In terms of Swamp Speeder, there's nothing at all backing the Luminara+Rex rumor other than just wishful thinking atm right?

I am gonna have to disagree with that for a few reasons: The Ghost in 2014 was $90 with 929 pieces. The Ghost going up to 1083 pieces and only getting an extra $10 tacked on to the price does not really align with Lego's current pricing model. Also, seeing how demanded the Ghost has been over the last few years and based on the fact that IF it did release, it would include some also highly demanded minifigures, they would put it behind a bigger price wall. I know this is no place for speculations, but I am pretty sure a Ghost will come out this year and my guess is that it will be the $150 1394 piece set. I think this could explain why Amazon rushed to snatch up exclusive rights to that set because they know how in demand whatever that set will be, like they did with the Razor Crest, which could totally be a new Ghost.

I get they had limited concept art, but I don't get why they didn't just wait ESPECIALLY since its coming out in August to make the mech itself more accurate, include the grievous guy, and even a cage and charge a bit more. But nothing we can change now :)

Exactly, and once the Fang Figther v Tie Intercepter releases, my guess is that it'll be the coolest mando s3 set, no one will be looking to buy a spider mech from episode 2 in AUGUST. But yeah there have been plenty of rumors on here regarding the set that have certainly given an idea what to expect for this finale which kinda sucks but whatevr.

I seriously don't understand lego's timing behind the release of all these s3 mando sets. They should have done snub fighter, spider mech, and microfighter for April 1 and the rest May 1. Especially scratching my head at the spider mech coming out in August.

But even if it included a skiff and sarlaac, why not just make that some large playset rather than a $600+ collectors piece? The set doesn't really make good sense anyway you spin it in my eyes at that price range. As I did say earlier, I agree, it's a 2024 set for sure. This does raise one concern though. If this comes out in 2024, there will be FIVE SW sets over $600 (ATAT, Falcon, Razor Crest, Fall 2023 UCS, and Sail Barge) and SEVEN above $400 (Gunship and Cantina). I personally think Lego is completely out of pocket with all these high priced D2C lately. I guess enough people are buying them that they keep making them, but it sucks for the average consumer that cant just walk in the store and spend close to a grand on Lego. Not to mention, it is totally out of line with their mission of being a KIDS TOY COMPANY.

First off, lego insider news has been proven to be a sham time and time again so I hardly believe the rumor. This Sail Barge is supposedly coming 2024 hence why Jabba's Throne Room was likely delayed to save on production costs. But personally, I don't see how a $650 Sail Barge sells well. The only $600+ UCS sets have been ICONIC vehicles (Falcon, ATAT, Razor Crest), I don't think Jabba's Sail Barge fits that company. I further don't see it selling well if: A. Lego releases a Jabba's Throne Room later this year/2024 where Jabba The Hutt will be available for presumably ~$500 less. B. There is a somewhat inevitable absence of a princess Leia mini figure. In my opinion, it would have done far better as the May 4 UCS this year and simply including a nice Jabba figure and Max Rebo. In this scenario, if the Jabba's Throne Room still came out, they would probably do a good job still selling an ample amount of both since Max Rebo would be a good selling point at $240.

Don't count out that the price could potentially increase from the rumored $100 to $120. Seen a few people on here mention that and wouldn't really be suprised.

I wouldn't read too much into Rex getting a new head print in TSS too much as many other characters were updated. Doesn't necessarily correlate to an immanent release. It is nice knowing that IF we got a new Rex fig, it would likely have a cool detail like that however. The blunder of not releasing him during peak S7 hype made no sense to me, but despite that being a golden opportunity to release him, I think the demand is still there and maybe even higher, so TLG will hopefully see that and supply.

Oof. If he's in an Ahsoka set, he'll likely be old man Rex. That would be the biggest troll from TLG.

Rex in that set is wishful thinking to the max. I don't think he's completely off the table this year with the mystery sets, but I bet lego would take the route they did with Cody last summer by putting him behind a $140 wall.

Does anyone have any good guess for the May 4 Promo this year? 289 pieces, 1 minifig. I'm gonna guess it'll be ROTJ themed and probably have some relevant tie in to the X-Wing. My personal guess, as lame as this is, is that it'll be a mini Yoda hut since thats the only appearance of Luke's X-wing in the movie. Also maybe a Falcon Cockpit similar to the Solo promo where we maybe see a Nien Nunb figure. But it could also just be some totally random thing from the movie so idk.
