. There's just too much different details going on there, especially the back legs being almost all gray and rock themed, while there is only little bits of that on the wings and tail. But we only have this image so far, so maybe with more angles of the build my opinion could change. Either way from this wave I'm most likely going to just get Jay's car and Cole's Mission mech. Which combined just like this set have 2 dragon ninja, 3 regular ninja, and the same 3 villains for like $20 cheaper. Sora is in her previous suit, but at least it's not 1:1, as now she has a half mask and a golden shoulder armor. Arin is all new, there isn't really a great look at him, so I can't really judge this design now. I only predict that this Arin would definitely be reused in the summer wave. It's probably going to be in the Riyu set and in one of the spinners.
  5. It's neat that the 2 sets that I was the most interested in got revealed first. There's some changes with the minifigures, one is great, while the other isn't. A loyalist is also included in the Cole mech, and in Jay's Car Nya isn't in her dargon suit. Jay's Car - For me this is the best looking Jay car that we got, although I didn't find the other ones too interesting, but this one indeed looks great. It does feel a bit overpriced, but it's not too bad. I think that the transformation feature is going to be like in Tormak's Shadow Blazer from Chima, so only the front part of the car rotates to have the dragon details from the bottom be on the top. Cole's mech - I don't see how it has more pieces then Jay's car. It looks to be the size of Kai's elemental mech, which for the same price and similar piece count also had a villain mech, but there isn't that much of a great look at it, so it could feel more like the price with better pictures. Other then that It does feel like a great representation of Cole's golem form. I love how many weapons it's got, especially the blaster, as you don't get much of this type of weapon from Ninjago. Zane's helicopter is weird, as we didn't know about it before. It might seem that it's in the vehicle battle at Treehouse, but that set now has bike in it's name. So I think that it's actually a new set, which is a lego store exclusive like Lloyd's elemental mech, and we also didn't know about that set until it got officially revealed. Also this would eat up at least 100 pieses(It might even be 200) that could have gone to the treehouse. Now the vehicle itself dosn't interest me at all. The ninja using the same torso and legs both in their regular and dragon versions, feels expected, as there are already so many new minifigure designs for this year. That's also nice as the dragon ninja are just upgraded versions of the regular suits, so you could only get the dragon ninja to have all the new ninja suits. I don't feel like Euphrasia needed a new suit, but that's still a welcome inclusion. Now this 2 sets combined feel like such a great value for only around $80. As there are all the originall ninja except Lloyd, plus all the new villains except that green one.
  6. It felt so long since we had new information for the 2026, but that might be because of how much we got for recent waves. Both the 15th anniversary sets sound way better then I could have ever expected, I think I'd want to get both of these. I'm only curious on what these anniversary figs are. Since they are just called Elemental masters of something, so they might even be the previous Elemental masters. Now the s4 set minifigure descriptions are just weird. We know that there are 3 Elemental Monsters(Purple snake, Earth, Tentacle), but here there are only 2. The Earth monster is there, and Snake has to be the Poison Monster. The Tentacle one could be in the 4 sets we don't have descriptions for, but images of it leaked along side the Loyalist, and these were from The Dragon of Life set wth dragon Cole and Lloyd. That set already has 8 minifigures for €100 so it couldn't have been just skipped. So either the Earth or Poison monster is actually the tentacle one, but these names don't fit that one, and are perfect for the other 2 leaked villains. All that illogical information just feels too confusing for me, and I'll just wait for some better explanation for the villain minifigures. It's great that at least 2 of the sets come with two dragon ninja, as that should make it easier to collect them all, but still it's at least €250 to get them all, plus we are getting the anniversary minifigures. So unless the magazines help with that, I only see myself trying to get at least one of them, and that's it. The Ninja Motorcycle Battle at treehouse on one hand is great, since it comes with Euphrasia, but It also comes with the 2 ninja that got new motorcycles recently.
  7. The description sounds a bit too good to be true, with it being a 447 piece $45 set with 8 minifigures(which are most likely exclusive here). Also I'm not even sure who the original source of this information is. But this might also be real, as some of the set information for this year, also came from unusual places. What I do know is that the sets list with Garmadon's dark fortress is 100% fake.
  8. It might seem weird that we are getting a remake of that set now. But next year it would be 7 years since that set released, and that is the same amount of time as Rise of the Snakes to Legacy. So that makes it's inclusion a lot more justified in my opinion. It's also going have over 400 more parts then the original(that also makes it the largest mech of all time), so that should make it feel like the UCS version of the original. I'm personally quite excited about this, as that set has to be the set that I regret not getting the most from this theme. Also there could be a new Akita minifigure here, and that's especially great as she is very expensive to get now.
  9. Soundwave so far Looks simply amazing, and he feels like the best Lego Transformer so far. You can literally say "Soundwave superior, Autobots inferior". It doesn't look like there is any parts forming, except the shoulder blaster and the weapons for Ravage and Laserbeak. Thats just like his G1 toy, so its completely fine. For me personally the best detail is how the chest opens by just pressing a button, it's simple but very effective. From the video so far the sound brick can play the G1 theme, as well as he can say his name(it cuts of, so I think it will be his iconic line). I would expect that there's more sounds, but if not then what's included is still really solid. Now I only hope he doesn't have parts that detach easly, since that was a big problem with Optimus.
  10. There are small descriptions for some of the 2026 sets, I've only seen it from Ridexninjagoleaks on instagram, so I'm not sure if they are real. But the leaked sets list had information on these exact sets, so they might be real. 71855 - Riyu has golden horns, and armor. includes Arin, Dragon Sora, Vine Monster. 71866 Anniversary display $50 378pcs - includes 4 displays for Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane with their golden weapons. Golden Jay is included. 71858 Blacksmith shop $100 884pcs - minifigures: Zane, Cole, Jay, Kai, Nya and Wu, plus golden Kai (inspired by his original suit) 71851 Kai's mech battle pack $10 - The mech has wings, includes Kai, Tentacle Monster, and Sand villain. There's also a small red dragon included. It's great that not only the original ninja get dragon forms, and that makes the Riyu set more interesting to me, as this version of Sora will most likely be exclusive there. I'm not really a fan of the Anniversary minifigures being just Golden version of the ninja again, but that makes me question on how will they be done this time. It would be great if this time around they would have the same type of suits, and not each ninja getting a suit based on a different season. I also see it maybe being like before, but this time the suits will be based on seasons 1-7 The anniversary display sounds great with 5 minifigures(which I think will be exclusive) for $50, but it also has a price per part of a Marvel set.
  11. There's a new clip with a raptor and mutadon fighting, so the new mold should be for the raptor. But I also thought the same at first, as it's very weird that they didn't show the Raptors for this long.
  12. We did also get a description for 71859, the dragon is nature themed with tree branches for horns, and leaves on the wings. Includes 8 minifigures: Dragon Cole, Lloyd, Green villain, Hooded villain, Purple Snake, Sora, Zane, and Arin. This is one of the better sounding sets lists in a while. It's great that they are continuing the $10 mech battle packs, and that we get another transforming vehicle. I'm the most interested in the Life Dragon so far(and that could easly change as it's the only one to have a description), since you get most of the new villains there, plus Sora and Arin for who I try to get every suit. Now there are definitely 2 versions of the Ninja in these sets, with the regular suits, and the special dragon versions. I expect all of the 6 original ninja to get them except Jay, but I'm not too sure about that, as he isn't called Rogue anymore in the set names. The anniversary sets also sound great. I don't really see just the Blacksmith shop being $90, so it would be really neat if we got one of the skull vehicles with it. 71861 The Old Town I think could be that J village(I don't know how to spell it) where the ninja first fought against the Hypnobrai.
  13. The next magazine will include Storm suit Lloyd. Thanks to the march wave he is quite common now. But both of the march Dragons are on the more expensive side, and another Lloyd car or especially the 4+ I don't see being too interesting for most fans. So I'd say that overall this is a solid inclusion. I only find it weird that this is going to be the 5th s3 magazine, but we didn't get any villains yet.
  14. Overall I'd say that this set wave is mostly great, but it still has some problems. The best set here for me is Lloyd's jet mech, as it might just be a perfect Ninjago set. There's just so much good things to be said about it: 1. It's got a transforming feature that changes the build quite a lot. 2. this is the first jet for Lloyd .3 the minifigures here are all great 4. the 2 side builds are much larger then I expected, and especially the dragon here is great. So this set is definitely a must have for me. I wasn't too sure on what to think about Rogue's mech dragon, but after seeing more images and the in-hand video I might be sold on it. The mech is the best part for me, as it's got plenty of neat accesories on the body that make it stand out in a good way(especially the cape which was a surprise, as it wasn't shown on the first leaked image) All the minifigures here are great, but only 4 seems too little for the price. I really wasn't a fan of Rontu from the first image, and my opinion on it hasn't changed after the official reveal. The combat vehicle looks great, even when all of the builds are seperated. But the price is just way too much, as well as the minifigures aren't too interesting, except Frak, but I bet he will be the exact same in the next wave. So it's a skip for me. I don't really have much to say about the smallest sets, but they are just fine. The Bounty is absolutely gorgeous, I love how much interior there is in it. But I just don't have the budget, or space for it. Also the number of minifigures here is low, and I only really care about half of them, So I'd pass on this. I don't care anout the Guardion dragon, which does look amazing, but that is really the only thing it does. But the Fire Knight mech on the other hand feels quite neat. It's got the standard poseability for a large Ninjago mech, so that's great. However even on that platform it's smaller then nearly all large Ninjago mechs. The piece of terrain included with it is really nice, as it also would be nice for displaying other minifigures or stuff. The only problem for me is the price, so I'd just wait for a fine deal for it, and then I'd definitelly get it, as it's a must have for me, and the only problem that I've got with it is the price
  15. The trailer really got me excited on Legends, even more then how I usually get excited for new Ninjago content. Just because how fresh(and also great) this sounds. The dark black and white art style is the perfect option to make it have an uneasy and mysterious feel. What also helps is it being done in 2d and not the regular 3d animation. The story so far seems a lot more serious too, and it feels like there's so much that can be told there. Also the fact that it's called Ninjago Legends with Monstrosity as the tagline, might suggest that there will be more stories for legends that are unrelated to this storyline.
