Wow i did not know there was one made. Very cool details, especially with the limited parts for large cars back then. Love the fuel cap function especially. Is it a sequential gearbox or a manual (H style shifting like the actual car)? I am having troubles on making a smaller manual gearbox haha. Thank you for the support and i look forward on the results myself! If you have time, check this out, its the WIP and see if you have suggestions. Thanks!

Okay so basically this is just a work in pogress of my 1:8 fk8 moc. So far ive made the front part with steering, suspension, and gearbox. (Ignore the engine for now) Up to now i am happy with the results of the suspension and steering (a hidden axle is linked to it where it will be connected to the steering wheel later on). The gearbox is a 6 speed manual gearbox (H styleshifting). It's bigger than i expected but i guess it's fine for now. The parts where i feel like needs a change is the shifter stick. Right now it is around 2.5 studs higher than the correct scale which kinda bothers me. Any improvements/suggestions will help! especialy for the shifting stick! These customizations are nice! Idk did you do it, but do minimize the amount of orders on bricklink, you can use Lego’s Pick a brick as it has some newer/rare parts. The suspension customizations are pretty good, and going chrome would top it off imo. About the printed Pagani tiles, could you drop its number or set its in? I couldn’t find it online. The amg logo is a very good idea, and executed well! I’m still deciding wether 75877 or the 76909 one fits more (but first I’ll have to do is to find one cheap) For now I’m not sure what to comment on the change of using hard springs cuz my parts haven’t arrived yet but for now they look Ike a fine modification. Hmm. I’ll see when my parts arrive, hopefully I can come up with a way to make a good roof scoop. Otherwise I’ll simply remove it from the image

I must have had a “brain malfunction” lmao yes roadsters will not have gull doors and a roof. And I’ll definitely customize it more as it’s my favourite part of building technic cars. If u missed the post above, the reason I asked if it’s a BC is because I am working on this display panel, similar to the sp3 one, which I wanted a more accurate title so asked. But I understand what u meant, so I’ll just put huayra BC then. Here’s the progress if u want to have a look and I would appreciate if you could give some feedback on what to change/improve there. (Ignore the placeholder text, for now just check the car/logos. Thanks) image: https://ibb.co/rF4GYNC

Ah I see then I’ll use red as well. I didn’t use the lambo for parts, as it would be out of my budget. Ive managed to keep everything under the price of the lambo (as for now only, cuz I have one more BL order needed). sadly the wheels would cost 1/10 of the price of a retail lambo which I assume is inevitable... with that said, time to get back to checking each store and come up with the cheapest plan to get the remaining 20 different items. (Bricklink auto buy function directs me to buy them from 10+ stores which will result in an unbearable shipping cost.) this will probably take another day but if it saves money I’ll do it (from my previous experiences it does save)

Well then I guess I’ll pay the price and get the pearls. Thanks for the hose tip as well. Although I’m not a fan of off brand legos but I’ll check it out anyways. The other parts are fine except the wheels are very expensive but I guess there’s not much of a choice (3D printer at home isn’t working as well :( so I might just buy them) Hope this doesn’t bother you but this should probably the the final “is this invisible” question 😂. You said 72008 can be replaced with red, does that also apply for the black model? (And where does it appear in?) thank you very much for all the help

@astyanax rn I’m in the final stages of ordering, did all the ones on PAB and some BL, only around 30 lots on BL left. However some parts (specifically 43093 black pin W/axle, 3L black pin, Pearl light grey with 2 axle hole, and the hoses) are quite expensive. I’ve checked the rebrickable for part replacements, but I don’t wanna ruin the looks. The black pins are unavoidable but what about the 41677 Pearl gray/hoses? Wanna know if 1. are the pearl gray 41677 pieces visible? 2. I’ve seen u meantioned this in the rebrickable post: ”BEWARE: the model requires cutting some (not all) of the rigid hoses shown in the inventory. All is explained in the instructions. Anyway, for the Red base model we need finally the following lengths:1x 26L in Gold1x 18L in Silver2x 16L (or 15L) in Gold2x 10.5L in Silver1x 7L in Silver3x 2L in any color (invisible)Furthermore we need 4x 3L ribbed hose. The Red base model uses a Purple 12L hose, to be cut. But of course you can use another color if you like.” I’m building the black model, just wanna know if the 3x2L cutted in any color is also invisible in the black one? If so, in the parts list, which one was it (uncut) thanks oh and I’ll probably buy the instructions around the next couple of days

Things were smooth and all of a sudden it might just go all the way downhill… basically what happened is, I’ve selected most my parts in pick a brick (it had me split orders because I reached the maximum), was going to pay then got logged out suddenly. Whenever I try to get back in a message displays and forces me to log out. It has been a day I’ve tried so many ways and still can’t fix it :( what I suppose is they locked my account because I put too much in my shopping cart? I really don’t know. From your experience, could there be a way to recover the selections or am I doomed? And is there something I should be aware of when shopping on Lego.com in the future? Oh and here’s a screenshot of it (eurobircks said file is too large so I had to put in in some image sharing website trust me there is no virus there and wouldn’t hack your computer I swear https://ibb.co/LvLSWLB

I’ve checked the prices, and I’ll do 2 batmobiles it’s cheaper that way. Is brickowl good for the rest of the parts? Or should I stick with bricklink (never used owl before but the prices look cheaper) It sure does sound good, but I kinda doubt the parts would cost that much alone idk, I’ll check it later. Asked you this question already and rebrickable but I’ll just ask it here as well, any other sets worth getting for ththe parts? (Best if they are small, cheap ones)

I asked axtyanax about th blue part thing and it’s only the seats which is what I wanted. For the parts, which parts did you do on pick a brick? (I have no idea what parts are new or old) could you send a list (or would it be too complicated for you if so then maybe don’t) also wanna know around how much did the pick a brick, and bricklink orders cost respectively (excluding the batmobile) it could help a lot with orders (if your not comfortable with sharing these it’s still fine)

Yep im purchasing the instructions after I finish organizing the parts ordering. A question I have is, (it’s on astyanax’s rebrickable post so idk if you’re a part of it) there’s some blue parts in the part list, are they only for the seats/interior? Or are some of them used in the exterior (wing/sides etc)? I kinda wanna keep the outside black and the inside can be blue. Final question is which site did u order your parts? Thanks again

Hi there! Awesome build by the way and I would like to build it as well (organizing the parts ordering rn) I agree to what you said about the headlights, could you provide a lil bit of detail on how you did the headlights with the 1x1 round tiles? I checked the photo gallery but still don’t quite get it
