  1. Not sure if i can post image itself, but someone on discord leaked presumeably Ninjago set listing for January 1st 2024 (no names, just set numbers and prices in Euros)
  2. People suggested it might be- Ah, that explains, i missed on this somehow. Thank you from breaking me free from this
  3. Tommy Andreason did congratulaed new writters on DR launch: "I have yet do dive in myself, but from what I've seen the reception has been overwhelmingly positive! It's always nice to know you're not needed ." which was followed by words of comfort by new writters. This heavily reminded me of that one said-to-be-fake leak, part of which had rumor that Tommy was laid off from ninjago after crystalized. Also it was confirmed that he is working on Dreamzzz (i saw photo from some presentation/con thing), interestingly it was part of same leak too. Leak was cluster of random info bits, so obviosuly most of it was actually fake (except for prelims part), but still i find it suspicous that some bits turned out to be true. Am i becoming "that" guy?
  4. So things that yet to appear in DR: So far it's not that bad. I'd say i noticed a lot of similarities with plot season, not sure if that's intentional I've heard a lot of criticism toward DR, i guess people forgot it's meant to be kid-focused show? I mean, lego literally named it "Dragons Rising" solely because of internal research of what kids wanted from ninjago more. I'd say if you watch first ninjago seasons without being a fan like right now, you probably would have same reaction. My personal opinion about DR however:
  5. I have theory that they might do sets where cores from gimmicks will appear (green - obviously big green dragon, orange and teal)
  6. Watched review of new spinners from DuckBricks. These are terrible xd But really, can this be considered funny or concerning? Guy said that you have to loosen the joint by yourself in order it to reduce friction. Out of 3 only Lloyd's one spins properly, and simply because it's having rounded bottom. Nya's one literally doesn't work at all? Also they are tricky to spin in first place, new hoods are a bit part of this problem since there is no really good contact points on spinner itself for your fingers (tried spinning figure with ninjago movie mask by it's head?) There's also cool things in that review that i never had realized about new sets Hound is built in way that you can slam it on table and it won't spread legs at all (by sacrificing forward movement of back legs), and mech-bike's foot is not rigid and also adaptive to surface/leg pose
  7. I personally imagine chancellor Palpatine-like guy, idk why Major spoiler about this whole Ras thing:
  8. That's cool! I didn't get it when i looked at it first, but then i did read this is bounty's dragon but in red Very nice addition, also good that you mentiod it's bigger than it looks on set pics and can rival the hound. Size comparsion is difficul to tell sometimes
  9. As long as they don't reuse same villains for each dragons rising wave, it's ok Since i'm kinda worried that imperium is going to be entire show's villain faction, which will reduce villain diversity in sets dramastically. core atleast could introduce new villains Ngl bone warriors looked so cool, i thought core will finally do better things. Oh well..
  10. Uh oh, this might turn older fans away completely Let's hope it's not that bad
  11. Feels like 2017-2018 all over again. Still to this day i encounter people that refuse to watch oni trilogy and hate anything that goes after it because... Because of ninja redesign, can you imagine I think problem is that people forgot they can grow up, thus develop more nostalgia to older seasons and hatred to any changes, because you want everything to be as good as you dreamily remember
  12. I think post reads that mech-bike was meant to be "Mech that actually transforms by not rebuilding it", which why Chi Wing Lee was tasked to help with it in first place Pretty cool though
  13. Aaaaand here's comes the byname
  14. There is also social problem here. Biggest ninjago module set, yet it'll be infamous just for "poop system"
  15. JB Spielwaren have released Mech vs Dragon review Dragon seems not super stable in legs and neck, and tail's root is not moveable. But overall it's pretty good I love that we are getting more big elemental dragons in modern era We already have Fire* (2018), Energy (2021), Ice (2023), and now Lighting! (2023 too) Not sure if Nya's seabound one can count, it's not really as massive as mentiod ones Now we need big earth dragon, right? Hopefully DR or atleast Core could deliver some good one in future *If we can count Firstbourne as fire one. It's kinda marketed as Kai's dragon, like Chompy as Wu's and Firestone mech situation, unless lego decides otherwise
  16. Exactly why this wave feels off to me. For some reason MK feels more Ninjago than Ninjago itself? Facts, best lego mini animal
  17. Hmm, so Imperium is new universal villain, more and more they feel like Half-Life's The Combine (Multi-Dimensional empire with desire to devouer other realms into self, and both have one-eyed elite guys). I wonder if that means this entire wave covers all DR seasons
  18. I looked at videos at lego.com More positive about some of sets now, team mechs still huge moc material, and apparently Zane's car have spin mode? Shame nobody told anything about that, kinda fun
  19. 2 Blue ones in Zane car 1 Purple in Lava Dragon 1 Gold in Temple 1 Yellow in Mech vs Dragon
  20. To be fair, i have left with mixed feelings about this wave. Perhaps looking how Lego does big sets for MK, and Ninjago gets shortest end of a stick again. Minifigures are nice, presonally love new suits (when they have dark eyes. Otherwise they are not that good somehow) Villains are great, glad to see Roundheads got unique face. Ras is unfortuately atrocious, his eyes are way too high from mouth position which they have fixed in show. Empress is similar case, mouth is too close to eyes which imo ruins it. Wolf is epic besides goofy eyes, Mech-Bike's bike mode is very good that it can work very well as standalone vehicle set. Lava Dragon is a scam, sorry. 55$ dragon, which whole selling point is "Transforming". What transformation we get from lego in this 50 bucks set? "Flip limbs." Manually flip legs and head, rotate them 180, and tada. Yeah they want to be "Tread Assault" so bad, yet still in my eyes this is either lazy or zero budget. No words. Dragon itself is allright though. and purple ball is my favorite so far. Elemental Dragon is best set to me, Mech is too thin but ok. Good minifigs choice. Temple... I mean, it's nice building, but "cores" in name yet there's only 1 and it's generic one. But there's also unique minifig? Guy looks cool, love his torso. It is also very remniscent of Airjitzu Temple design, hmm... Wu got Lloyd's treatment and lost his cape from prelims, seems they have run out of fabric for summer sets. I assume most pieces in Bounty went into it's base and outerior. Also rip Ninja Dragon Samurai idea :( To be honest, i myself surprised that my final emotions are partially negative. I liked prelims, i liked figs, but still, wave looks so off. Yet maybe it's just personal feeling that will wear off through some time, idk. But i'd say, Hound, Mech-Bike and Mech vs Dragon so far are best in my eyes. Sad to see Team Mechs not looking good combined.
  21. Ladies and gentelmen, i congratulate ya'll as we finally made it to this day!
  22. Fastest text in the west I believe Sora doesn't have any secondary hair tho, none sets have it so far (unless as bonus piece in some expensive set? The mystery temple)
  23. New bounty pic in goat's insta (better quality of previous pic) Seems like azure dragon is inside ship rather than outside Also closer look for Roundhead's hat
