The flipside also applies: It's interesting to note who we have already toppled. I mean, we've slain a god. Can't go too much higher, and we're not even in Expert classes.

Those are some mean butterflies. Funny how enemies in Heroica scale. Lowly city rats will one day be able to kill Chimeras.

Working on a little something.

No, I'm not seeing that problem. What I am seeing in the hall is trouble, probable epiphany, and possible catharsis.

The Death Progg isn't even the main antagonist this time around - he has some brothers he'd like you to meet!

I may have to delay it regardless. I'd just be using LDD when suddenly the computer reboots for no reason - possibly due to faulty parts. Funds are a bit tight (why do you think I use LDD? ) so we'll have to see where we go from here. Hopefully, it's just the insane amount of dust that is cauing it to reboot. Gotta find my can of compressed air... Also, I'm aware that the reward is low.. Very low. The Progg's have a knack for carrying around expensive trinkets, though...

When timing my quest to go after 35 and 38, I made one fatal flaw: All of them had their character's epiphany planned.

Meanwhile, Punii keels over and suffers a heart attack...

For what boiled down to a string of battles, Zepher, that was excellent. All of the battles seemed well thought out, and the plot was bursting out of your every post. Big .

Current Sign-ups for Quest #48: Death's Homecoming Alex (Played by CapnJohnPaul) Czech (Played by RPGer) Groggily getting up from his makeshift bed made of tissue paper, the yellow creature checks the sign-up sheet. He looks at it and sighs glumly. "They're going to win... all of them..."

"Let's go back to bed, guys."

"And as my one final arguement. People are voting for me because I am too on guard. Don't I have the right[/i[ to be? Half of this office wants to send me down to "interrogation". This old coot doesn't have enough heart left to survive that. When I am cornered, of course I am going to act defensive! It would make no sense not to. I have to thank Andrea and Gary (and his little robot too) for standing up for me a bit. At least if I lose here, some people revealed some rather questionable true colors to give me the boot, though I'td probably just be more useful to keep me alive and have an investigator pat me down tonight." -

"Erm. You're voting for a townie has defended nearly his every move and volunteers to defend even more, just for a learning experience. Assuming that there is a killer, which there always seems to bew in these games, we'll have something to go by anyway. I know a lynch is imperative, but when I've defended nearly my every word, I don't see how it is logical to do this. A scum can just swoop in and seal my fate, and we'd be down one townie. Zachary has made me very suspicios. Gives a pathetically short reason, then when he actually votes, just says "because of my previous reason." A bit vague, whippersnapper. Vote: Zachary (Zakura) -

"I'm unsure what else people want me to defend on. At the time of my counter vote, Ian was the only thing resembling a lead that I had - and not to mention as I believe (gary?) pointed out, Ian was acting just as oddly at the time too. I've defended my ground, but I can't help sway if you don't tell me what you'd like clarification on. If you're so deadset that this old codger is a mafiaso, you'll be dissapointed come day 2. Heck, some of the votes for me have just been coupled with a few words: hardly reliable or descriptive of their motives. I can't defend myself if you don't ask me anything." -
"Enjoy, I suppose. I'll take a Croise Armor, and you can take this Scythe for 15 gold, right?"

Could you please explain how, and perhaps I could ease your concerns? If you are still talking about that one specific line, I'm not sure what else you want. -
"4 gold to Nagure and Mcency, 3 to me."

I unvoted him due to the fact I am not sure who my vote is currently more worthy of. Anger does not disqualify me from thought. It started like that, yes - I was reasonably baffled and irritated why someone would randomly attack me like that. But I Thought Ian was the best target at the time. Isaac, you switched your vote just because I wasn't speedy enough to reply. I sleep too. it isn't like a janitor to "muck things up", or in others words muddy them and make them unclear and confusing. A pun on my part. A lot of the apparent suspicion has so far been caused by that infamous quote. I clearly outlined the fact I thought Ian was scummy throughout the entire post. Therefore "a scum would never try to lynch their own" stemmed from the fact that A) I am townie B) I did (and still am) thought Ian was fairly scummy. Therefore, it was simple deduction on my part. Are analogies and metaphors scummy too? ...How so? If you are talking about unvoting Ian, that is mainly due to the fact I'm not sure who to vote for currently: the lawyer or the janitor. -
"Erm... Go, nagure! I guess. Order: Nagure

I believe I voted for him on the suspicion of him being scum, that and I'm currently conflicated between he and Ian. I belive the other bailed on Ian too because of this same reason, unless acting on a similar logic as someone is scummy. Flailing implies I have not put any thought behind my actions, lad: which I have done. Aren't you saying this a bit after the fact, detective? All of your reasoning is based off of my previous actions, which I have explained. You seem to also enjoy force-feeding words into my mouth. If Ian did that to someone else, a similar fiasco would most likely occur. Besides, your arguement boils down to "he is jumpy". -It is day one. -At the time we had virtually nothing to go by. -Someone randomly throws a vote at me for no apparent reason. -I retaliate, he basically outright states he was trying to start a bandwagon (later light was shed on the fact that it wasn't just a probe to me either) My vote placement makes sense that early in the day before Isaac started mucking up this entire process (rather uncahracteristic janitor). You said it yourself, detective: a lynch is imperative. With nothing to go by except Ian's incredibly hasty and seemingly scummy actions at the time, I fail to see how my vote was that scummy. Isaac: is it my fault if I say "cat" and you thought "dog"? It was pretty obvious it was hypothetical. -

Harumph. I'll be keeping my eye on you, but currently, it seems that Isaac is the better target at the time being. I'll wait for his respone before I place a vote, but right now it's probably between you and Sweepy.
