  1. 43324: Buildable Lady and the Tramp. $79.99. Guessing it will come with a small "table" and spaghetti to make the famous date moment so could be pretty cute if executed well.
  2. Best: 1. Harry Potter (2018) The fact we finally got Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw robes is enough to put this at number one for me. So many asks and locations we had hoped for in the 2010 revival that went unanswered were answered between 2 CMF series and plethora of playsets that have come out. I think it also managed to toe the line between playsets and display pieces really well (although the classroom books/ house banner phase was weird) 2. Lord of the Rings. I might have put it higher except that many characters had already been represented before and are still missing some big players in this new line. Also wish there were some cheaper offerings. Love the detailed display pieces but I think there is room for more affordable sets, especially as army builders. 3. Pirates of the Caribbean. As someone who was so close to just MOC'ing my own Black Pearl, I was so happy to see this series come back. I think its a gorgeous build with nice characters (outside of Cotton missing his vest). I only hope it isn't a one and done and we get more ships for this line. The fact it is almost always on backorder makes me hope sales are high and not just lack of quantity. Worst: 1. Stranger Things. The first set was amazing and the Creel House feels like a cheaply thrown together set with inaccurate minifigures to boot. A more detailed house with more detailed and accurate characters would have made it a better investment. 2. DC. As a DC fan, I am so tired of the over reliance on Batman. Where is the Watchtower, the Hall of Justice, the Hall of Doom, the Daily Planet? The universe is so large but it feels like we only ever get love and attention to Batman. So disappointing when it arguably had one of the best waves in 2015 and never matched that level again. 3. Indiana Jones. I was rooting for this to make a larger comeback but alas, only 3 sets out of a planned 4. The Raiders diorama set is one of my all time favorite sets with being an interactive display model that I wish they would try and do more. I just feel like its too much of a risk with the current image and marketing strategies of the company but a Club Obi Wan, Flying Wing fight set, or a Venice set would have been appreciated.
  3. I think we are realizing just how much of a bubble we are in given HOW prominent the buildable figures are. There things must be doing huge numbers. I could cross my fingers they come with some minifigures included but not sure there is much of a trend to justify that hope.
  4. Could add Isabelle and Steve from Minecraft to the roster. Plus Pikachu with the molded figure coming in the same pokeball set. Hopefully a Peach and Luigi accompany Mario but otherwise I imagine Pokemon might be more reasonable fighters to hope for.
  5. Haven't seen it pop up on any other sites, but 2027 rumor is a buildable Eeyore and buildable Judy and Nick from Zootopia. If true, seems Lego Disney is really committing to the buildable figure design style for non Princess sets.
  6. Yikes. I feel like including the other side of the street would have justified the price but $400 for just a facade with almost no interior isn't it. Also, how criminal to make that hat mold and not give us Bert. I'm hoping there's a Disney CMF next year that can fix that.
  7. The latest leak named it Disneyland: Main Street USA so it most likely will be the California version. The naming convention also seems like a back door into more Park sets as well, like Disneyland: Haunted Mansion Disneyland: Space Mountain etc. Could be a reasonable work around to flagship sets by just leaning hard into the parks. Would hope this opens the door to more characters though. I also think we won't get any reveal until June. I think Main St. is coming out around June 18th so they may want to wait until June 4th to reveal
  8. More Info on 43002 Main Street set via Brick Tap $400 3899 pieces 10+ minifigures. Includes Mickey, Minnie, Dapper Dans (x4), tourists, employees. I feel like this confirms at least a semblance of minifigure scale but also seems to confirm no Disney chracters outside of Mickey and Minnie. Feel like they would have been reported here before the generic employees and tourists.
  9. Summer sets are revealed. Some thoughts: Lilo and Stitch minifigures are the same as the house set from last year. It's a pass from me. Happy to see the more accurate Lucifer back in a 4+ set. Might make him cheaper on the aftermarket for those of us who missed him first time around The Jasmine and Aladdin jewelry box looks great. Would be a nice display piece with some adjustments, may pick it up and replace with minfigures if it goes on sale. Really like the Little Mermaid Wedding boat. Works as a bigger set for the wave and happy to see the Triton headgear back, if only so I can grab some extras to experiment on getting a more minifigure accurate one. Still slightly bummed I don't have any Eric or human Ariel minifigures to swap into this one. *begins praying for a Disney CMF next year to rectify this*
  10. I desperately want to see the sales numbers on Disney sets to find out why they went this hard on buildable characters this year. We still have a buildable Kakamora in the pipline
  11. Slinky Dog bookends leaked. The build is not quite what I expected and yet exactly what it would be. I feel like the ability to put both ends together to make Slinky whole is just a sneaky way to get yet another buildable into this wave, though the Slinky minifigure looks decent if blurry. It does seem like it might be more Friends styled than anything
  12. Welp. I'll beg my wallet for forgiveness later. These look fantastic
  13. This actually sent me down a rabbit hole and turns out there IS a very specific list of characters that can pop up on Main Street. Had no idea it was a hardline. The following are: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, Chip, Dale, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Cruella De Vil, Dapper Dans, Mary Poppins, Bert Former Characters: Alice, White Rabbit, Belle, Captain Hook, Eeyore, Aurora, Snow White, B'rer Fox, Ariel, Queen of Hearts, Mulan Gaston, Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio, Mad Hatter, Penguin Waiter, Mr. Incredible, Mr. Smee, Peter Pan, Wendy, Rabbit, Rapunzel, Tweedle Dum, Tweedle Dee, Stitch Bolding the ones we haven't gotten figures of yet and not sure if Disney would take a characters historical presence into account or not. Given they used the new colors of Cinderella's Castle for the reissue, my bets would be towards the more current.
  14. Let's say its a minifigure scale facade, ala Diagon Alley. That set had 12 minifigures and I doubt Disney would allow any more than that for this, so how would we want to breakdown to fall? I could see 2 - 3 "tourists" with maybe 2 "cast members". Best estimates is it leaves us with 7 Disney figures, of which Mickey and Minnie would take 2 of those spots. What would we want for the other 5? Given how much I love the Mary Poppins and Bert Idea, I would want the following 1. Mary Poppins 2. Bert 3. Merida 4. Mad Hatter 5. Fairy Godmother
  15. Well we did say a park based set would be a candidate for flagship. No large 18+ set for an IP is disappointing.
